Très bon hôtel, bien placé en ville mais si vous logez à 5 personnes, lits trop petits pour 3 personnes.

Just spent five nights with my husband and toddler. They upgraded us to a suite for a minimal charge and it was terrific. Clean, spacious, quiet, convenient - and we didn't have to sit in a dark hotel room after 8 pm! Highly recommended.

Liked the room but felt misled on location - long walk to Chinatown or anything interesting (true of Vancouver generally). We were there in a heatwave. Breakfast overstaffed, expensive and muddled. Bar and light meals were fine.

Had a great time and the hotel is centrally located. Staff very helpful especially Paulo who went out of his way everytime we had any questions. Very polite in spite of one of the times he was dealing with a upset guest and he was polite at all times. Joshua was also very helpful. Thanks to them my daughter and I had a great time.

I've stayed at many excellent hotels in Vancouver and by far the service here was the best! As a woman traveling alone I was offered a room on a women's only floor which has extra amenities (yoga space, Aveda products, women's magazines, etc.) I completely enjoyed my stay. Alex and Dan were wonderful front desk staff!!!

Our stay at the Georgian Court Hotel was fabulous! The staff were friendly and courteous. We had dinner in the Bistro before the Van Morrison Concert. It was a short walk to the concert venue and we met many very nice people on the way there and on the way back. We felt safe even though the hour was late. We ended our evening in the Beatty Street Pub, where again, the staff were friendly, fun and courteous. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

Hotel is aging but styled well. I was impressed at how close to the Robson shopping corridor it was. The room was quiet and very comfortable. More importantly it was quiet despite construction going on across the street from us.

I was in Vancouver for a business trip and I had great pleasurable time as well. The location is amazing, close to great restaurants. Me and my coworker that stayed at the hotel actually rented a car, a convertible, but did not even take it for a ride around town b/c the weather was amazing to take nice walk down to Yaletown, Beach Street, Chinatown, Gastown, etc. We toured the whole surrounding of Vancouver on foot. I stayed in a suite which was the best part of my trip. If I wasn't there for work, I would have just stay in my room. The only negative thing to comment on about the hotel is the wireless internet. Manageable, but not the best. I cannot wait to come back!

I was disappointed that the building was on the older side, and the rooms, furniture, and styling hadn't been updated in several years. The place seems to need a renovation. Also, if you're looking for a hotel with good Internet connection, don't go here. The high-speed Internet was literally slower than dial-up in most parts of the hotel, and many times it didn't work at all.

this hotel is perfectly situated for both sporting events and shopping. Close enough to downtown shops to walk and yet on a fairly quiet downtown street. Being a smallish boutique hotel, it is not overwhelming in the lobby to get service. Adjoining restaurant is one of the best in Vancouver. We enjoyed our stay very much and will continue to stay at this hotel as the rate is extremely low for value.

I had a great experience at the Georgian Court Hotel. The staff was friendly and always answered our questions no matter how odd (I called late one night to ask if the bottled water in our room was complimentary... and yes, it was. Two bottles each day, no charge). They had all the amenities any travel could want. Hairdryer in the bathroom, Aveda products, iron with ironing board, flat screen tv and plenty of outlets (although there were none near the beds). The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. By far some of the most comfortable nights sleep in a hotel. They had a business center available for all guests with free internet and free printing. I didn't think hotels knew what free was anymore. The location of the hotel is on the end of Robson Street, which is the most trendy part of downtown. So everything was within walking distance, which was a plus. It's also within a 5 block walking distance to the SkyTrain, which is used to get to and from the Vancouver Airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family the next time they decide to visit Vancouver.

As a person who reads every review ever written, I must say this hotel met all of my expectations. When we checked in the staff was beyond helpful as well as friendly. Our room was quite large, had a king bed, couch, desk and there was still plenty of room to get around. The only issue I found was that the cleaning staff left us an open bottle of water, but I would still stay there again.

I spent 4 nights at the Georgian Court in Vancouver in May 2010. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. The hotel is clean and has all the necessary facilities for a short stay. I did not get a chance to use the restaurant, but it looked very nice. I recommend the hotel as a great venue at a good price.

From the get go this hotel was way above average. Only a $7 cab rode from the cruise terminal, we were met with most friendly and genuinely helpful staff. The rooms were extremely spacious and nicely furnished. Bathrooms very up to date and more than adequate. Literally just across the road from the Canucks' Stadium where the tour guides pointed out several times the US went down to defeat in the Olympics. Unfortunately no events were on while we were there but the Georgian Court must be the closest hotel to the stadium if you're a hockey fan. Stayed four nights (for the price of three which made it exceptional value) and enjoyed every night. Broadband very good - business centre very useful. (Used it to print off BA boarding passes so we could make use of BA 24hr check in - proved to be invaluable as our flights were arranged at short notice by BA because of the strike.) Didn't use the restaurant which has a good reputation. Did have one meal in the bistro which was good but not memorable (steak and salad - around $CAN 65 for 2 including tip - no drinks or dessert ) All in all, a very nice hotel and recommended without hesitation.

The hotel was undergoing renovation for the upcoming Olympics, and so all of the public areas were pretty messy and unappealing. Our room was OK, but had a lousy view of a parking lot. Staff were friendly but not overly helpful. We walked around the surrounding area (looking for a place to have dinner) and stopped in the lobby of another nearby hotel, and their concierge was more than happy to provide information about the area that we couldn't squeeze out of the staff at the Georgian Court. We found that we could have booked a room at an all suite hotel nearby for much less than we paid at the Georgian Court.
