Really nice place to stay, very conveniently located for both tourism and business stays Rooms are quite spacious. Furniture is a little old but still very comfortable....

Bon emplacement. Personnel très sympathique. Hôtel près des stations de métro. Beaucoup de restaurants et d'autres commodités (cafés, marché, banques) dans les environs. Chambres très confortables et calmes. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Far from the center of Washington DC but a free shuttle is provided every 30 mins and take to the closest subway station.

Le centre-ville de Washington regorge de sites culturels. Le complexe du musée Smithsonian Institution voisine le parc National Mall. Cet hôtel n'est pas digne d'un hôtel de qualité. Des travaux dans les chambres du dessus nous ont réveillé à 7 heures du matin et les wake up call sont effectués par le housekeeping qui frappe super fort sur les portes des clients. Du coup tout monde est réveillé ! Le téléphone exitste non ? En plus nous venons de France et il n'y a même pas d'adaptateur […] de prise proposé dans les chambres. On nous a dit d'aller en acheter un au coin de la rue alors que tous les autres hôtels en ont dans les chambres. Bref, je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel vieillot et sans classe. "Hotel central."
Très bien placé. A la sortie de la station Metro Center qui comme son nom l'indique est au centre de Washington. Un conseil ne pas prendre l'option petit déjeuner inclus car en dehors des we il n'y a pas de buffet et la formule doit être discutée âprement, pour nous avec succès, à chaque reprise.Avis véridique Expedia

"Excellent Hotel, watchout for extras"
This hotel is an excellent place to stay. It is close to the national mall, Whitehouse, Ford's Theater, and the American History Museum. The Hop-on Hop-off bus tour starts in front of the hotel. One of 2 major metro stations for DC is less than 50 yards from the from door. The room was very comfortable and the fitness center is well equipped and the […] pool has long hours. The only complaint about the room was my laptop wouldn't fit in the safe. There is valet parking which was expensive and somewhat inconvenient, about twice what it said in the hotels.com information. We got a room with breakfast included and it was an outstanding breakfast. But be aware that breakfast included only includes 2 adults, even if you have a room for 4. We paid for our 17 yo and our 10 year old was free. We saw many people complain about this because breakfast is not cheap and puts you in a dilema if you've paid for 2 and still have 2 more to pay for. Nice place maybe a little over priced, it was a college graduation weekend so they had us. My brother and sister are in from all parts of the world, sis sprains ankle hotel staff comes up with a wheel chair to safe evening. Location allowed us lots of things to do.Avis véridique Hotels.com

Room was beautiful and super clean! Location was great! Beware-if you use a debit card, this hotel will "hold" funds from your banking account for almost 10 days! The amount may not be much, but still it is inconvenient. "Nice Hotel - great shopping close by"
My stay was great. My room didn't get really cold but it was comfortable. The view from my window was great. I got to see the President's motorcad pass by and that was exciting. The available places to shop were excellent and it was only a 3 1/2 block walk to see the White House!!! What else could you expect. I booked the Washington Marriott for a Bachelorette Party weekend and I was not dissappointed!!! This hotel is conveniently located to EVERYTHING so we were only a short cab ride away from all the restaurants and clubs that we planned on visiting. The staff was super friendly. The hotel room was extremely clean and comfortable.The only negative was […] the expensive cost of valet. This hotel ONLY has valet....there is not a cheaper option for parking your car. At $45 a day this can add up....but honestly I learned that parking is expensive just about everywhere in Washington DC so I believe this to be the going rate for most hotels in the area. Short and skinny of it...great service and staff! The location is also close enough to walk to the monument and museums. We paid around $300 a night, that is with the taxes and about $45 for 24 hr parking. Heads up, there is no microwave or fridge in the room; I at least expected a fridge. "Really disappointing...."
I bought this hotel package for some loved ones. Upon their arrival at 10:30 PM after a long day of travel, the record of payment through Expedia (since this was bought as a package) was not on file. Because the hotel refused to call Expedia for them, they called me to assist them. I spoke to the hotel directly and the night desk clerk was less than […] helpful and was refusing them their room even though he could see the reservation. While I was on the phone in another city speaking with Expedia who in less than 10 minutes had cleared up the problem, the hotel required that they pay for the room on their credit card in order to be checked in. They then had to call their credit card company to have the charges reversed once the matter was resolved. Additionally, when they missed the last tour bus back to the hotel, the hotel offered to pick them up, which would have been a redeeming service; however, after sitting in 22 degree weather for half an hour waiting they chose to walk the 7-8 blocks back to the hotel. I'm very careful to not post negative comments about places because everyone can have an off day; however, if you are looking for a hotel that cares, this is not it, particulary their night staff. Good location. Walking distance from museums, restaurants and the Metro. One disappointment though was the room given to us. I specifically booked for a room with a king-sized bed and got confirmation on this via email. However, when we arrived we were placed in a room with 2 double- sized beds. I asked the front desk person if we can be transferred […] but said there's no available room with a king-sized bed for that night even if I got a prior confirmation of my reservation. "An OK hotel......."
The hotel was just ok. My family members stayed around the corner at the Hyatt.....which was only 99 bucks a night, ALOT nicer and offered much more...plus had there own private entry to the Metro without ever leaving. This hotel was great. The check in was fast and easy. I was given a room on the 15th floor, 1503. Room did not have a great view but that was ok. The bed was wonderful, restroom was nice and big. There was a refrigerator in the room that I used for left overs. They provided me with a small bottle of water which was nice. The room had a couch and ottoman. […] The hotel is close to everything and there is a metro entrance right in front of the hotel that takes you to all tourist destinations. The white house is about 4-5 blocks away and also very close to the washington monument and smithsonians. The restaurant in the hotel was very tasty and reasonably priced. Travel about 60 nites/year much into DC and always try and book a room here. This property has always exhibited friendly, helpful staff, and very clean and quiet rooms. Front door is located within 100 yards of the Metro Center subway exit. Easy walking distance to many of the attractions near the White House.
