Pour nous c'était le luxe! L'hotel est une succession de grandes maisons de 3 niveaux, chacun ayant sa terrasse privée avec vue sur le Golf et la végétation tropicale. Un vrai appartement décoré comme dans les magazines (entrée, cuisine américaine électro kitchen aid, grand salon)la baie vitrée donne accès à la terrasse privée. 2 salles de bain (tous les produits sont fournis:dentifrice gel douche shampoing après shampoing et lait hydratant) et une immense chambre. La piscine à côté de la réception est grande avec de multiples chaises longues et jacuzzi(les serviettes sont fournies). Le restaurant de l'hotel est très bon, le menu enfant est très bien).Le Spa et la salle de sport en haut de la réception sont très luxueux. Attention cependant, nous sommes à 20 min en voiture de Miami beach, et à côté de l'aéroport (mais on n'entend pas du tout les avions)

Nous y avons passé une nuit sur notre autotour entre Fort-Myers et les Keys. Emplacement à la sortie de Florida City sur la route des Keys. Nous avons eu peur en arrivant que ce soit bruyant mais en fait, il est un peu en retrait de la route principale et donc calme. Personnel accueillant. Chambres propres avec petite table et chaises devant la porte, style motel. Petit déjeuner continental simple. Nous le recommandons sans problème.

NE PAS SE FIER AUX COMMENTAIRES PRECEDENTS l'hotel est génial les réceptionistes super accueillant et qui parlent francais (1sur3). Les chambres sont spacieuses et tres bien equipées. Les 2 jaccuzis sont au top! Certes il y a une taxe de séjours de 60$ non mentionnées mais a part sa tout était parfait. Hotel tres bien situé a 50 metres des bars et en meme temps l endroit est calme. Seul Hic des vacances lorsque vous louez une voiture bien faire attention au stationnement on ne peut quasiment se garer nul part les parcmètres proposent une durée de stationnement courte et si vous dépassez de 2min vous avez une amende a 90% je parle en connaissance de cause..(18$ a regler sous 1 semaine sinon 48$) des parkings payant et surveillés sont proposés mais 30$ minimum la journée...les fourrieres tournent 24h/24 et la facture s'élève a 300$ prenez garde! Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la piscine sur le toit, les chambres spacieuse et le look un peu 'asiatique' de l'hotel. Un peu loin de Miami beach mais on y trouve des restaurant dans les environs qui sont sympa.

Seul bémol, le jour de notre arrivée, un dimanche, la piscine a été louée à titre privé à un groupe de jeunes rappeurs, ... short jusqu'aux chevilles, tee-shirt jusqu'aux genoux, lunettes démesurées, musique rapp avec basses à fond, aucun savoir […] vivre ... bref, la galère!!! The hotel was OK. The room furnishings were worn and the chairs were stained. Another thing is the marble floors were very pretty but not very clean. The rooms in the Hotel Mayfair are beautifully appointed. The style is very appealing. The swimming pool on the top of the hotel is lovely and if you have children with you, very, very welcome. The pros: Uniquely laid out hotel. "Old Hawaii" is best way to describe it. Beautiful interior landscaping. Beds comfortable. Hot tub on outside deck. This was a reunion trip with my 2 girlfriends I'd not seen in 20 years & I can't think of a nicer hotel to spend it in. The rooftop pool & bar were just beautiful in the evening with the skyline of Miami. "Excellent Hotel"
My stay was excellent. My room was an Executive Double. The room was a lot larger than I was expecting; one of the largest rooms I've stayed in, compared to your standard hotel room. The room has a large flat screen tv and a small flat screen in the bathroom. Both have extended premium cable channels (MTV, HBO, etc.) The beds were extremely comfortable […] - and I am a VERY picky sleeper. Pillows were just right, bedsheets were soft. The room also had a living room area (sofa, loveseat, end tables, regular table) followed by a balcony with a 2 person hot tub and a padded lounge chair. They charge you $30 to set up the hot tub but you can save that money and do it yourself. Just open the small side door and adjust the water and temperature. The room was quite and very well kept. Also, it's right in the middle to CocoWalk. I would stay here again.... for special occasions since it is a little hefty on the wallet, but once you visit the hotel, you'll know why. Excellent Hotel! The service at this hotel was outstanding, and most of the staff consistently went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again! The biggest "con" was that it was a little noisy. Definitely recommend this place!

The decor and furnishings of our room were excellent and full of character, as was the enclosed atrium/cloister from which access to the rooms was gained. This was my second time staying at the Mayfair. The first time we were blown away by what a great place it was for the price. The seecond time there I was no less impressed with the quality of the hotel. First it's in a fantastic location. Lots of shopping and dining right across the street and within blocks of the hotel. Second, the hotel has an awesome […] asian-inspired theme. It's very tranquil with an open air atrium and plenty of spaces to sit, listen to the running water within the facility, and soak in the tranquility. The rooms are wonderful as well with enormous japanese style hot tubs in every room and modern stylings throughout. We had a nice night at the mayfair. Japanese style hot tub was a +++ just awesome. Great room service and employees charisma was notable. Extra charge for minibar, hot tub and miscellaneous stuff( toothbrush , wines, snacks,etc) great hotel overall for a romantic stay...not for party people

The shower tub needs to be reviewed. One end is the shower head and a protective pexiglass wall to avoid spashing. No way you can control the water without geting your Hair all wet. Also there is an incline as you enter the tub and you can almost fall. It happens to our friends also. This is a danger to all. "Character and a little luxury, but a little frayed"
The Mayfair has romantic personality. The interior courtyard, with quiet pools and lush greenery is lovely and a focal point of the hotel. Too bad the rooms don't open on it. Instead they all face streets, which are noisy almost 24/7 thanks to the clubs and CocoWalk next door. We changed rooms after the first night. The new room was a little better, […] not being opposite an HVAC across the way, but still far from quiet. Room appointments are near, but not quite, luxurious. The big flat screen is jammed on a too small dresser that abuts the window, making it hard to draw or open the curtains. The TV couldn't turn all of the way toward the bed even if the stand had swiveled. The in-room jacuzzi might have been great, but there is no way to light the space at night (and no way to close the blinds above it during the day). Plus the jacuzzi faucet had a major leak. Little things subtracted from what might otherwise have been a four-star experience. The Mayfair is a nice hotel in a high-energy area. It's not what it could be though. Lisez la suite

"Not a good expereince."
The internet is very slow. Don't even think about using the business center, the computer is obsolete. We were there for over 45 minutes and did not get anywhere, just needed to print something. We got charged for the services we did not get anyway. Talk to the assistant manager and she said that the business center is run by a separate company, so […] they did not take any responsibility for the service. The hotel brings the tropical outdoors inside with beautiful open to the sky areas in the lobby and a covered balcony off each room, all with lush foliage. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The rooftop pool and bar area is a must to see even if you don't have time for a swim. The Mayfair is an incredible hotel at an amazing value. The location is second-to-none and it made for the perfect spot to lounge and relax, both before and after going out on the town. "Great for a girls weekend..."
I went with my sisters for a four day getaway. The hotel was so clean and comfortable and the food and surrounding shopping areas were great too. I would definitly recommend to someone as well as visit again.

For the price (a 50% off bargain deal) it was acceptable, but my experience didn't match the pictures/description online. The people at the hotel were nice, but not very helpful - they were out of non-feather pillows, balcony hot tub wasn't filled after requesting it in person at front desk, never got extra towels (ended up taking some from pool area), […] and called downstairs for ice and it never arrived (the ice situation is aggravating - ice machine is on certain floors behind a door marked "Pantry - Employees Only" - ended up getting myself anyway). "The Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove"
We had a wonderful stay at The Mayfair - our only complaint was that our room had some maintenance issues that needed to be tended to, which is something I would not expect in a hotel the caliber of The Mayfair. However, these issues were fairly minor and did nothing to detract from our stay. We would certainly stay at The Mayfair again.

We stayed at the Mayfair Spa and Hotel for one week, July 23 - 30, 2011. The hotel was located right in Cocowalk. Very close to restaurants, bars, stores, and movie theatre. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The rooftop pool was great too! Didn't get a chance to use the spa, but had a pool side massage as a special to guests one day. […] The spa director was Paul was very good! If I had to complain about one thing, I would say that the rooms were a bit damp feeling and the floors could have been washed more often. We did have to wash our feet every night before going to bed as they were black from walking around without shoes. All in all, I would still go back because the service and location were A+.
