"Access to Tube--great. Excellent connections"
Good trip, except for the cold wind and rain. Hotel great.
"Very nice hotel in a great location"
Had a lovely stay at the Millennium Gloucester - staff very friendly, courteous & helpful, standard double room was fine, very comfortable bed. Can't rate breakfast as we used cafe across street. Bar expensive. Overall, very positive - would definitely stay there again.
We are pretty sure the Hotel has BEDBUGS! We saw several bugs and had suspicious bites on our legs Hotels.com should investigate this and contact the hotel management
"Millenium Gloucester Hotel in London"
The hotel and services were quite adequate.
"London Hotel"
Perfect location for our family. We had an overnight trip through London and needed a place to stay. It is right off of the tube. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood early in the morning and there are nice places to eat. Will stay there again as long as the price is right.
"Excellent Location - Value for Money"
It is just around the corner from the Gloucester Road Station on the Picadily Line from the airport - possibly the most conveniently located hotel at such a reasonable price!

"Good value weekend stay"
I'm not sure about the week day rates but this is great value for a brilliantly positioned hotel if you are attending an event / sightseeing / shooping in the Kensington or Knighstbridge areas. Easy walking distance of the V and A and Natural History Museums, Harrods and Sloane St etc. If you like Indian food the next door (famous) Bombay Brasserie […] is a must for dinner. Lisez la suite

Thank you for a good stay.
"Great Location, Friendly Staff & Great Value"
The Millennium Gloucester is ideally located 5 minutes from the Gloucester Road Underground and within easy walking distance of museums, the Albert Hall etc. Our room was clean and comfortable although natural light was limited and bedside lighting was poor. We had a B & B tariff which made the whole staff exceptionally good value. We wouldn't hesitate […] to recommend this hotel to others who are visiting London on business or for pleasure. "Very handy if coming from Heathrow aiport"
Good hotel really handy if you are coming from Heathrow as there is no taxis etc to get. Just to the right as you come off for Gloucester on the Picadilly line. Food in hotel bar is really good. Rooms could be a bit more modern. Overall stay pretty good.
"The Millennium Gloucester Hotel - Horrible Service"
I found the general condition of the hotel and the room to be nice, and the neighborhood and proximity to the station was fantastic. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor in a few instances, and I would not recommend the hotel to anyone based on that. First, when checking in to the hotel for a 3-night stay, I was told that internet service […] wasn't included in my reservation, then given a set of confusing choices between either paying an extremely expensive rate of £20 per day or a special "guest rate" of £10 per day if I reserved it for the entire stay. Not needing the internet, I clearly refused their offer at check-in, but still got hit with the £30 charge when I checked out. Despite being told by the check out reception clerk that the matter would be cleared up, they have yet to do anything and have not responded to status inquiries. Also, I accidently left my glasses behind when I checked out. I needed to contact the hotel mulitple times over 3 days to confirm that they found them. Even after indicating I would gladly pay the cost to ship them back to me in the U.S., the hotel representative was rude and told me that's not something they do and that I would be better off to have someone local to pick it up for me. While I was fortunate to have a local relative who lived across town and willing to help me with that, but the fact that the hotel wasn't willing to help with a fairly routine issue like that was very disturbing. Overall, if customer service is important part of your hotel experience, stay clear of the Millennium Gloucester. Lisez la suite
"Good location and service"
This is an excellent location close to the Tube and many museums. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast, given the price, was not great. Some cooked items were not kept hot and the range of cereals and fruit was limited. The associated restaurant, Olives, is also quite expensive.
"Millennium Hotel, London"
Spent 5 days at the Millennium Hotel on a mid week break. Location of the Hotel is first class for the Tube (5 mins) and getting around London - Gloucester Rd is also located on the direct line from Heathrow Airport. Hotel excellent - staff very helpful - room very spacious, modern and kept spotless. Highly recommended and would certainly use again […] . Lisez la suite
"Millenium Gloucester, Kensington London"
Stayed here for a weekend visit in London. Great access from the Tube being literally a few yards from Gloucester Road station on the Piccadily line, and from there easy travel up to Piccadily and Leicester Square stations to see theatre shows. We had a standard double which was comfortable and clean, flatscreen TV and even ironing board and iron. Ate […] out in the evenings but breakfast was a good buffet all hot and tasty, with plenty of staff on hand to serve teas/coffees and clear tables - would definitely stay again. Lisez la suite
This hotel was in a good location and right next to the tube. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was great except we had to pay for WIFI. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
"Excellent, convenient London Kensington hotel --"
I was delighted with my room at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel (Kensington) in London. I was there for 3 nights in early January as a female solo traveller and felt quite safe in the very, very pleasant neighborhood when coming back to the hotel in the evenings on the London Tube. The Gloucester Road Tube station is only one-and-a-half blocks away […] from the hotel, a short and pleasant walk. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The neighborhood had very good amenities, such as Cafe Nero, Pret-a-Porter (for nice, sandwich-type meals), and at least two pharmacies. My room was very clean, with good decor, and was surprisingly spacious for a London hotel! The bathroom (including bathtub and shower) was beautiful and spacious and looked brand new. The biggest surprise was that I had a king-sized bed without asking for anything but a regular single room! I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot comment on that, but I was very pleased with this hotel in every way --- including the fact that it is on the very convenient Piccadilly Tube line that takes you to Central London as well as Heathrow Airport. "Millenium Gloucester in London"
We were made to feel welcome once again! A convenient and comfortable hotel always.
"Needs updating"
This used to be a great hotel but it is tired and the lower price we paid reflects that.
"Hotell Millennium Gloucester"
A very good hotell with nice rooms and friendly staff. I will stay at this again.
"Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington"
Nicely located near underground, Starbucks, Pauls, Burger King, Natural History Museum etc. Very exclusive feel to the hotel and it has a very good hotel bar.
"What you'd expect from a 4 star"
Good lobby and great location but the service was questionable. Staff wasn't to customer friendly and were always trying to make that extra buck off you. Room cleaners woke you up everyday too early, but I'd stay there again for its location and good rooms.
"Nice Hotel, Nice Location, Nice Everything"
I practically dart-boarded where I would spend my weekend. Based on other's reviews and the hotel's website, I picked a real winner. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. As a busy American accustomed to showering, I hadn't contemplated soaking in a tub in years. Well, the tub was large and the water got hotter than I would ever need so I […] took the most exquisite baths!. The location is very convenient for getting to central London and the neighbourhood has a variety of eateries and such; I never ate at the hotel so I can't comment on the food service. Lisez la suite

"Millennium Gloucester- Good value for Price"
Good value for price. Comfortable, reasonably large rooms, w/ pretty good beds by normal rock hard euro standards. Good fitness center, but for runners, Kensington Gardens is only a five minute run away and very scenic/safe. Seemless check-in; had adjoining rooms (requested via email in advance) that were available when we arrived at 11:AM. Easy to […] see why large US tour companies and lots of airlines use this hotel. Less than 1 minute walk to Gloucester Rd Tube station (serves Piccadilly, Circle and District lines- see below). Can't comment on the overpriced breakfast quality- but looked very good- However it's cost prohibitive for a family of four for a week (apparently included as part of most package tour guests)- Think well above good Disney hotel buffet breakfast prices! But then again Starbucks is right across street from Tube and cheaper than in the States, and there's a little breakfast place between he hotel and Tube with English breakfast for a few pounds. Ditto Tesco food store next to Starbucks- for good almond croissants and other fresh bakery stuff for under a pound.... so who needs hundred+ dollar family breakfasts? You'd think hotel would figure that out and be more reasonable/family friendly, but for the price can't complain too much. Similar story wih crazy expensive hotel internet. Use the free wifi at Starbucks which is open until 10PM. Piccadilly Tube line gets you to Leicester Sq and Covent Garden in 12 minutes with no charges- five more minutes and you're at the Eurostar/Chunnel St Pancras station. (but give youself 20+ minutes there to get through security/passport if going to France). If arriving at Heathrow, save yourself some money and take the regular Piccadily line Tube, which stops right below the terminals and takes you right to your hotel (Exit @ Gloucester and hang a right- hotel is right across the street, but could invest in better sign!). The alernative is the pricier/faster express train to Paddington Station , but you'll need Lisez la suite

"Premium accomodation at Great value!"
I transfered to Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington after spending 3 days at another more expensive hotel in London during a recent business trip to London. Once business was over I looked for another hotel to save some money and decided on Millennium as it was half the price of the hotel I was staying at. Millennium totally exceeded my expectations. […] The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The carpet in the hallway was in the process of being replaced; I loved the smell of the new carpet! The foyer was opulent and guest services exceptional. Conveniently located right next to Gloucester Road subway station; literally 60 seconds away. I would definitely recommend Millennium as a preferred place to stay in London for business or pleasure. Lisez la suite
"Hotel in Kensington"
Round the corner from Gloucester rd tube station and with easy access to main tourist sights. also close to kensington Olympia. Comfortable hotel with nice, welcoming staff. Breakfast pricey though! Plenty of local shops though!
"Great Location"
If the rates are to your liking, you won't go wrong here. Superb location for easy tube access, lots of dining options, easy access to all stations as well as heathrow. Only downside is ridiculous and inexcusable high internet access costs but good 3g coverage!
"Millennium is MARVELOUS !"
We met friends in London abd stayed at one of your sister hotels - a lovely smaller hotel. We left the city for three to drive into Cotswolds; and we were disappointed to find that the first hotel wasn't available. We were so happy to find that your magnifcent millennium was available because it was same brand to hotel. What a wonderful welcoming atmosphere […] .... Beautiful lobby..... Very amicable front desk staff.... Perfect accommodations.... Great location! And really enjoyed concierge level with the ability to grab a tea or coffee and snacks after long days of sight seeing. The concierge was helpful as well. We all just loved your hotel; and when we return to London the Gloucester millennium is the place my husband and I will definitely stay. Thank you Lisez la suite
