Bel hôtel, très bien situé mais en prenant une chambre supérieure on se retrouve dans une chambre tres sombre,donnant sur des tuyaux d aération, interdiction d ouvrir la fenêtre, bref la vue et la luminosité d un motel. Très bel hôtel luxe, situé au coeur chic de Londres, tout près de la station de métro Green Park. Personnel très accueillant et attentif. Nous avons pris la chambre famille: spacieuse, avec 2 grands lits. Bon restaurant mélangeant les saveurs méditerranéennes et orientales. Prix à la hauteur du service attendu. Nous n'avons pas essayé le spa.

J'ai souvent été dans des 5étoiles et celui ci ne les vaut pas. Beaucoup trop chère pour se qu'il est. Sinon propre, assez bien entretenu. Par contre très bien placer dans le centre de Londres, arrêt de métro à 1min à pied.

hôtel très sérieux, super bien situé (10mn du palais de la reine, 15mn de chez Harrod's et pôle shopping 100m d'une station de métro : GREEN PARK et le tout à pied!!!! cet hôtel a tout le confort, la discrètion et ' acceuil souhaité. à recommander sans hésitations.

La situation géographique de l'hôtel est son meilleur atout. Il se trouve proche de Buckingham Palace et des quartiers de Soho, Picadilly, Regent street.....Il est situé dans une rue calme. Le standing de l'hôtel est bon et j'y retournerai sans problème.

3rd time we've stayed at the Mayfair and once again it didn't disappoint. Excellent service, spacious rooms (Deluxe) and cracking location in the heart of Mayfair. Main hotel bar is pretty busy but the bar of the casino (attached to the hotel and free to get into) was much quieter. Very good value for a 5* hotel in the centre of London.

Very good hotel, good location to tube. Staff very helpful. Only downside was we had per booked & paid & when we went to check in found our booking had been cancelled, staff soon sorted this out. Make sure you get a room with street view!

First of all, I have to say that I really hate to leave poor reviews but when a hotel is unresponsive, it is kind of unavoidable. The doorman WROTE our room number IN BALLPOINT PEN on my beautiful designer leather luggage tag. I was horrified to say the least. What kind of person does that? You'd either have to be really clueless/oblivious or not care […] at all - not sure which is worse. I tried to reach out to the hotel but to no avail - auto response said they would get back to me within 48 hours. it's been a week. SECONDLY, when we ordered a margherita pizza before checking out and received a pizza with arugula - no tomatoes. We were in a rush so we were unable order another. The hotel was pretty pleasant and the room was spacious and comfortable. The choice of scent in the lobby was a bit strange. It was nice to have a fairly late checkout and a real tub to unwind after an overnight redeye flight. The included breakfast was quite enjoyable, as well.

The staff we very welcoming, efficient and friendly. The hotel and room were very clean and stylish with exquisite finishings and furnishings. Finding the hotel from the tube was very easy just around the corner from green park tube station. The location was perfect for our romantic valentines trip. The hotel boasted so many luxury amenities, posh restaurants, […] bars, spa and casino, would have been lovely to go to them all if had more time. The hotel made our trip extra special. We have stayed many times in the Mayfair area but this was our first time at the Mayfair Hotel. It is undoubtedly situated in a great location for the brilliant restaurants and shops, that are only a short walk away. Overall our stay was very enjoyable, despite the pricey drinks in the famous bar - great for people watching but watch out for the service […] charge, when you buy directly at the bar. Our room was a little disappointing - TV in an awkward position,wardrobe in the bathroom and no mirror in the main room, but the decor and cleanliness were fine. I stay at this hotel often. It is well located near my office and I like the Mayfair neighborhood very much. The rooms are comfortable and I'm happy that wifi is free rather than the outrageous charge that most nice hotels add. I highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed in 5 star hotels and this is not one of them. It is a nice hotel in a great location but does not provide 5 star service at all. Actually, there isn't much service at all. At least 3 to 4 times during our 7 night stay we had to ask for extra towels because there weren't enough towels in our rooms. Our daily rate included breakfast and […] afternoon tea. Breakfast buffet was wonderfu, and is well worth the extra money. The afternoon tea was just okay, nothing wonderful to talk about at all. We are American and have stayed in London before at other hotels that provide much better service for less money. Absolutely lovely hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great food and of course we know that since we had afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast . The room was great and had a beautiful bathroom with all you could wish for including robe and slippers. We will be back.

The May Fair Hotel had excellent accomodations, service and location. The room size was good and the bathroom was well appointed with a free standing shower and a bath tub. The location was an easy walk for me to go to Hyde Park/WInter Wonderland, Harrod's, the V&A Museum, Picadilly Circus, etc. The hotel was next to a "staging street" for the New Year's […] Day parade, which was nice to see without having to fight the crowds along the parade route. My room was not noisy on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. My only suggestion would be to make sure non-smoking rooms are in separate corridors from smoking rooms (or separated as much as possible), because on my last night there was a group of heavy smokers who checked into the room next to mine and the smoking was so bad around midnight that the hotel staff moved me to a different room. I then decided to make special requests about my room the day before my arrival to avoid possible noise or tired facilities. Judging from my experiences and reviews I checked, I assume that there are still some rooms before refurbishment, which may give very negative impressions to the guests. Very disappointed - for a highly rated hotel that wasn't cheap, I have stayed in far batter and we had a deluxe room. It was clean enough etc but no plugs in bathroom and no mirror in bedroom. TV was very small and far from bed, alram clock was on far side of the room also so you couldn't see it during the night. The only drawback about the hotel is the room temperature, I had to keep the windown open to keep the room temperate not too warm since it was maintained centrally and not from the room itself.

They turn the bar in the lobby into some Essex hot spot, where every night loud rude people congregate, don't expect a quite nights sleep. Our hair dryer was broken, and we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for a new one. During this time I had walked down to reception TWICE! to ask where it was. On leaving the hotel, the smoking area is located, AT THE […] MAIN ENTRANCE, so once you have walked passed the crowd of smokers you get yourself to the front door, on leaving one of the door staff was handing cigarettes from his packet to a guest of the hotel. We arrived on the Saturday at noon, was told there was no hot water - that both boilers were not working and the engineers are working on them and there will be hot water at 4pm. The hotel room we booked was a superior king. The room and bathroom were smaller than we expected and the bed was squeezed in, no room to pass at one corner becuase there was a table and 2 chairs in the way. The lifts are extremly small inside and with 4 people, you will find that you are breathing in to avoid touching tummies with the person facing you. One lift out of the 3 available was out of service all weekend. Our "superior king" room was on the 8th floor too!! The restaurant in the hotel is very expensive for what you are actually recieving, would not recommend. There was more often than not no doorman out front - which one would expect at all times from this sort of hotel. Plus points about the hotel, hmm??? Let me think: the location is close to buckingham palace and regent st. The hot chocolates in the bar are nice - when you can get a seat in the bar! The hotel bar was always very busy.
