Très bon emplacement , bel établissement, mais quel dommage de ne pas avoir de chambres à la hauteur... Odeur de tabac froid dans les couloirs menant aux chambres, réfrigérateur faisant un bruit d'avion , climatisation bruyante... Heureusement on peut la couper la nuit. Côté petit déjeuner: personnel super sympathique et mets à la carte d'excellente […] qualité. Les pancakes sont top! Attention quand ce repas est supposé inclus dans la formule, ce n'est pas totalement exact. En fait, on vous déduit une somme forfaitaire, qui peut ne pas couvrir la totalité de vos consommations... We had a room on the 11th floor with a wonderful bay view. It's worth the extra money because you get to see the harbor and the water change color with the sunset and sunrise. Just georgious! "An affordable gem in Portland"
We traveled here for a conference and stayed here since it was affordable. There is a lot of bang for your buck. The rooms are very comfortable. The in room internet connection was great. There was a day I had to work in the room and it was not a problem. However the highlight for me was the pool. It was a very underutilized amenity. There were times […] I had it all to myself. There was even a day when there were no towels. I called up the front desk and they quickly brought them. All in all it was a great stay and if I ever come back, I'll be sure to stay here again. "Have stayed many times before"
It was as it always has been in the past. Fairly convenient to everything and comfortable. Meals are very pricey. Food is ok. The maid service has changed. I used to leave the room after 11 without a problem and always came back to my bed made, trash taken and used towels changed. The second day, we were leaving the room and was asked if I needed towels. […] I said yes and she started handing them to me. So I said, and the bed made. She took the towels back and said nevermind, I'll take these.(?????). It was a good weekend though and as always, will go back to that hotel the next time we are in town. The wait to get a room was not expected and upset our plans.It set our two night stay off on the" uncomfortable" side.We were tired from a long drive and wanted a rest before our PM plans. The hotel is a bit old, but in good repair. What is always comes down to is the quality of service. A pretty place can be as cold as a tomb if there is bad service. I was very impressed with the hotel staff-very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The courtesy van was really helpful. Picked us up at the airport and dropped us to the train station. There were certain inadequacies in the hotel. The safe in my room was not functioning and the cleaning staff should have noted that. The refrigerator in the room made too much noise but I found a way to muffle it but that really was not my responsibilty. The breakfast was far too expensive.
