"The Sutton Place: It doesn't get much better"
The personnel were courteous and helpful. The restaurant had fine ambiance and excellent food. The room was neat, clean and tastefully decorated. Located in the center of Vancouver virtually everything was within walking distance. Overall, a delightful 3 day stay.

"Christmas Stay for Visiting"
Hotel is well located. We have stayed at the Sutton over the yeas and are pleased that it is still well maintained and continues to offer a high level of personal service. People knew our names and treated us very personally.

"The Sutton Place Hotel"
This hotel is fabulous! We wanted to be able to spend a night downtown, park the car, and not have to use it until we went home. If that is what you want this is your hotel. Located pretty much on the corner of Robson and Burrard you really can't go wrong. Shopping, great food, and night life all around! The hotel was absolutely wonderful too. Very […] helpful and polite staff. Room was exactly as expected. Hotel facilities were wonderful. Ordered room service for breakfast the next morning, and while it is expensive, the food was great! But really, what more do you expect when you are staying in a hotel such as this one! Honestly though, if you don't mind spend a bit more, and would like a night of royalty (or a week) pick this hotel! Lisez la suite
"Sutton Place Hotel - Vancouver"
I had a fantastic stay at the Sutton Place Hotel. The staff were courteous and prompt. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! I had a great view of the city and will definitely come back to stay again. I also had an amazing massage at the Vida spa which is located in the hotel.
"Low quality"
Broken TV was never fixed. Internet, free at Starbucks, cost $20/day, and they block content (like YouTube). For such a posh hotel, it was surprisingly low in quality of service.
"Perfect in Every Way"
Excellent in every respect. Friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable bed. Ideal location for downtown Vancouver. We will be back!!

"Fabulous downtown vancouver hotel"
Great hotel, close to all the downtown shopping. Wonderful staff, so friendly and nice. They have heated swimming pool and hot tub. The swimming pool wasn't as large as I thought, but still nice. There's a supermarket on the next block so don't worry about eating from the expensive minibar. I would definitely come here again.
"Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver - great location"
Just before Christmas we stayed for 2 nights at the Sutton Place and loved it. The hotel staff were more than pleasant, the hotel had an air of luxury and the location was superb being so close to Robson St. The rooms were nicely appointed except for the very slippery cover on the bed. We spent most of the night picking it from floor. A change of fabric […] is a suggestion or just a small coverlet at the end of the bed with the duvet cover wrapped in two sheets as is done in many hotels might work better. We would definitely stay here again. Lisez la suite

"Unhappy"
I have stayed at the sutton hotel before but this recent stay was a bad experience. I flew in from Asia, was jet lagged and needed sleep badly. However the air con was very noisy, and the curtains DId not block out the daylight at the 2 ends where it meets the corner walls. As a result, I was not sleeping well. On my last day there, I had beef tenderloin […] room service and then had diarrhea shortly after that. Not sure if it's the food but I had eaten nothing else other than that, and my stomach problems started shortly after that meal. I won't stay here again. Lisez la suite
"Excellent Vancouver Hotel"
Great location, amazing staff and beautiful rooms. The Sutton is one of the best places to stay in Vancouver, BC. I can't say one thing negative about it.
"The Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver, B.C."
The location is fabulous and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. My favourite hotel in Vancouver!
"Sutton Place Vancouver BC"
We have stayed at this location several times, I have complained about the noise of the elevator in my room on at least two occasions. I found the pillows on the bed to soft. We do like the Hotel and it's location. The staff are very helpful and polite
"Sutton Hotel - fantastic hotel with great staff"
We booked this hotel with some expectations after reading the reviews on hotels.com. We were greeted wtih far more than expected, with good initiatives of the front office when we arrived (much much earlier), and room and helpful staff. This is indeed a great hotel to stay, and it's our pleasure to highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking […] for accommodations in Vancouver! Lisez la suite
"Close to all the good shopping..."
The Sutton Place Hotel is very nice. However, our room service was rather slow the first night as our room was not cleaned by 5pm. I had to call to make sure it was going to happen. Luckily we had plans for the evening. We also noticed that the robes that are placed in the closet for us to use were not there. Normally, this isn't a problem for us, […] but the shower leaked quite a bit (*probably* our fault, but we're not 100% sure) and soaked some pjs. A robe would have been nice to have at that point. Finally, there was no extra blanket in the closet for us to use.Being that the bedding was rather light for winter-time, having one that's readily available would have been nice. Not a big deal as calling down to the front desk took care of the problem rather quickly. On the positive side, the room was clean and nice and the the concierge service was excellent. Lisez la suite
"Sutton Hotel Vancouver"
Great stay room was upgraded to a suite which was wonderful .Would recommend to others
"Lovely stay"
Sutton Place was a terrific place to stay. The room and hotel was lovely and the staff helpful. It's an active and lively part of town so getting good food and getting out around Vancouver was easy. The amentiies that a business travelor look for...free internet and such, were expensive but that was my only complaint.

"Excellent hotel..."
I recently stayed at the Sutton Place Hotel for a holiday getaway with my spouse. It was a very nice European style hotel and centrally located. We would stay there again.
"Sutton Place in Vancouver"
Sutton Place is just one block from Robson Street, the main shopping street in downtown Vancouver, and within easy walking distance of many other Vancouver attractions. Taxis are immediately available for traveling to other areas of the city. The only downside is that if you drive to Vancouver, parking at the hotel is a whopping 29.50/d and wi-fi internet […] access is 15/day. Lisez la suite
"Sutton Place in Vancouver BC"
Breakfast in the Fleuri Restaurant was very disappointing. My omelet was overcooked and the potato 'slab' put on our plates was unappetizing.
"Sutton Place -- Beautiful but expensive!!"
Why is it that they charge $40 for parking (PLUS tip) & $20 for internet when all other hotels do not charge... These are the times when you need to look around and find out the extra hidden costs... That's all I have to say!!

"The Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver"
My best friend and I have an annual 'girls weekend' in Vancouver and do all our Christmas shopping together. This year we stayed at the Sutton Place Hotel, and we were so happy with the accomodations, the location, and the friendliness of all of the staff! We would definitely stay there again, and have no problem recommending The Sutton Place to all […] our friends! Lisez la suite
"Wonderful Stay"
We had a wonderful time at the Sutton Place - attention to detail was amazing and the hotel itself was beautifully kept with friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel highly.
Beautiful hotel, perfect location, excellent staff ,and got an awesome 50% discount The only negative was parking was very expensive, but valet service is available at no extra charge.

"A bit disappointing"
Room was not stocked with coffee, tea, etc. For a hotel which markets itself as an upscale hotel, it was a little unimpressive. Free internet was not offered as it is in competitive locations, 2 blocks north. News papers offered were not delivered.
"Sutton Place Vancouver B.C."
Fabulous stay. Everything you want. Great staff and service.
"Vancouver, BC - Nicest/Most Beautiful City I know"
I had to stay there at least one because I share the same name. It was nice.
"Sutton Place Hotel - nice spot, but isn't all that"
I stayed four nights at the Sutton Place hotel after reading reviews and ratings. The mid-week stay was for a leisure trip in Vancouver. The GOOD: convenient location, very clean hotel, 4+ star rating, bedding was elegant and very comfortable. The NOT-SO-GOOD: parking fees were steep when compared to similar hotels in the area ($40/day), WiFi charges […] pricey if not part of your booking arrangements ($16 day for regular speed, ~$20 day for high speed internet). "the annual spot"
I have stayed here every year for about 8 years now...and have always been more than pleased. A little bit of Europe just a short hop from L.A.
"great hotel"
Beautiful room and exceptional service
"Sutton Place"
Excellent location by Robson and Vancouver Art Gallery. Comfortable rooms with every needed amenity. Very helpful and personable staff. Parking expensive but this is downtown Vancouver. Object to paying for internet - should be included in the room rate. Would recommend this hotel.
"Sutton Place Vancouver"
My sister and I stayed at Sutton Place in downtown Vancouver for the weekend. As usual everything was wonderful at the Hotel. Our rooms were clean and quiet, and conveniently located to all the good shopping. We were very satisfied, and would stay there the next time.

"Nice But Noisy"
Very nice hotel with excellent service but it must be close to a fire station we heard sirens all night long so bring some ear plugs!!
"Sutton Place On Sale- Good Value"
This is an expensive hotel, that was on sale, so we stayed there. We had to be at meetings near the convention center, and this was about eight blocks away walking distance. The hotel is kept up nicely, but the staff is looking for tips almost continuously. Restaurant at hotel is pricey. Room was small, but clean, and we had a nice view out on Burrard […] Street from the 12th floor. I might stay there again, at the right price. It was nice, but I would not stay there at full price. "Best service we've ever seen!"
My wife and I stayed for 5 nights for our vacation in Vancouver. This hotel has a lot to like. It's centrally located in downtown Vancouver w/ great restaurants, subway and bus stops, etc. It has very adequate amenities like a safe and frig in the room, pool and Jacuzzi, coin operated laundry room, restaurant, and gift shop. Most importantly, it was […] very clean, and the service was amazing. We've been to plenty of nice hotels, but the employees at The Sutton Place were the nicest, most prompt, courteous and helpful ones we've ever met! For instance, I had accidently and unknowingly turned off our room safe so it wouldn't lock. I called the front desk and asked if someone could fix the issue before we left for breakfast. We assumed we'd have to wait at least a few minutes before anyone would come by. Were we wrong! It's not an exaggeration to say that only about 30 SECONDS after I hung up the phone for the service, a friendly hotel employee knocked on our door and had the problem fixed in a matter of a few more seconds! We will absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Vancouver! Lisez la suite
