Crowne Plaza Hotel Greenville - Greenville

I don't know how this hotel was rated 3.5 stars because it was outdated and felt dirty. I would put on par with a Days inn. Be careful when using the stars to make your decision.

I must say I was disappointed in our experience at this hotel. The rooms are beginning to show their age. Our first room had a heater that began making grinding noises in the wee hours of the morning. When we came back to the room in the evening to shower before heading out again, the room was untouched by housekeeping. We called down for fresh towels […] and were told they were "short-staffed." Regardless we were switched to another room due to the heater problem. The staff did offer free breakfast buffet tickets for our second morning. The beds were pretty firm. Last year we stayed at the Hampton Inn by the Greenville Airport and will stay there again the next time. Much cleaner with great beds and bedding. Lisez la suite

Every was great execpct the problem was that almost did not want to honor my breakfast vouchers.

Nice hotel-great indoor pool area-really enjoyed using that. Breakfast was reasonable with good selection.

Good hotel overall. Conveniently located next to Greenville Intl. Airport. Hotel staff was rude upon entering mainly because I used hotels.com to book the 2 rooms. Said I never had a breakfast voucher because I went through hotels.com but when I made them look up the account, they saw that it was there. The hotel itslef was very nice though.

Hotel very nice, great location to interstate, shopping, and downtown. Pool was awesome and warm for the cold weather. Room was kind of small, but that was because it had a couch in it too.

The hotel was great in general. The only thing I would say they should work on is getting new televisions. The one in our room was from the early 1990's.

Hotel is clean & hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. Only drawback ... pool is a bit too small. Otherwise, a good spot & a comfy place to stay while on the road.

Book this hotel for the pool - only one I could find with an indoor pool. It was nice, open and very clean. Staff was very nice. Wish they would make the room doors not slam.. very loud!

The room was very clean which is important to me. Our room was a king bed with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was fine for my kids and the king was comfortable. Our room did not have a refrigerator and I did not see a guest laundry (only a laundry service) Housekeeping did not come on our second day but we did have a do not disturb tag up until 10:30 am. […] The price was reasonable so I would recommend to others Lisez la suite

Picked this hotel because it was close to my son's apartment. I rented 3 rooms so his family, my daughters family and my wife and I could have Christmas together. This hotel was very clean and the staff was so nice and courteous to everyone in my group. They moved one of their Christmas trees (they had plenty of them throughout) into my room so we could […] put our presents around it for the grandchildren. The grandchildren enjoyed the heated indoor pool giving the adults time to visit. I plan to stay at this hotel on all my visits to Greenville. Lisez la suite

Pros: Extremely nice and helpful staff; very nice lobby area, convenient to I-385, wonderful bed, late checkout. Cons: Couldn't get room temperature comfortable; thermostat seemed only "loosely" connected to room temperature. Usually either too cold or too hot. Wireless internet connection was spotty (fourth floor)

The hotel was excellent, clean, nice pool (WARM!!!), and other amenities. Only real complaint is that the fan on the heater was a little loud.

we enjoyed our 2-night stay very much. For the price the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.

This was a really great hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient and the room was very comfortable.

This hotel was so much more than I expected for the price! The rooms, lobby, etc. were outstanding and the service was unbelievable. I almost want to travel to Greenville again just to stay here!

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was very nice. Very clean and extremely comfortable beds. For the money this was a great hotel and I wold recommend it for anyone staying in the greenville area. I will definitely be staying there when I return again.

The air-conditioning unit was noisy. It woke me up a few times during the night.

This hotel was outstanding. We were happy not only with the hotel, but the location was great for us! We'd highly recommend it to others.

The hotel provided internet access but the network collapsed from 5PM to 2AM. In a city where most people go for business, having bad internet access is a huge negative, or at least it was for me. Also, they billed me twice and I had to spend over an hour on the phone with them getting my money back. The rooms were a little dated.

Although we only stayed for 1 night, the Crowne Plaza was beautiful. The room was spacious with a super comfy bed (no dirty old comforter either, it had a fresh white duvet which I appreciate)an office area by the window and an immaculately clean and brand new looking bathroom, which is very important to me. When traveling on business, lack of quality internet service is a deal breaker for me. The wireless internet at this hotel did not meet my expectations and was intermittent at best during peak periods of usage. This was frustrating and prevented me from getting work done. Hotel was really, really nice. I've stayed at more expensive hotels that wouldn't even come close to the cleanliness/atmosphere of this hotel. There is plenty of things around, restuarants, shopping etc. 10 min MAX to downtown Greenville.

We were so happy with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendly staff. They actually gave us a room on the top floor, which is their quiet floor. We were so grateful to have a quiet room so that our 6 month old daughter could sleep without being disturbed.....every new parent knows how important that is! They also have an incredible restaurant with […] some of the nicest waiters I have ever met who were completely thrilled to see a +1 highchair! Hotel has easy access to mayor roads. It is not in the city but close to restaurants and shopping. The staff friendly and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was not included and I think it should have been for the price. The breakfast buffet was very expensive for what they offered.
