"Hilton Tower Bridge"Evalué par Audrey de "Coulommiers 77" le 10 févr. 2012

"Clean and well situated hotel"
Clean room... Service OK..THe tube is 3 mn walk which is very convenient... If you arrive too early to check-in, they won't give you the room until 2 PM but you still can leave your luggages at the hotel for free...
"Big Building - Small Rooms"
The lobby is nice enough (aside from the pumped in cologne smell), but that's about it. The 6th floor smells like cigars even though it is a non-smoking hotel. The rooms are small and out-dated. There is parking under the hotel, but they don't own the lot, it is small, and it is very expensive.
"Superb Location"
Great location near to tube, restaurants, grocery stores, drug store, etc. Easy trip to all London highlights. Hotel is a quality lodging establishment.
"Basic Hotel but GREAT Location"
Other than the fire alarm at midnight friday and the ensuing chaos (the staff really had NO idea what to do) of hundreds of guests, in PJ's on the street, the stay was actually quite nice. Rooms are small (to be expected in London), beds are ok, but for the price paid AND the location, cannot be beat. Other interactions with the staff were great- offered […] me free breakfast when I checked out at 6 am on Monday. Do NOT expect a 4 star hotel, but it is not rundown either. Lisez la suite

"Holiday Inn Kensington"
Great hotel. Staff were very friendly and fab location. I did a weekend break to London with my 12 year old son on a budget. Five minute walk from Natural History Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum (which was breathtaking). Good area and felt safe to walk around. Some lovely shops and restaurants, also plenty of convenience stores nearby. Strongly […] recommended - great value for money. Lisez la suite
"Holiday Inn Kensington"
I travel a lot and will usually select a Holiday because of it's friendly service and I know I am guaranteed a good room at a reasonable cost. I was sadly disappointed with this hotel, starting with check in. The "manager" behind the counter was not friendly, I felt like I was an inconvernience for him. It seemed everything was "extra". Parking was […] 33 pounds a night - outrageous! Internet was 5 pounds an hour, usually a complimentary service. There was only one towel in the room for the 2 of us. Breakfast was over 12 pounds. I will not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend to anyone. Lisez la suite

"Decent hotel - brilliant location"
Decent hotel with good sized, comfortable and clean room. Brilliant location as it's very close to Gloucester Rd tube. Helpful reception staff. Concierge were also very helpful. Good choice of food at Breakfast, but did have to queue to be seated.

"Internet and room service"
There is a charge of £ 16/day for internet!!! £ 5/hour. That is crazy!!! We ordered room service. Only after 35 minutes we got a call to ask for our order... Staff friendly, management stubborn, there are better hotels in London with free internet!
"Holiday Inn Forum Kensington London"
We had a great time and the Hotel was well located.
"Holiday Inn London - Kensington Forum"
The room was a little small, but okay, could have used a little better cleaning, a little dusty. Close to the tube, which is very convenient. The staff could have been a little more knowledgeable about a few things, kept getting conflicting answers on a few questions. Would stay there again when in London.
"Good spot close to Tube"
Though the room is not huge, it has everything you need. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is a block from 1 tube station, and about 4 from the next one. Both stations have pub and restaurants around them if you find yourself in the mood for some food.

"Holiday Inn hotel in Kensington (LONDON)"
Dissapointed with the hotel on the overall. VERY EXPENSIVE for the quality shown. Over rated miniscule size room.......4 local calls within London cost a total of 27 sterling pounds for a total of 9 minutes.

"Like travel lodge but twice the price"
Good location, convenient for park, musuems, Harrods and tube. Bathroom could have been cleaner..grouting dirty and pubic hair in bath and only one towel on arrival. The towel maid was not helpful when asked to provide towels and clean the bath. She rubbed her hand round the bath and threw the hairs onto the floor. I then had to ask her to clean the […] bath and the floor...she said it wasnt her job! That apart the rest of the staff were very polite and helpful. The room was warm and neat but very confined and the bed bases had no covers and were stained. Lisez la suite
"Holiday Inn London -Kensington Forum"
Rooms are small but that is the norm for most hotels in Europe. Close to the tube and lots of places to eat and good pubs within walking. Downside is that they charge for internet and being a large international chain seems a bit much when you can go to Starbucks and use wifi for 5pounds and get a cup of coffee too.
"Holiday Inn Kensington London"
Hotel was Fine service efficient and curteous, apart from I reported on first day of our stay that the water pressure in the room was extreamly poor the water did not so much as flow out of the taps as fall out. It took a few minutes for the water to get anything like warm let alone hot. I was promised, by reception, that they would attend to it however […] no sign that it was. So we put up with it Apart from this irksome complaint we enjoyed our stay. Lisez la suite
"2 devices for Wi-Fi access, only 1 can be active."
The staffs at the front desk, room services, breakfast, etc. are all excellent. Excellent to the underground tube station, a grocery store and several bars. The one thing which really troubled me is the hotel Wi-Fi services only allowed up to two devices to have access while only one device can be connected. It would be great if they allowed me to […] rotate among the 3 devices I brought (an iPhone, an iPad and a laptop). My laptop was locked out. The staffs at the front desk and IT support line are very good and helpful but the most they could do was to remove my iPad from the list and add the laptop instead. Food is ok, the sausages and mash was not as good as 3 other places I tried. Lisez la suite
"Nice hotel; good location"
For having high standards I found this hotel most adequate. The staff was helpful; the property clean and orderly, many dining options, and close to underground station. This is now my hotel of choice in London.
"Connecting places"
Not far from Underground station "Glouster Road" connecting town centre and LHR airport with Picadilly line and other parts of Great London by Circle line and District line, which is very convenient for turists.
"Convenient"
Lovely neighborhood, good breakfast, convenient to transporatation. One complaint - you can not reach anyone on the phone. I tried the desk+++ when a couple was having a very long loud argument in the garden. I tried calling the next night for a wake up call. I've tried calling them several times since trying to clear a mischarge from my bill and you […] cannot get anyone to answer the phone!!!!!!!!!! Lisez la suite
"Great Location close to the Picadilly Line"
It is a great location a block away from Gloucester Road Tube Station on the Picadilly line and for Heathrow. The rooms were average and we had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The staff were very helpful and polite. There are lots of good breakfast places close by if you don't want to pay for the expensive breakfast and a great variety of resta […] urants. Lisez la suite

"The Kennsington London Forum hotel"
The hotel was very nice, the room was small, but, quite adequate. The bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was very good, a short walk to the tube.
"Clean, air conditioned, well-located"
This is a basic hotel that is simple, clean and well-located. We were grateful for the airconditioning. The street outside is very noisy and the window needs to be kept closed at night. The bed was rock hard but otherwise the room was comfortable. The small fridge in the room and superb concierge service were much appreciated.

"Holiday Inn Forum- easy access to tube lines"
The Forum is perfect for a novice tube traveller. District, Circle and Piccadilly lines all 1/2 block away. The neighborhood is good and has local restaurants. Their is a grocery store attached to the tube station. two pharmacies in 1 block. The hotel is average price and amenities. It is not a luxury hotel but is better than average. The concierge […] is very helpful. The staff at the desk is average. Lisez la suite

"Very old and poor maintenance"
Even though the hotel is very well located, everything is very old and the maintenance is very poor. Really poor price quality ratio.
"Good location, great neighborhood"
The hotel is located next to a tube station and not very far from the main London attractions. The neighborhood is very nice and safe. Good selection of eating places nearby and a grocery store right next door. There is also a small launderette just a few hundred yards away for extended stay. The hotel itself is fairly nice, good size room and bathroom, […] clean. American outlet in the room is a very nice feature. Staff is courteous and helpful. My flight from US was postponed by one day, I called the hotel 2am London time and they were very helpful in making arrangements for my late arrival. I stayed there 8 days and felt very comfortable. This may not be an "authentic" British experience, but I really appreciated the little comforts of America. A bit pricey, but this might've had to do with convergence of holidays and European Soccer Cup final on that week. Would stay there again Lisez la suite
"Holiday Inn - London Kensington"
Perfect location. New the underground. Centrally located. Room was large and so was the bathroom. Would recommend. Hotel staff excellent.
The hotel was in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of restaurants in walking distance. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The rooms were very comfortable for european standards. My only criticism is that in this day in age Holiday Inn should offer free WIFI.
"Holiday Inn near V&A"
Nice hotel and near tube. The address is misleading for getting to the front door - it would have been much faster to walk from the otherside of the tube station to get to the hotel - the address shows one street, the actual entrance is a block away.

"Holiday Inn London-Kensington Forum"
An overall positive experience, one of the best hotels in this category so far in the London area, with a very nice breakfast buffet. Also close to public transportation.
"Kensington Forum- in need of an upgrade"
I have stayed at the HI Kensington Forum on and off many times over the past 6 years and this time have found that it was not up to the standard it used to be. For example, our room had no refrigerator and when one was delivered upon my request it didnt really work. The telephone was faulty with a loose wire and could not be relied on, the water pressure […] in the shower was very poor and the quality of the buffet breakfast in the dining room has greatly deteriorated in selection. The best thing about the hotel was the concierge (Allan) who was a wealth of knowledge, very helpful and a joy to talk to. Lisez la suite

"Great location and friendly staff"
This BIG hotel is very near a tube station, has friendly staff, room was clean and fairly quiet, and basically I had no complaints other than Wi-F in the rooms was not working while we were there.

"Holiday Inn London - Kensington Forum"
Excellent location, good value for London, 2 mins from Natural History and V&A Museum's. Early check in - arrived at 9.30am!!!. Great room, clean, well equipped and late check out. Only negative was that the water was warm and not hot.
"Holiday Inn London-Kensington Forum"
This is definitely a 4-star hotel. Our room was a bit small, but nicely appointed: king-size bed, flat screen TV, a sofa and a shower. This was better than any Holiday Inn I've ever stayed in. Two highlights: for $10/night we received a full, hot breakfast in their large breakfast room and their concierge staff were very helpful. The hotel is a block […] away from the Gloucester Road tube station and is a 7-minute walk from the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. We would definitely stay there again. Lisez la suite
"Holiday Inn Kensington"
The hotel is nice and modern, clean and well presented. The rooms are small although very nice and recently refurbished with very comfy beds. Well located hotel, 2 mins from tube station. However I booked us a king size room via hotels.com, but when we arrived at the hotel they were going to put is in a standard english double bed (4' 6"). In the end […] they upgraded us to an "executive" queen room and we were able to move to a king room on the 2nd night. I booked this hotel as it was one of the few offering king size beds, so it was very annoying to get there and find that they only have king beds in their suites. They also wanted to charge a lot for using internet, there was no free wireless not even in the lobbey. At GBP 10 per day i thought it was too expensive. Lisez la suite
