We liked it very much. The people were very friendly and the place was convenient, clean, and affordable. Only problem was that the wifi in the room didn't really work or it was just too slow to connect. Not sure. Couldn't do some things I needed to do while there as a result. The breakfast buffet in the adjoining restaurant, Moose Creek, was very good. […] We had dinner at the Silver Diner in Greenbelt, MD, about 5 minutes away, not going by the highway. DON'T EXPECT NON-SMOKING ROOM UNTIL THEY RENOVATE. Asked for aND received a non-smoking room that had never undergone post-smoking renovation. Smoke smell was bad enough it was difficult to sleep. Sniff test confirmed chairs, curtains, carpet were smoky and probably were the source. Staff was nice enough but couldn't move me to anything other than a […] floor with kids running around from a convention group (10:30 at night) so I declined move. The hotel staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. I found the hotel overall to be nice and clean. The elevator could use a little work though. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only problem we encountered with our stay was that the microwave on top of the refrigerator in our room, made a horrible noise everytime the refrigerator started […] running. We were woken up several times throughout the night because of the noise. Otherwise everything else was good and quiet. I was really happy with the location of the hotel after seeing what the surrounding area was like. The hotel seemed to take security of guests very seriously. The breakfast buffet was awesome!! This hotel met the fine standards of a Holiday Inn. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Staff friendly, helpful. Flat screen TV, free internet. Linens and towels were high end. Our stay included a free $20 voucher for 2 people in the adjoining restaurant. The breakfast buffet was very good with an asst. of hot and cold offerings. Staff […] friendly. We still had to pay $3 though, even with the voucher. The hotel is in a busy area and there is no grass or parks, but we wanted to tour Washington D.C., and the hotels in D.C. were out of our price range. this was affordable, very nice and only 25 minute drive to D.C. Hotel location is central to College Park and the room is nice, even though parts of the hotel are run down. Restaurant staff was very friendly, however guest services staff was not at all helpful. They wouldn't send a glass/cup up to the room for drinking because the restaurant was closed the night we checked in.

I spent four days here and couldn't have been happier. The room was nice, the complimentary breakfast was good and the indoor pool was a welcome addition. If you're looking to unwind at night, the restaurant/bar attached to the hotel has decent food, pool tables and friendly staff. There are a few other decent places within walking distance, too.

I was in the area on business and this hotel was recommended luckily. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and pleasant customer service. I would stay there again without hesitation and another bonus was that Ikea was in the backyard. That made my evening.

We were 1st assigned a 1st floor room facing Route 1. Very noisy, hallway smelled of smoke, lights from cars exiting 495 came into our room all night, could easily hear what was going on in other rooms. Hotel staff were nice enough to change our room for second night, up to 4th floor, but still outside road noisy. I was a little disappointed, but in all fairness, only because of the hype of other peoples comments. It was just ok... bathroom was small, no fan and room smelt a little musty. windows did not open to let in any air.

Overall, we enjoyed it very much. It was a little out of the way of D.C., but not too bad. The staff was friendly and accomadating. The neighborhood was business oriented which made getting something to eat for all of us a little difficult but easily dooable. I suggest this hotel to anyone.

Shuttle requires reservation way in advance. Was very inconvenient to get around because of the reservation and also because it was very infrequent.

Excellent, all the hotel staff was courtious, and helpful in how to get around town. The restaurant was very good and helps in not having to find a good place to eat. Close to the beltway and a shuttle to and from the train into D.C. .When we go back to Washington D.C. we will stay at this hotel.

Everyone was very friendly, except for a couple folks in the restaurant. We were visiting DC, and the metro stop was close, and the hotel has a free shuttle to and from the Greenbelt stop with very friendly drivers. Upon arrival, I was told that they did not have the room that I booked and that they would be placing me in a double room. Then the elevator had the heady odor of pest spray, bleach and deodorizer. This smell permeated the entire floor that I was on. The sink dripped all night and the handles were leaking. I reported it and was told that the guy who […] worked on that was out. I ate in the restaurant and was not impressed with the menu or the food. Additionally, there is a service charge for any substitutions! The couple at the table near me was complaining about a substitution of a baked potato that cost them $5. Exactly what I expected out of a Holiday Inn for the price. No surprises - and that was a good thing. Oh - one surprise - I didn't know there was an Ikea in the hotel's backyard :)

Hotel location was good. Shuttle was available to take us to the metro. However, the room we stayed in was not up to par. We had 5 people (2 adults, 3 children), the pull out couch was not dressed with sheets, there were no extra pillows or blankets. When we call the front desk, we were brought A SHEET and A PILLOW, even though I requested a SET of […] SHEETS, a BLANKET, and THREE PILLOWS. Therefore, I had to call down AGAIN to finally recieve what was requested. THEN th handle broke off the toilet! It was fixed in a timely manner. On day 3 of our stay house keeping had tried to come when we had the do not disturb sign on the door. When we left we let the woman know. We came back 3 hours later to ZERO sheets on the bed or couch. She was nowhere to be found. Then suddenly, she tries to come into the room without knocking to put sheets on!! We felt pressured to leave the room so she could finish. BUT THREE HOURS LATER AND IT WASNT DONE? I wouldn't not go back! AND Expedia stated "complimentary breakfast" Which meant, going next door to the attached rest. and PURCAHSING breakfast! The buffet is HORRIBLE!! Lisez la suite
