Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Hollywood ,parking gratuit,connection internet moyenne dans les chambres meme si elle est gratuite,petit dejeuner compris et copieux,un frigo mais pas de coffre fort.Personnel très sympathique le seul bémol c'est que même les chambres non fumeur sentent le tabac froid sinon dans l ensemble séjours agréable pour 2 à 3 nuits maximum,ah oui petite piscine pour se détendre et ça aussi c'est toujours agréable .

Très bon compromis: qualité/prix, emplacement idéal à 1minutes à pied du Kodak Theatre et à la fois dans une rue calme. Jardin sur le toit très bien aménagé, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux (mention spéciale aux muffin), chambre grande avec cuisine, parking fermé - Bref ravis de notre séjour (4nuits). Les petits bémols: murs fins car vieux bâtiment et penser à demander une chambre sur cour et pas sur rue (c est quand même Hollywood Boulevard dont on parle : y a de la vie!!). C'était très bien!! Vraiment

Hotel classique au niveau des chambres. Parking assez grand. Bon avantage sur le placement à 2 minutes à pied du métro et à 5 minutes en voiture d'Hollywood Signs, des étoiles d'Hollywood Blvd, 15 minutes d'Universal Studios, de Sunset Strip, 30 minutes sans bouchon de Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Méfiance tout de même dans le secteur de l'hotel à la tombée de la nuit mais c'est pas non plus Bagdad...
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.

Après un premier séjour remarquable voici un an et demi, je revenais en toute confiance... Erreur ! Car si la première fois ma chambre était située dans le batiment principal, je n'avais pas remarqué qu'il y avait à l'arrière un autre batiment de style motel ! Fenêtre qui donne sur le couloir (pas de vue), nuisances sonores liées à cette situation... […] La pillule fut dure à avaler.... En clair : le DoubleTree Torrance dans le premier building, oui ! "Our Stay"
Although I thought the location was good and the rooms were roomy but bland, the prices at the restaurant/breakfast buffet/bar were outrageous. Really need to look at that. The room was clean anc comfortable but poorly decorated.

"Convienient"
Torrance is a difficult town to get to. But once there it's a great location to the Airport, Beach Cities or just about any where else is LA. So finding a hotel that is Clean, comfortable is very important it and this one fits the bill. You check-in and you Don't have to check out. Smooth sailing...

Services provided inside the room were exceptional. Cleaning crew stayed directly outside the room immediately upon my arrival a bit too long. The lobby staff was helpful and courteous. I would definitely refer to friends and coworkers.

My husband and I had never stayed in a Double Tree hotel before, we was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the staff and the general atmosphere inside the hotel. It was a very comfortable hotel in general, located right off a main street so it was easy to get to, lots of shops and restaurants in the area. We would stay again. The only complaint […] we have is with the pillows, ours were feather down and were like sleeping on a brick. Wife, 2 kids and myself stayed in the back building so had to walk past the pool area to take the elevator. It was very clean and quiet. Beds however were a little soft, but that is a personal choice. Great service at check in, staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. Room was very nice, only thing I would suggest would be better selection of TV Channels and a continential breakfast, most Hotels provide this. Thank you.

The fron t desk staff was extrermely helpfull, friendly, and effecient. Very seldom do I find that kind of service.
"A bit out of the way"
This hotel is not convenient for sightseeing but it has a large shopping mall nearby and also many shops and restaurants. The staf were excellent and very helpful. It is near Redondo beach which, unfortunately, we did not see asit was only a stopover on our journey. It is also difficult and expensive to reach if you do not have your own transport. "Doubletree Torrance/South Bay - conference center"
Hotel was typically good for Doubletree brand at a very reasonable rate. Pros: Staff was excellent, attentive and worked to make a 5-day conference bearable. Breakfast buffet good, lunches and snacks each day were surprisingly good. Conference room served all our needs. Cons: Small bathroom was a bit cramped. The hotel was close to all places to eat, shop and a great variety of places. The DelAmo shopping mall was close by and within walking distance.

Great location - only 20 minutes from downtown LA, minutes to beach cities, conveniently close to highways and LAX. Rooms were clean and comfortable; service was decent.

Great location for convenience, though I might prefer to stay in a more scenic local next time. The workout room was great and the room service food was delivered quick and was delicious (burger with mushrooms, chicken caesar salad). My bathtub drain didn't work, the pillows were way too thick and the water tastes yucky (very soft water, perhaps?). […] I would happily stay here again, but bring bottled water to drink. "Doubletree - Great location, Good service"
I stayed at the Doubletree for business for 3 nights. The room was very nice with great ameneties. The fitness center, pool and jacuzzi were all terrific! It's very close (a little over 3 miles) to the beatiful Redondo Beach & Pier - $11.00 cab ride. Right across the street is a large mall. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous!

I really enjoyed our 5 nite stay at the Doubletree South Bay-Torrance as my daughters and I vacationed in Southern California this summer. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous ....... room was large with a GREAT view!!!!! Not very happy with the limited selection on TV .... but free Wi-Fi was great for my daughters. Free USA Today newspaper at doo […] every weekday morning. Hotel very close to Del Amo Mall & South Bay Galleria in Redondo beach!!!!! We walkled to Benihana for dinner one nite..... and many good restaurants within walking distance!!!! About 25 miles from Disneyland.... all-in-all a GREAT stay!!!! Lisez la suite
"Nice but cramped"
The hotel is lovely and the staff is friendly and efficient. I have never stayed in a cleaner hotel. However, the room is small and the bathroom is ridiculously small. There is no room to put out any toiletries on the cabinet and you can't get close enough to the mirror to put on make-up well.

I was disappointed that the hotel did not offer complimentary breakfast as does hotels that are much cheaper the Double Tree. I placed on the outside of my door Do Not Disturb and was awaken by one of the maids next door claiming that the the bathtub would not drain and had the plumber running a snake through the drain with a LOUD drilling noise at […] 8:00am This may seem late morning to some but it was not to me and several other on the floor that had Do Not Disturb hanging in their door as well. My family and I had a nice visit to California . The staff at the hotel was great. Made each one of us feel at home. We would stay here again.
"Noisy"
The hotel is very noisy. They contract in Airline employees and they arrive all night long so if your looking for peace and quiet I don't think you'll find it there. It's a old building and when you shower the shower makes so much noise you can't hear nothing else. If you want ice the ice machine is on the bottom floor so you have to leave your room […] and ride the elevator down. It really was a inconvience.
