Westin Harbour Island - Tampa

Les chambres sont très belles La salle de fitness est très bien, très moderne avec salle de bain à disposition et une belle vue sur la baie La piscine est sympa avec des chaises longues à disposition

When we arrived trash was overflowing from trashcans in front of builidng. Carpet in front of room was stained and door to room would not close properly--had to be slammed to latch. Location is convenient, but there are other, newer hotels located in same vicinity that are much nicer.

Check in was at 3pm. We checked in at 4pm and still had to wait for 2 hours after that to go to our room because it wasn't ready. In addition, access to the pool and the elevators were very old and not kept up well. It was convenient for staying one night, but I would choose a different place to stay on my next trip to Tampa.

This hotel is in a great location, but very run down!! Would never recommend!

Bathroom sink would not drain, came to fix twice and nasty black stuff kept backing up in the sink. finally moved us to another room just to be able to clean up the next morning. To date the customer service has not corrected the problem as promised. Good luck.

I live in Northern Tampa and ran away for a weekend of hockey and the Gasparilla Knight Parade... This was the perfect spot... close to Ybor, around the corner from Channelside and in the midst of downtown... not to mention right next door to Jackson's. While our room was extremely comfortable and clean and all the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the halls and pool deck were drab and worn-looking.

When I booked this hotel I thought it was a 4 Star plus hotel. The parking situation was terrible with only underground parking which was at times inadequate. Two elevators did not work which caused a little frustration. Generally clean but I would recommend it only if you need to be on Harbour Island. Getting in and out is somewhat difficult.

Convenient access to Channelside and upscale eateries. A perfect retreat for celebrations.

The carpets were dirty throughout premises. Elevators were broken. Cable reception was poor. No ice bucket!

The hotel, as many have stated, is just not what you expect from Westin. The hotel is just very old and very dirty. The rooms were fine and they seemed to be clean enough. They are, however, very noisy from people in the hall. Again, not why you stay at the Westin. Excellent location but we were disappointed how worn-down the hotel is. The elevators are a complete mess. The pool elevator is scary! Charging $15 a night for parking is a rip off. There is a garage right next door that charges $5 which would be best if you are planning on parking and leaving your car. Otherwise they charge $5 each time you leave […] the garage. Room was OK but the smoke detector flashing like a strobe light was annoying. Ended up waking up in the middle of night and putting tape over it. Overall, it wasn't worth the money. Lisez la suite

Certainly not worth the price and most certainly not worthy of the title Westin. By far the most outdated Westin I have ever stayed in. When I asked the front desk about this they told me that the hotel was recently purchased from another chain and a massive remodeling project is in the budget for next year. We stayed here to catch a concert at the Forum. Easy walking distance to this venue, Channelside restaurant and the Aquarium. The hotel was top quality with all the amenities expected at this level of hotel. However, I find it quite annoying in this day and age when a hotel charges extortionate prices for wireless; they shouldn't charge anything at […] all. This left a sour taste in my mouth. Great location and a good price. Front desk and valet fantastic. We asked for a late check out for 2pm and and was granted with out a problem. The day of our check out we got to sleep in and our first door contact was at 11:15 am asking when we would be leaving ??? we explained that we had a late check out at 2 pm, OK no problem. Second door contact […] was 11:45, then 12:30 again at 12:45 and finally at 1:30. During the rush to get us out of the hotel we realized that the toilet was leaking and the shower head assembly broke free from the shower tile, We called the front dest and they said they would send someone up to fix this but it would be 30 to 45 mins. We adapted and showered the best we could. We entered the lobby at 1:55 with 5 mins to spare. It was explained to us that we could get the late check out because no one was going to the room after us. Now I know why. Great hotel, but expect to be pushed out and don't use the toilet or take a shower. Lisez la suite

Hotel is pricey, but a beautiful place to stay. We were here for a wedding at the Florida Aquarium, which is very close by. The staff were exceedingly helpful throughout our day, They checked us in with no hassle despite being three hours early, and did everything they could to make us feel welcome.

I had the view of the bay from my hotel room, and it was absolutely beautiful! The bed was covered in pillow, and made it so hard to get up out of bed in the morning. When you walk into the room it made it feel like it was a mini apartment! In the shower there is a double head that made it feel amazing! On business I pay for a hotel to sleep in a bed, finish up some email, take a warm shower and maybe get a workout in. 1 out of 4 is all I got from this hotel. Shower was freezing cold or scalding hot. WiFi is not free. Free gym access to the gym across the street actually costs $15. The bed was the only thing this hotel didn't mess up. The hotel rooms look old and a bit run down. Some roaches in the bathroom and balcony.

I stayed at this hotel for a work trip. It was good enough for that. My 2 biggest issues were with the elevators, which were old and a little scary and the cold/hot water in the shower. It took me 15 minutes to get the water at a temp that I could stand. I'm pretty sure I almost got burned! After traveling a long day from Philadelphia, my girlfriend I checked in and we was in heaven. Everything was perfect!!! Did not want to get out of bed for our cruise the next morning lol. Will be coming again soon, thanks!!

Staff was very professional and friendly. Rosa the bartender was welcoming and funny. Enjoyed the location and facility.

Hotel Staff were very nice. Location is great. But, had to get another room because the refrigerator didn't work and there was a little trash including a beer can in the bathroom. Plus, trash was in the bedroom trash can. So weird, the refrigerator in the 2nd room didn't work either.

This hotel is really does not deserve the Westin name. The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. The elevators are very loud and you can easily hear them from multiple guest rooms. The service is not great. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired.

Seemed a little dingy overall. But nice neighborhood and convenient to the downtown area for walking to things.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the room was very clean, if somewhat worn. There was a huge TV, but the reception was less than stellar. The night view more than made up for it! we ordered Room Service on the door hanger the night before, and it was delivered right on time-- and the food was great. Very nice, great service, was in walking distance of the arena so we could walk, felt very safe.

No problem with the hotel except nothing is included in the room rate: no WiFi, no breakfast, nothing.

The hotel was simply fabulous. Service was impeccable. The valet/concierge was the best I have ever seen. The location is stunning right up to the dolphins frolicking in the water surrounding this hotel. In walking distance to the St Petersburg Times Forum, local restaurants and within ten minutes to any other destination in the area, including Ybor […] City. Can not say enough about this hotel, its staff, whether you are accustomed to class hotels or not . . . this is a location NOT TO BE MISSSED. Worth every penny of your stay !!!!!!!! Lovely hotel ideally placed for St Pete's Forum, Tampa (walking distance). Beautiful view from our room at least.

a very nice hotel in a great location. the only draw back was the worn condition of the carpet and the hall walls needed painting.

Carpet, decor, hallways all needed an update! It wasn't a cheap hotel and we expected more from a Westin. Bathroom was clean but dated!

We were visiting friends so location was important. Our first choice of the Marriott was full so this was an alternative at a good location. We were disappointed with the general look of the lobby. The carpet was very tired and a bit frayed and the escalators were old. The rooms were more modern and perfectly acceptable. I finally received a room and I was placed close to the exercise room. During most of the night the door would be banging as the fitness room would close. I did not sleep well one night! The cleaning lady was very nice and kept the room very clean.
