Nous avons passé une nuit à cet hôtel début avril 2011. Le personnel est très sympathique. La chambre est confortable. Une station de métro aérien est située à environ 5 minutes à pied de l'hôtel, vous pouvez rejoindre le centre ville de Miami en 10-15 minutes. Nous avons passé 6 nuits dans cet hôtel au début de notre de séjour en Floride et comme ça nous a plu, on y est retourné 2 nuits avant notre départ. Très bien situé sur l'US 1 : à proximité du métro University, très pratique, qui vous emmène au centre de Miami, puis vous pouvez rejoindre bayside à pied ou en métromover, ou MiamiBeach, southbeach en […] bus (ticket 5 dollars la journée bus et métro). Si vous avez une voiture, le parking est gratuit, et vous êtes à 10 mn de Miami, et 20 de Miamibeach, 45 mn de shark valley (Everglades), 30 mn de Florida City, 1h30 de Sawgras (Outlet gigantesque). Pour nous, la situation est idéale, un supermarché à proximité, restau et fast food.Les chambres sont spacieuses, je conseille le rez de chaussée, pratique pour aller à la piscine, je prenais un bain tous les matins avant les visites et de retour aussi. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est bon et copieux, avec ma fille de 10 ans, on prenait un plat pour deux. Attention, il y fait froid (clim), il faut prévoir un gilet. I was on business to the University of Miami. The hotel was 100 yards from the light rail stop and directly across the street from the university. Perfect location. the hotel was just fine. It was not Hilton, but it was no dive either. The restaurant was good and it was clean. I will stay there again.

This hotel was cozy and great.Unfortunately I thought breakfast was included but when I re-booked for a lower rate that was not the case.Still, the buffet was nice each morning. Very nice hotel and walking distance to UM.

The room I stayed in was pretty comfortable. It was right on the second floor. However, you stepped outside of your room and everything was sort of dingy. They were doing a lot of maintenance but not to the areas that truly did require maintenance (such as the elevator). The internet was beyond unreliable. For someone who was trying to get some work […] done at night, the hotel really was not a good pick. I'd even be willing to pay for my internet usage, instead of having free but horrible internet. Right across the street from University of Miami. The Metro is right across the street making it easy (and inexpensive) to get to and from the airport. Staff is very helpful and informative. I definitely will use this hotel in the future now that my daughter has chosen U of Miami for school

The room was big and sufficiently clean but the walls were thin and the housekeeping staff was very loud! We asked them (twice!) to please quiet down, but they continued to yell to each other through the hallways. We checked in around 3pm and wanted to rest/nap in the room after a long trip, but had a hard time due to their noise. We were only there […] for one night and thankfully needed to check out early in the morning, right when the housekeeping staff arrived again to begin their "yelling to each other" in the hallway. Front desk was friendly and pool side room was good. A lot of noise in am from cleaning staff, slamming doors, etc. Refrigerator and microwaves not in every room. Good location for sites south of Miami and the airport.

THE MAYOR ISSUE WAS FIRST THE INTERNET, IT WAS SLOW,AND NOT HIGH SPEED AS THEY ADVISE IN THE HOTEL INFO. We used to stay at this hotel on our frequent visits to Miami. I believe there was a major renovation carried out about 5-6 years ago. Since then the hotel has gone downhill. The rooms are adequate but not very clean. There is no longer furniture on the patios or cutlery and crockery in the rooms. Instead of replacing these items they have just been […] removed. Disappointed in this hotel. Not our normal Holiday Inn,...my white socks were black from the flooring. Elevator was too far from room. I stayed there 3 nights during the month of August. The swimming pool was the only thing enjoyable during my stay. The complimentary morning coffee pot was empty 3 out of the 4 mornings there. Staff was great and Edgar at the front desk was very helpful and delightful. Pool area was very nice. However, the rooms are not very sound proof. First night I heard the baby in the next room crying and in the morning it sounded like people yelling not talking down the halls. One thing to watch out for is using the microwave. Our room had a microwave […] and little refrig next to the TV and when we used the microwave while the TV was on it turned them all off.
