Hotel classique au niveau des chambres. Parking assez grand. Bon avantage sur le placement à 2 minutes à pied du métro et à 5 minutes en voiture d'Hollywood Signs, des étoiles d'Hollywood Blvd, 15 minutes d'Universal Studios, de Sunset Strip, 30 minutes sans bouchon de Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Méfiance tout de même dans le secteur de l'hotel à la tombée de la nuit mais c'est pas non plus Bagdad...

Nous sommes arrivés tard et nous avons été très bien accueillis. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et très bien équipée. Vous pouvez demander de la vaisselle à la réception. Le petit-déjeuner est complet et varié. On a même eu le droit à la navette gratuite pour nous rendre à l'agence de location à côté de l'aéroport..... Great !! C'est vrai que le coin n'est pas top, mais il y deux trois endroits pour se restaurer à proximité et nous n'avons pas rencontré de problème particulier. Je recommande cet hôtel

Hotel bien situe dans un quartier bien agreable, sur Colorado Bld, juste en face du Pasadena City College et non loin du CalTech et du Huntington Gardens. Il peut sembler eloigner du Old Pasadena, mais en voiture (indispensable a LA) et sachant que le parking est gratuit de 08:00 a 11:00 tous les matins, c'est facile de s'y rendre. De cet endroit, on peut aisement se rendre a Downtown LA, au Griffith Park et au Dodger Stadium. En ce qui concerne l'hotel en lui-meme, il s'agit d'un motel tout confort (ils ont change tous les televiseurs pendant mon sejour par des ecrans plats), avec en plus, de petits elements de decorations faisant penser a un B&B. De meme le petit dejeuner sans etre copieux et dans un espace un peu limite est plein de petites charmes. Et avec tout ca, le prix est plus qu'attractif. A conseiller fortement sans hesiter.
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.

Contrat respecté, mais un bémol sur la situation de la chambre à l'extremité du couloir à la porte d'accés du parking exterieur. Autrement trés bien et bon acceuil.
Hotel staff was very pleasant and willing to please. There was a small oversight when I checked in as the carpet in my room had just finished being steam cleaned. The manager was very helpful, moving me to an upgraded room and offering me $20 for breakfast the next morning.
It was great only thing was they were doing work in other rooms banging early in morning
So glad you enjoyed your stay. We are starting the process of some upgrades and renovations, but we are making every attempt to ensure the noise is limited to day-time hours when most guests are away from the hotel.

"Free Breakfast"
Free breakfast/kids eat free is a false lead on. I always pick hotels that offer free breakfast for convienence and value, so that is one of the reasons I picked this hotel. $35 dollars was the cost of the free breakfast, When I iinquired about the free breekfast, I was told it was only a $20 value. So my bad, I will not be staying here again.
We apologize that there was any confusion as to our breakfast offerings and that the confusion negatively impacted your stay with us. Let us please clarify. Kids under 12 eat for free (with a paying adult). That is a standard across all Holiday Inn's - and you can definitely count on that consistently. Though our standard rates do not include breakfast, we do offer Breakfast Inclusive Rates/Packages that include a $20 Voucher for breakfast for up to 2 persons. Typically, that $20 voucher will cover costs for up to 2 persons at our restaurant. Anything above the $20 (ie for additional persons) is an additional cost. We hope that clarifies our two breakfat offers -- Kids Eat Free.. and our Breakfast Package with the $20 Breakfast voucher.

Please know that your experience at our hotel was not the norm and definitely not up to our standard. We do understand, especially when travelling with family, it’s important to have a very clean and comfortable environment. We do ask that if guests have any concerns during their stay, that they let us know so that we can make it right before they leave. Our goal for all guests is to have an exceptional experience, from services, to guestrooms and amenities and of course a high level of cleanliness.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and didn't try to hurry me along. Ate dinner at the restaurant. Got the salmon and it was so tasty! when I checked out, I asked about a taxi and the bell hop insisted on taking me to my destination in the hotel van free of charge! Made my wait so much shorter! Enjoyed my stay at this hotel for one night. It was close to Knotts which was my main reason for going. The only problem in the room was the shower, there wasn't much water coming out of the faucet, but other than that the stay was perfect. I would definitely choose this hotel for future getaways.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quietness of this hotel eventhough it was right off a very busy freeway exit. The hotel is clean and has a very nice atmosphere including the pool area and the gym. Thank you Holiday Inn

My wifes shoes and charger were missing when we returned the next day. we stayed two nights.

I stayed here one night for business and I will most likely be back when in the area (if rates are similar to what I received). Lobby was clean, hotel was in pretty good shape, rooms were OK. Nice TV, restaurant and bar were actually pretty good. This is a pretty decent hotel for the price. Carpets had some stains, beds were a little worn, office […] furniture was not very comfortable for an extended working session. But I didn't expect a 4 star hotel for what I paid. I'd stay here again. MAKE SURE TO REQUEST A ROOM ON THE SIDE OF THE HOTEL FACING AWAY FROM THE FREEWAY. I did not at first, walked into my room, turned around, went to the lobby and changed it. Hotel was fine . Only major complaint was they charged my credit card for a full nights stay and 50 dollars for incidentals . I had prepaid through hotels.com . I took 2 weeks for them to fix the problem and release the funds after many phone calls..

parking is the only issue here. If you get in after 800 pm, plan on parking in the dark rear pk lots.

We do have free parking available, both in the front, sides and back of the hotel with space enough to accommodate not only hotel guests but also those attending meetings and conferences. Also note that we have a free shuttle that runs to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and locations within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Many guests prefer to park their car and leave it at the hotel, taking the shuttle, making it inexpensive, convenient and easy to get where you need to go.

Good proximity to Knotts and Disney with free shuttle. Front desk staff was indifferent and not exactly accomodating. We stayed just before xmas on 4th floor and the noise from adjoining rooms was borderline intolerable. Doors seemed to be slamming at all hours of the night. Not a restful night sleep to say the least.
Very well maintained. Location for our purpose excellent. Staff was very pleasent and helpful. Our stay was for the New Year Eve. Will come back again. Hotel was nice, clean and presentablee. Resturant also clean and presentable. Rooms Clean, Fitness center was great, pool (heated) and jaguzee enjoyable. Great Stay! !

We actually checked into this hotel after leaving a previously planned three night stay at the extended Stay Hotel on Katella near Angel Stadium. We were so disappointed with that place, we cut that reservation short and paid the short notice premium to get into this hotel and it was worth the extra price. We usually stay at the Lemon Tree or Pepper […] Tree which are also good places, but they were booked so we stayed here the last two nights and had a great stay. Lisez la suite

"roaches galore"
checked in at 2pm, went to the room, went back outside to car to get something came back in and found 4 huge cockroaches in the room, was givin room on higher floor, but from then on was always looking for the bugs. restauraunt was ok, took 3 calls and 6 hours to get our room cleaned, took even longer just to get an extra couple of shampoos, stay somewhere […] else, if going to knotts berry farm, stay on other side of the street for an easier walk to the park. The only problem with this room was the beds were too firm, which some might like, but it didn't suit us. Besides the beds, the hotel was great and we would recommend it.

Overall a really nice hotel. The maid (Gloria I think( was really nice and so were the restaurant staff. Convenient shuttle to Knott's. There are no refrigerators or microwaves which is not good if traveling with toddlers. Other than that it was a great choice.

near Knotts and Disneyland.. great place, pool is amazing, and lounge(bar) and the restaurant was very good,, breakfast amazing,, you get a $20 credit towards restaurant in the package I chose. you have to put down a $50 deposit toward the room. very recommended,,, great place for entire family..

Great location for those on vacation. One of the nicer hotels in the area and at a decent price. I was on business and it served my purposes well. The restaurant was nice and served a great breakfast. Only complaint was that the Wifi was slow and had a weak signal. "Nice place with some drawbacks"
I want to like this hotel, the property is nice, the room is clean and neat, with flat screen TV, but the major turn off for me was that the bath towels in my bathroom were not completely dry, I could feel the moist in them, they were not fluffy but rather heavy, indicated that they were not completely dry. On the third night of my stay that when we […] had some nice and fluffy towels. And for a king bed, the pillows are on the small side, they are so tiny and not comfortable at all. The housekeeper did a good job everyday, she was very neat, and very friendly, perhaps that was the only friendly staff of this hotel that I experienced with. I would stay at this place again if I get a good rate for a room. It is located close to everything, about 10 mins driving to Disneyland. There is a small gift shop next to the lobby, in case you want to grab something without having to leave the hotel. The pool is useful for an afternoon break from the theme parks. The parking can be tricky on Saturday night because the guests that come to the hotel for the wedding and celebrations at the banquet rooms share the same parking lots. Lisez la suite

"Convenient and comfortable"
We have stayed many times at this hotel and have found it convenient to our family and comfortable--particularly on the fourth floor.

An excellent hotel - great value, brilliant pool open till 11pm, only 1 mile from Knott's and a short drive to Disney. About 45 mins drive to central LA so you need a car. Lovely rooms.

Why pay more? I was there to help a family throu a graveside service, the room was clean and cool w/ac. I used the hotel as a retreat a getaway. The Gym was on my floor great for stress relief. Coffee maker in room, food in walking time and food in hotel. The hotel did what they do very well.

since i paid for room on line, did not have a double queen bed reserved. My daughter had to sleep on a sofa
We do make every effort to grant room type requests, whether made online or directly, and apologize that we were unable to during your stay. In addition to our double-queen rooms we do have spacious King bedded rooms that have a pull-out sleeper sofa (though not all of our King rooms include a sleeper-sofa).

I was not happy with our room at this hotel. The pool, the location and the pics of the rooms were originally why I booked here. When we checked in the first thing was the toilet seat would not stay up, the TV froze up and resumed continually as we viewed it. There was trash on the floor beside the bed and behind the night stand from previous customers. […] The air conditioner would only stay on hi and freeze us out and the beds were not comfortable. There is no free coffee in the morning. The restaurant is pricey and if your kids eat free be prepared to give them half of your meal. The pool was nice and the location was good, but I would not recommend this hotel for the amount they charge. Lisez la suite

Got two rooms but one smelled like the previous people smoked in it (was non-smoking). Other than that the rooms were clean and the area was convenient. Close to target, subway, starbucks, knotts berry farm and a mall. Would stay again.

Nice but not all that it rates! Pool was not much to talk about. For all the reviews this hotel could use some better rates. Suggestion can use some complimentary coffee or newspaper.

have a clean rooms easy acces to freeways
The staff were all nice and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. The only problem was that the pool had algie on the side, I'm not generally picky but this made me a little uncomforable to have my child swim in.
