All is Good except the bed . it's high time the hotel change the beds , both the twin single bed had a indent in the middle of the bed. I'm staying at room 1615.

Generally Hotel is Good except a bit slow at the reception as we booked online. For food we give a 6.5 for food and 9 for Service and Caption Was Very Helpful (on 2/12/11,at 8.30AM) Well Done

I think the service has deteriorated compared to my previous stays. The waiters could not understand simple orders/queries, the breakfast was not as good, the check-in was slow (understaffed) and the car park lift was out-of-order. But still I will go back to this hotel for my next trip due to its good location and good room quality

The hotel staff are very helpful, right from the reception, to the room service, to the restaurant staff at the morning breakfast area. The stay was very pleasant, and the staff made us feel very at home.

Hotel was very comfortable, clean and the room very nice. Hotel staff were very helpful, the only slight disappointment was the breakfast. No tables were made up when we went down for breakfast and alot of food had gone. But overall, our stay here was very pleasant. Thank you!

for what we paid for, we should not complain too much. generally, it is comfortable, although facilities are a bit dated, and need to be "refreshed". i chose the word "refreshed" is because instead of going for the "modern" look that is so common with newer hotels in the region, it should seek to retain some of its old charm, especially in a city like […] Malacca. "happening" places like Jonker Street & Jalan Melaka Raya are 15 mins walking distance away, so convenience is considered as so-so. food-wise, we tried (1) Bibik Neo & Oleh Sayang - both are good but i would prefer the service at Bibik Neo (2) chicken rice ball at Hoe Kee in Jonker Street - good and worth the queue (3) Jonker_88 for chendol - good stuff too but be prepared to queue and get a table. Hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk to old town. If you want a hotel right in the middle of old town then this is not the one to pick as there are quite a few right in the centre . Good hotel with friendly staff and food is good as well

We chose this hotel because we saw it was ranked highly on a number of travel sites. What a disappointment. While the common areas were fine, our room was old and felt very unclean.... We travelled with our 15 month old daughter and did not feel comfortable giving her a bath there as we were not sure how clean the bathroom was. The bed was also very […] uncomfortable- we saw that there were two comforters on top of the mattress (under the sheets) which made the bed feel very lumpy. Thankfully, we only spent one night there. In addition, the hotel was taking part in an initiative called "60 minutes earth" and for one hour in the evening there was no electricity in the rooms or the rest of the hotel- which made showering our little girl to get her ready for bed very difficult. We were given no warning that this was scheduled to happen when we made our booking or when we checked in that day! The one positive thing I can say is that the staff were very friendly and nice. A few minutes walk to the historic centre Very good service and comfortable, spacious room. Book a club room and get free cocktails and nibbles. Excellent self serve bar and limited nibbles but a bargain deal. Valet parking only 10 RM Breakfast range of food was vast - mixture of Western and Oriental food but the cold meats looked a bit tired. We were pleased with our stay at the Renaissance. The room set up was a surprise as there were no lounge chairs in the lounge but instead 2 single beds. This was ideal for us as we were travelling with two children and spent very little time in the room. The service and food were fabulous. Don't expect 5 star decor but very clean and tidy.

Comfortable stay, rooms nicely furnished and clean. Enjoyed the pool on the 9th floor rooftop. Staff very attentive. Outside of the hotel needs a bit of a cleanup and windows could definitely do with a clean. All in all a great hotel for the price.

The hotel situated at city and quiet street, very good for guest and it looked safety at the surrouding. Taxi fare is on bargin basis, normally charged 15 RM, I met one taxi driver (parked at the emptied coffee shop, junction of the left side of the hotel ) asked for 60 Rm from hotel to Dataran Pahlawan Shopping and I just walked again with bargin with […] him. Place of interest at Heritage area like St. Peter's Church and A' Famosa etc. are good to visit. Famous chendol drink next to Malacca River is a Landmark. I enjoyed Peranakan food as it tasted really good. New shopping mall like Jusco is not in the map provided by hotel, its adjacent Tesco is old but still attractive. Dataran Pahlawan is a good place to shop, comprised a lot of varieties. Night market at Jonker Street is nice with senior citizens singing on stage and clans. It is still grounds for tourists promotion board to explore these culture, transport, food and local products to be more attractive and welcome a lot of visitors to come. Lisez la suite

If you can't get into a local hotel with character and you can get a decent deal through the website it provides an acceptable and predictable experience. Food and drink is very expensive for the area though breakfast (which was included in our deal) was excellent. Within reasonable walking distance of the key tourist sights.

Lovely 4/5 star hotel at a very reasonable price in good location. Cold swimming pool, good restaurants but expensive.

最近、マラッカには新しいホテルが増えつつあります。その中でルネッサンスマラッカホテルは、質とその価格において非常に安定した地位にあると思います。コストパフォーマンスを考えれば非常におすすめできるホテルです。近所においしいホーカーや屋台、リバーがあるのも高得点です。

與家人出遊，住宿雙人雙床客房。客房舒適、寧靜。可以看到麻六甲河的夜景，景色很不錯。早餐豐盛，種類多，吧檯的自選縣打果汁很棒。僅是一區的水果上有小果蠅在飛，仍須注意。

Our room was far from the expected standard compared to the price! It looked old fasionhed and dirty! A rotten towel was left in the closet underneath the sink, wich gave our bathroom a nasty smell. The aircon was noisy and the bed uncomfortable. Way to expensive and surrounded by an uncharmful area. Must be several better options in Melaka to a better […] price!
