Le staff est trés aimable, surtout la reception. Excellent service à la cafeteria. Les chambres sont modernes, propres et confortables. L'hotel ne se trouve pas au centre mais est bien situé au bord de la rivière qui vous conduit directement à la vieille ville. Très bon hôtel et super buffet pour le petit déjeuner. Seule déception : la taille de la chambre. Un peu petite pour un couple avec enfant.

Hotel à recommander, pas de reproche particulier à faire, le seul point à noter est de prévoir 20mn de marche à pied pour se rendre dans le centre historique si on ne veut pas prendre son véhicule.

Chambre particulièrement confortable. SDB propre et agréable.

Très bon accueil, la réceptionniste avait quelque base de français. Chambre très confortable très accueillante mini bar et produit offert dans la salle de bain très calme pas de difficulté pour se garer parking sous terrain payant mais les rue sont gratuite soir et dimanche. non loin situer de l'hyper centre Je conseille vivement cet établissement!

Hôtel très agréable et confortable,facile à trouver. Nous avons apprécié le parking en accès direct depuis l'hôtel, le confort et la bonne insonorisation des chambres. Le restaurant sans prétention mérite aussi d'être signalé pour le bon rapport qualité -prix qu'il offre. Un seul regret un peu loin de la plage.

Hotel is realistically a 15min walk from old town but this is through a nice, safe area and streets with bars, shops etc. Hotel doesn't look that impressive outside but the interior is very well kept and modern. Rooms are very comfortable with good beds and furniture. Ideally location next to bus stops for those arriving or leaving by bus.

This hotel was awesome! It was beautiful. Would definitely reccomend to anyone wanting to stay here in San Sebastian. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to come back and stay here.

The Silken Amara Plaza is modern and beautiful, with a nice restaurant/bar. It is literally right next to the Bus Station, and near the downtown area,

Our overall experience in San Sebastian was hellish due to having the worst food poisoning my husband and I have had in our lives (NOT from the hotel...from a pinxos bar in the old town). That being said, when my husband's illness hit, the man at the front desk overnight on Monday, November 26th made a world of difference to us. My husband would have […] had to been hospitalized if we didn't get his fever down so I needed to, in the middle of the night, go to the 24 hour pharmacy in the old town. The concierge called a taxi for me and asked him to take me to the pharmacy, wait for me and return me to the hotel, as the taxi driver didn't speak any english. He also translated my husband's symptoms into spanish for me so I could give it to the pharmacist. I also fell sick a few hours later and it was impossible for us to leave the hotel room and check out on Tuesday morning as planned. When I called the front desk and explained they were very accommodating. We couldn't say how long we'd be staying but instead called each morning and said we were too sick to leave, could we stay for another night. In each instance the hotel was more than accommodating. When we were finally able to walk down to concierge four days later (we still weren't in any condition to travel at this point) we asked if they could clean our room right away, as we couldn't stay away from it for more than 15 - 20 minutes. The concierge, once again, called housekeeping and had them drop what they were doing to clean our room - which wouldn't have been a pleasant task considering the circumstances. Looking back at the trip, and the admin nightmare we created by missing 4 flights and returning our rental car late due to illness, we have said several times that the ONLY thing that wasn't excruciatingly painful and disasterous during those last four days was that the hotel was able to accommodate us like they did. A longish but rather nice walk to the old city, where the action is. The hotel and our room were very nice-looking and generally well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. The Hotel was Wonderful and the staff was excellent. I emailed ahead that I had special dietary needs since I have Celiac Disease. The hotel staff found me wonderful Gluten free bread and was very helpful on what entree's were Gluten free and safe for me to eat. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Silken Amara Plaza and would come again in our next trip to San Sebastian. Room and breakfast: The room is a good size and quiet. Very nice, staff is great, Nice area, but not within walking distance of the beach or old town. In Spain everything is 5 mins. away according to locals. Then you realize that that it can take you up to a 30 mins. at a fast pace. Buy the bus card from the hotel, you will need it. Bus service is excellent, and frequent. I thought this hotel was fabulous. Yes, it did cost a bit but I felt it was well worth it. Everything was within walking distance and I would stay here again

This hotel is excellent - we would highly recommend it. Nice stroll along the river to the city center; convenient parking; good service; very comfortable rooms - has it all. We were sorry for not staying longer but we will be back.

I stayed here for two nights. We checked into either room 102 or 103 and were greeted with a waft of smoke. it was disgusting! we phoned reception and asked for a new room but the hotel was full that night. the receptionist was also very rude. we later found out that the first floor is a smoking floor. they didnt inform us of this at check in. we dint […] spend much time in the room due to the smell and woke up coughing the next morning. we demanded to be moved to a new room. the sixth floor is a smoke free zone and we had a plesent nights sleep here. breakfast was ok - good selection of fruit, pastries and cooked food. would stay here again....on the sixth floor only! The price for this hotel was high. It cost the same for three nights here as it did for five nights in a similar hotel in barcelona (and the room here was small-ish). The hotel was still great though; very clean, nice lobby, very friendly staff. There's also a bus stop nearby where you can get several buses to the main boulevard. The journey only takes about ten mins. I will definitely stay here again when I return to San Sebastian. Good reception. Good service. Good location. Good taste. Symple litle things did not work very well: edredon is too hot for summer nights; (offered) bath products were not properly filled for our stay; bathroom flusher was not working properly. Need to pay for parking.

Good hotel as a base, room spacious, comfortable and modern. Has sectioned off parking at slightly reduced rates in the nearby underground car park but not told this before we got there. It is however a 'good' walk to the old town over 20 mins at a pace.

The Amara is a very nice hotel whose only drawback is that it sits beside a busy transportation access point. The buses, taxis and tour buses kept up a busy stream of traffice from early in the day to the evening. The hotel was clean as should be expected,very nicely appointed and the bedding rather comfortable. It is situated a good walk from the popular […] downtown and beach area, but not too far to walk. A taxi ride or bus ride would be short for those not desirous of walking to the old town area for dinner, sight-seeing or shopping. The front desk staff were a bit stiff and formal, but due to high season and the rush of patrons, not un-expected. The resturant/bar staff were more cordial, helpful and efficient. My wife and I asked for a bucket of ice to chill our "Cava" purchased at a local supermarket and were promptly and graciously provided such. We ate at the in hotel resturant and the food was good, hot and tasty. It was our second night in Spain and we were still not used to eating as late as is the custom. The Amara Silken was a little pricey, but not too bad for high season. A good first visit to Spain place to stay, but for the next trip, I would drop down a star and try one of the more local hotels and a more local resturant. Lisez la suite

Adorei os hoteis Silken. Fiquei em San Sebastian e em Sevilha. Os quartos são ótimos e o café da manhã é sensacional. Devo destacar também as amenidades nos toiletes, que cativam qualquer hóspede. A localização do hotel é espetacular, pois fica próximo ao centro (15 minutos de caminhada) e exatamente vizinho à estação de ônibus, onde se pode pegar ônibus […] para o aeroporto de Bilbao, Biarritz, Pamplona etc. para alguns bate-voltas muito legais. Es un hotel en buenas condiciones, nuevo, muy cerca del tren y junto autobuses pero es buena zona. Estuvimos muy agusto y tuvimos la suerte de estar en la planta 8ª donde ponen cafe y pastas mañana y tarde para los clientes.la sala planta E es muy agradable para leer y disponible ordenador. Diponen de Wifi gratuito.

La habitación era perfecta, con una cama super grande y un baño impresionante. Estábamos en la novena planta y teníamos unas vistas fabulosas. Además, la estación de autobuses está justo delante del hotel, y hay un montón de paradas de buses de línea a dos minutos andando, por lo cual las combinaciones de transporte son ideales. Nuestra estancia fue genial, el trato del personal, la habitación y todo lo que pedimos nos lo dieron.

Tengo 2 hijas de 5 y 3 años por lo cual es muy difícil viajar , pero en este hotel fue una maravilla la atención que tienen es maravillosa , a las niñas les daban dibujos para que pintaran por lo cual estaban entretenidas, la habitación amplia con un sofá cama como complemento no parecía un hotel de 4 estrellas parecía de 5 , en el baño tenían cepillos […] de dientes, cuchillas de afeitar , champo,crema, de todo muy recomendable , sin dejar pasar por alto el desayuno buffet una delicia , la atención del personal en general fue fantástica definitivamente repetiré hotel Lisez la suite

El personal del hotel muy atento,la habitacion muy comoda, limpia e insonorizada.Los desayunos muy completos, si hay algun pero que no lo es tanto es que esta situado a 15 minutos andando de la Playa de la Concha.Calidad -Precio muy buena.Yo si algun dia vuelvo a San Sebastian repetiria en este Hotel

En general todo estuvo muy bien: servicio, habitaciones, limpieza y comodidad, nos sentimos muy agusto. El unico aspecto que mejorariamos; sería la fachada. (el exterior del Hotel). Pero por lo demás todo excelente, regresaremos la proxima vez, con mucho gusto.

Personal muy mal encarado, tenia pensado una estadia de 5 dias y cancele el primer dia.Quizas fue mala suerte o quizas un mal dia de la persona que me atendio.

todo correcto, el personal del hotel es muy agradable, se puede ir paseando hasta el centro de la ciudad y la concha.

Buen Hotel con una buena relación calidad / precio, teniendo en cuenta los precios de los hoteles en San Sebastian

Me gustó mucho la habitacion del hotel, como el resto, cabe destacar el trato de ambos recepcionistas, tanto el de dia como de noche, fueron autenticos profesionales, la limpieza de la habitacion estaba muy bien, un solo detalle, la musica del bar algo alta para un sitio tranquilo.
