"Sheraton, Burlinton South, VT"
Way overpriced. Stay at a Best Western. You can't tell much difference and save 50%.
I was very pleased with our room. We were going to the Shelburne Museum and it was a very convenient location.

"Watch out for the small print!"
THIRSTY? in large letters on water bottle. The price per bottle can be read via magnifying glass. Ditto the price of using the in-room phone - rates listed somewhere near the phone. Do they charge for room to room calls too? Otherwise - the room was clean though a little noisy (air conditioner, doors slamming) and it was very close to downtown.
"Conference area seemed nice"
Rooms needed updating. Old windows with screen ripped; bathroom door had holes in it and dusty behind door. Very convenient for our purposes.
"Sheraton Hotel in Burlington, VT."
Very good service and the rooms are VERY clean. It needs to be modernized. The decoration of the hotel is outdated in the halls, rooms, lobby, elevators, pool. Needs a good facelift otherwise very good...
"Sheraton Burlington VT"
great all round. Only thing missing is a room safe.
"Weathering the storm"
We originally planned a one-night stay for a family wedding. When Hurricane Irene hit, my daughter and son-in-law, who were the only ones able to get there, were able to extend three nights at a preferred rate. They finally escaped, just before the Winooski River crested, on Tuesday.
"Room service?"
The hotel was clean and very nice. The only issue I had was that room service was terrible 2 nights in a row. the first night they sent up an incomplete order then brought the item up and then brought the same item up (which wasnt needed) and double charged us. The second night they didnt pick up. The front desk saod I had to go downstairs to put in […] my room service order. does that not defeat the purpose of room service? Other than that the hotel was fine Lisez la suite
"sheraton hotel and conference centre in burlington"
The service and hotel lobby was lovely, but the rooms are dated, we were 4 people but only enough coffee supplies for 2, the beds were really comfortable but only doubles, queens would have been better.
"Disappointed with Sheraton in Burlington VT"
Rooms are very dated. Definitely not what I would expect for a Sheraton nor for the cost to stay there. Very disappointed.
"Great Hotel- Wish it was closer to some nightlife"
Super nice hotel as most Sheratons do well in service and cleanliness. I wish it was closer to some nightlife. Most areas, 1.5 miles is not far. In Burlington, VT. That's far. $10 cab fare each way to enjoy an evening was a stretch. But still, a great place to stay.
"Easy access to the highway and downtown"
My brother and I had a great stay at your place where we walked the short downhill distance to downtown Burlington...The rooms were perfectly furnished and the down comforter on my bed was SO comfortable... The hotel desk handled all of our questions accurately and professionally, and I would suggest that hotel to anyone going up to the Burlington […] area! Lisez la suite
"Sheraton, needs vacuuming"
People were nice, but under beds hadnt been vacuumed since the Bush era. Expected more for the price. No fan in bathroom also bizarre, leaves room foggy after showers. Did appreciate the complementary computer station near restaurant. Hallways were like saunas presumably to cut down on a/c costs, but higher floors were frigid, (of course those rooms […] cost more) but I saw this as chintzy. Also, the usually blasting room air conditioning mysteriously stopped working two hours before checkout time. Not great considering it was a sweltering day. Made me leave with an unpleasant feeling...that they cut it off to save costs after guests elave....Not nice when we are still in there. Lisez la suite
"sheraton Burlington"
For the rate there should be a frigd. ao real coffee cups instead of paper cups. The desk staff was very polite.

"A welcome relief"
After a miserable experience at another hotel we found Shangrala. Bed and bedding were terrific and room clean and fresh. Only negative was the use of a poor Hollandaise sauce most likely a mix that needs to be replaced on their eggs Benedict. Fruit plate was exceptional. Keep up the good work.

"Too pricey for the quality"
The hotel has some nice features including the indoor pool and open dining areas. However the condition of the room I stayed in was dead average at best. The decor and furniture looked old, the windows were foggy, and there was an old hotel stale smell to the place. Compared to Hampton Inn or Marriott, the Sheraton paled in comparison. One saving grace, […] the quality of the food for room service was above average. Lisez la suite
"Burlington VT Sheraton"
This a very large hotel that's a mile from downtown Burlington. We got a great rate on hotels.com which made it worthwhile. They have a shuttle service to the airport and downtown that picks you up a drops you off wherever you want to go. Everyone was very friendly and I would recommend it.
"Sheraton. Burlington, VT"
Had a very nice stay at this hotel. For the price, they could include continental breakfast, or newspaper service. No mini bar, which I don't usually use anyway but do expect to see at a hotel.
"Past Its Prime"
Hotel staff very friendly but hotel looked tired. Signs of aging: painting needed in areas; spots on sofa; old plumbing! Toilet took FOREVER to refill and all night there was a banging from what appears to have been a plumbing shaft. Woke me up and kept me awake. Pool L-shaped so no good for swimming laps. Restaurant food adequate but service substandard; […] had to go and ask for a menu and a glass of water to start! Maybe okay for tourists but not a good business hotel. Lisez la suite
"Broken Air Conditioner"
After checking in, the room would not cool below 76 degrees. The maintenance man came to "change the batteries on the thermostat" and override the operation, stating it would be fine. Within one minute, the unit shut off, but continued to click loudly for several minutes, and the thermostat was blank and not functional. The manager stated there were […] no other rooms available, but brought up a portable unit. It was installed improperly, vented hot air into the room and leaked all over the carpeting. The bathroom had a moldy handicapped bench in the tub, which was disgusting. I would not recommend this property!! Lisez la suite
"Is everything now a la carte?!"
Disappointed no wi fi in hotel unless at a charge - even in the lobby. Bathroom clean but in disrepair.
"Excellent service"
This hotel has one of the best staffs that I have experienced in my business travels over the last 4 years. Friendly, attentive and quick. The hotel is very nice - the only recommendation I would have is to renovate the hotel room hallways - they are starting to look a little run down. Church St. Marketplace is only a mile away - not a bad walk as […] long as you have the right shoes. Taxis to and from were very reasonable. I would stay here again. Lisez la suite

Great hotel. Highly recommend.
"wi-fi"
Loved the location . Convenient to universities. Rooms were clean and kids loved the pool .Extra $10- charge to use wi-fi in the rooms seems a bit archaic although It is free in the lounge.
Disappointed there was not wi fi in the room. No place in hotel to easily get coffee to go and no hot tub

"Needs update"
This hotel was not up to Sheraton standards. My family has stayed in many Sheratons in the past and this one felt very outdated. The service in the restaurant was so bad for breakfast we went for fast food the next morning. The prices for food at the hotel were not family friendly. The room was very small and felt cramped for two adults and two small […] children. Lisez la suite
The room I stayed in smelled moldy.
"Great quality for the price!"
My daughter and I stayed here while visiting UVM. The hotel was convenient and easy to find. The lobby area was comfortable and spacious, and the room clean, pleasant and comfortable. I would stay here again anytime!
"Great location- perfect for UVM visits"
Hotel was very clean and lovely decor. Indoor pool area and lounge had really cool architecture. Staff was friendly and helpful, but service in the cafe was very slow and not terribly polite.
"Sheraton Burlington"
Excellent! I have stayed here several times. It's very convenient to town and the rooms are very nice and staff as well. Slept great.
"Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center"
Very nice hotel! I was remarkably surprised, given the price. The facilities were nice and clean and the staff was nice, helpful, and friendly. I plan to stay here later this summer (assuming the rates are not ridiculously higher), and would definitely recommend to a friend.
"Just Good Enough"
I was extremely surprised to see that there was a $10 charge for wireless internet in my room but they had free wifi areas in the hotel lobby. I'm amazed that this was the case. Also the coffee dispenser in the lobby again was for a price. If I were to stay in Burlington again I would stay somewhere else that wasn't trying to nickel and dime me.
"Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center"
This hotel was clean, spacious and up to date. Definitely would stay there again. We were initially concerned that it would be noisier than the down town Burlington hotels (because it is right of interstate 89) but it was very quiet. Just a couple minute drive into downtown Burlington (where there is street parking or parking garages).

"Burlington Sheraton"
The location and newly updated/remodeled lobby, lounge and poll area where great. The room was not so great. It was small, old and not updated at all, just a new coat of paint. We were so excited when we got to the lobby and were quickly disappointed when we opened the door to our room. Beat up, older furniture, old, hollow, plywood door to the bathroom. […] Linoleum, no stone counter tops. Small and dated. New bedding was nice but that was about it. Lisez la suite

Generally good. Common areas very nice but corridors and room a bit tired and in need of an update. Watch out for the extra charges too. Internet was triple charged because it's not for the room it is per device that connects - would have been good to have that information upfront.
"Lovely Valentines Day Stay"
Nice big room, really comfy bed and starbucks coffee in your room. No free wi-fi in your room though. Overall, a really nice stay for a good price.

"The Sheraton Hotel in Burlington, Vermont"
I was extremely dissatisfied with the Sheraton Hotel in Burlington, Vermont. I found the staff rude and insensitive and the rooms "very old". They really need to be updated, with microwaves and refrigerators standard like all of the other hotels that I stay at.

"Dirty hotel. Few amenities. Rude staff."
It took us 15 minutes to check in because the hotel staff failed to book our room despite my making this reservation 45 days ago. There was no easy access to our room, it was a 5 minute walk from the entrance. We had to drag our bags by the pool and through the restaurant to get to our room. Our room did not have coffee or toilet paper. The TV remote […] didn't work. The wallpaper in the halls had fallen and there was black mold growing on the walls. The walls were paper thin, and every time someone in another room opened or closed a door the wall by the bed shook. The shower faucet was screwed on so tight my girlfriend cut her finger trying to turn it on. The shower water was either cold or scalding, no in between. They charged $9.95 per day for wireless access. Completely unacceptable in 2011. They advertised a regular shuttle into downtown Burlington online, then told us that the shuttle wasn't available. It was New Year's Eve. What kind of hotel doesn't run its shuttle on New Year's eve? They gave us misinformation about the cities first night events. The manager was pompous and confrontational and yelled at us when we complained about the poor service and questioned the hotel's pricing policies. It seemed like he wanted to pick a fight. He refused to give us the Sheraton's corporate HQs phone number when we asked. He refused to provide his name. We did not receive so much as an apology, just excuses. Avoid this place at all costs. Bring your credit card and dig deep. $15 per person for eggs, $10 a day for WiFi. If you dont need WiFi and have a vehicle to go to a local restaurant then you are fine. The hotel was clean but the room I reserved was not available when I arrived at 4pm and was downgraded.
