Nous avons choisi cet hotel en famille pour pouvoir profiter de la magnifique piscine présentée en photo sur le site ,or il n'était nul part précisé qu'elle n'ouvrait que l'été .L'hotel est à 15 minutes à pied du métro !!!A part ces désagréménts le reste était très bien

PN de la guadeloupe hotel bien situé, très propre(moi qui suis une maniaque), navette prévue à l'hotel pour le centre l'après midi et pour le vatican le matin. en 5 jours et 4 n, nous avons tout visité comme monument important. les transports 1 euro par trajet valable 75 mn en bus et métro(métro et bus sont faciles et organisés jusqu'à 0 h). De la gare […] termini situé au centre de rome, vous avez accès à toutes les artères de Rome mais il faut oser. l'hotel a une superbe piscine pour faire des longueurs mais savoir nager car 1,50 à 3,50 m de profondeur et un peu froide pour les habitués aux eaux de 28°c. un petit bassin pour les enfants en bas âge .SPA et piscine intérieure OK close du 1 au 7/08 et début mai. restaurant correct, buffet midi et soir,accessible mais les plats ne changent pas trop mais vous avez des choix multiples en ville à 10 min en bus 98 et 881 passant devant l'hotel. buffet petit dej bien mais un peu/pers. resto self service à éviter prêt du vatican devant l'arrêt des "bus tour", plats dégueux et note salée et paiement cash,pas de carte de crédit. bon plan: centre commercial EUR ROMA 2(la défense en plus grandiose bon plan).bus 881 arret cavallegrini, puis 571 allez a collesseo puis prendre metro collesseo ligne A, via laurentina, descendre à eur fermi et face à la sortie prendre bus 70 ou 700 ou 709 et descendre à colombo le centre commercial est à droite. tout est sur place. il y a un hotel"colombo" tout prêt. d'accéder à la piscine intérieure : c'est frustrant. Le petit déjeuner s'il n'est pas inclus dans le forfait est relativement cher 18 € par adulte et 8€ pour les enfants. En outre, il faut rajouter les taxes de séjour soit 3€ par personne par jour. very nice hotel. clean rooms with huge comfy beds. great restaurants within walking distance, just ask the very helpful hotel staff. Hotel restaurant leaves a little to be desired. The food was at best warm and not very good. Taxi to the vatican or old Rome for about 20 euros, bus service for 1.5 euros. 20 minutes to 1/2 hour walking. Lovely Hotel, it is a bit out of the central Rome. We chose it because of the day spa facilities, however we found them not as relaxing as we had hoped for. For a four star hotel we expected more. The room was hot when we entered and trying to adjust the thermostat did nothing. The air, heat unit only gave off heat. The patio door to outside wouldn't lock, but that didn't matter, because we left it open to cool the room. My wife and I visited in early November 2012 with another couple.. This hotel is definitely NOT worth the money. I cannot imagine a family staying in this hotel. Restaurants are very expensive and there is no alternative within walking distance. It was less expensive (with better food) to take a taxi round trip to the St. Peter's Square area to eat. […] House keeping was poor. It was necessary to ask for wash cloths. We left our used towels and wash cloths on the floor so that housekeeping would replace them, but we found that they would sometimes hang them back on the towel racks for us to reuse. We were provided with plastic cups for use in the bathroom, but the cups were not replaced daily. There was no air conditioning in the hotel because "it is no longer summer". We slept with the balcony door open to cool the room at night. Shuttle schedule is limited - both to the airport and to St Peter's Square. We found that a Taxi ride to the airport was a better value. We chose this hotel because we wanted a family friendly and safe experience in Rome. It is a little way out of the city centre but is easily accessed from the ring road and has a large car park. We were disappointed that our children were not allowed at any time to use the swimming pool. As a result, we were not able to access the spa facilities. Breakfast was fine with a range of items available, but a bit Americanised, so it we didn't get to sample local products. This hotel is OK but quite expensive. I was disappointed with the staff because we had trouble finding the hotel, the first time I rang from our car a member of staff was helpful with directions. We were put to smoking room. Didnt want one. Then the room had water coming in from the bathroom above us. Great! Hot tub was cold... Had to wear a shower cap its the rules and you feel like a fool wearing it.

Lovely hotel clean and friendly. Breakfast you had a lot to choice. Although the evening meals or snacks were expensive. There is a resturant just outside the hotel which was cheaper. Bus stop outside the hotel as well. there is a bus service at the hotel set at different times for 1 euro per person. Quite a good hotel, with good facilities. Drinks etc a bit on the expensive side but to be expected in Rome. Restaurant menu was disappointing and a somewhat confusing if ordering from the buffet menu. Slightly musty smell in the corridors and room cleanliness could be a bit better. Great outdoor pool area which perhaps could do with a few more sunbeds, […] but a real plus after you have done one of the many tours of Rome in the heat. This is a good hotel with some good facilities. It is a little far from the city centre but the shuttle service is fine- although the last one from town back to the hotel is very early - 9.15. the hotel was far from everything but has convenient cheap shuttle to st. Peter and city centre. there is also a bus stop right in front of it to take you to the nearest metro station, neighbourhood shops or st. Peter.Not for people who cram Rome into 1-2 days. At least take 4-5 days.

Greeted by welcoming front desk staff who was very accomodating to let us check in 3 hours early; and she gave us a nice room overlooking the beautifully landscaped pool area. We really enjoyed our stay here. Even though it is about 20 minutes away from the heart of the city, we found the hotel's shuttle bus to work out well for us and never had a problem getting to and from central points in Rome. We were originally looking for a hotel in or near the city center, but found a great rate for Crowne Plaza and decided to book it. So glad we did! My friend and I were so pleased with our stay, from the second we walked in the lobby until we took the shuttle to the airport on our last day. The hotel was immaculate and fairly modern, and every employee […] was friendly, courteous, and as helpful as possible. We didn't get to take advantage of the restaurants and spa, but we did spend an afternoon lounging by the pool and enjoyed a few cappucino's at the hotel bar. I'm not sure what other hotels are like in Rome, because this is the only one I've stayed at. The decor was modern, yet many things were worn out like the carpets and furnishings. Many surfaces, like the granite in the bathroom, and the reception counters were grimy. However, the bedsheets, towels, and robes in my room were plush and clean. The in-room […] entertainment (including local TV) costs extra. I don't recommend the in-room internet, unless you have your own laptop. It's really slow and hard-to-use. You have to get a bus or taxi to go to any shops, cafes or sights. The staff were very friendly, accomodating and most spoke English. Shuttle service (or taxis) are required to get 'anywhere' off the hotel property, as it is located in a little bit of a cut-off walled suburb outside of the busier Rome areas.
