Ramada Plaza Omaha Hotel and Convention Center - Omaha

Understanding the hotel is under construction but the room was cramp, dirty the pool area was dirty and need of repair, no dining and the reason why we booked at this hotel was the water park only to find that it was closed for maintenance. The water park isn't comp for guest, the food there was horrible and terribly expensive and they took no credit […] card nor could you charge to the room. Found later that the Hilton offers everything and comps 5 wrist bands to their water park at a reasonable price. We will book there instead of the Ramada next time. Lisez la suite

The location was in the hub-bub of Omaha, so very convenient, and right off the interstate. Perkins was located right across the street, so very convenient for dinner/breakfast. We stayed with 2 children and they offered a crib for our baby. Room was clean and decorated nicely. I was so pumped to be staying in a hotel/water park, but the website does not tell you that you have to pay $20/person to get into the resort, even if you aren't swimming! RIDICULOUS! I did get a refund on one of the wristbands since my husband wasn't swimming, which was a bummer b/c he couldn't watch our daughter swim. The Ramada in my city offers 4 free wristbands into their water park with one night's stay, and the rates are the same. I thought that was very deceiving for a hotel's website to boast a water park but not tell you that it's not included in your stay. So beware. Wouldn't stay there again

The carpet is disgusting, the rooms aren't clean and the overall hotel needs some major TLC. Clean it up guys! You could have a gold mine there with the Coco Key's establishment but your shotty rooms and decor are bringing it down. I would recommend staying somewhere else and buying a day pass to Coco Keys.

I was looking forward to staying at the Ramada since i have heard great things and yet not been able to stay at one. When i checked in it was nice but the minute i got to my room the excitement was gone. My shower door didn't shut so i got water everywhere when i took a shower. My tub which was suppose to be a hot tub with jets didn't work. I am sad […] to say i will most likely will not stay at this hotel again even with the nice price of the discount on Hotels.com. Overall the hotel just looked old and rundown. Even though it looked like updates had been done it still seemed dirty and damaged. Towels in the bathroom were yellowish instead of white.

The room was small, carpet stained. Hallways had trash on floors that was not removed the 3 days we were there and smelled odd. We were put in a back hallway with no other guests even though the hotel was not crowded. Long walk to find an ice machine, no indication on hotel map of where they were located. Staff offered no local guides when we asked, […] and didn't mention there was a rack near the ice machine or a book in a drawer under the TV in the room. We stayed here becuase I had a bus convention at this hotel. First off, don't stay on the first floor next to the conf rooms. There were family parties all evening and you could hear them all down the hall. Secondly the king room was tiny. No fridge, microwave, etc. Bathroom was so small only one person could fit with the door open wide or closed shut. […] A large person may not have been able to sit on the toilet because the room was so small. While taking a short shower, the water would stop for a few seconds, then come back on freezing cold, till it warmed again. This happened at least 5 times during a 20 min shower. We accidently left some clothes in the dresser after check out and the front desk staff was rude and refused to help us. She said we had to talk to housekeeping mgr. After an hour later we got a call back, and were able to drive back to the hotel and get our stuff. I was glad we stayed in the area, or we would have had to pay to get it shipped. And it was just a bathing suit and shirt. We were not happy at all, and surprised Ramada we even want their name on this hotel. We heard the towers were we stayed are getting remodeled over the winter, but it was too bad that we had to stay in them before they were fixed up. Lisez la suite

This hotel was very easy to get to. Took our 14 month old to the zoo and stayed here the night before. It is a short drive to the zoo. The hotel was very clean and cozy. The check in was very smooth. It is close to many restaurants and shopping malls. Just take 72nd street a couple miles north and everything is there. CoCo Keys looked like it would […] be fun, however we didn't do it. We chose this hotel because we have a toddler and we thought what better way to let him get some energy out after being cooped up in a car during a long road trip than in the pool. The pool (the hotel one, not the water park) is ideal for families with kids, since it has a very shallow end, and there's a little playground outside of the pool area in […] the atrium. On our way out to Chicago, the pool was really nice and warm, but on the way back, for some reason it was frigid. As far as the hotel was concerned, it's starting to show some serious wear and tear with warped ceiling tiles and carpets that really need to be replaced. Plus, the door key card readers are on lots of the doors, including to all pool accesses, yet only half of them seemed to work. On our return trip, they were nice enough to upgrade us to a suite that had a pool-access door, but that reader was also broken and we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room. We would love to stay here again, but hope the ownership and management is treating this hotel as a going concern and will continue to renovate this hotel. Lisez la suite

Stayed at the hotel to enjoy the water park for my daughter's bday. The hotel is in need of an upgrade. It was decent for an overnight stay, but wouldn't recommend anything over that.

I had gone to the hotel with my daughter's family for the water theme park and to leave the next day on a flight home. I was not impressed with the hotel room's condition and when I mentioned the problems to the front desk the response was that they were in transition period for upgrading the rooms so the situation will improve in time. The problem […] is that I had identified problems to the front desk and it was not taken seriously. The problems identified were that the bathroom door would not shut and that there was no curtains to shut out the outside street lights. I was not that impressed also with the attached water park for the money paid and the food there was horrible and expensive. I will not go to the Omaha Ramada Inn in the future during my visit to my daughter's residence. Lisez la suite

We had difficulty finding the hotel because the signage was not clear. The decor was lovely, but pur bathroom didn't have a fan and consequently, the ceiling tiles were swollen with moisture and looked about to fall down. Also the air vents in the main room were full of mold and dirt. Yuck! The fan itself made such a loud noise we had to turn it off […] to get to sleep. Close to the zoo. Room was small. Overpaid for the room, considering a lady checking in next to me got her room and a waterpark pass for the same amount as my room. Would recommend going to their website and getting the room from there...seems to have better rates. Room was very clean..shower pressure wasnt very good. This hotel was great for kids, but the cleanliness of the room and hotel was not quite up to par.

For the price the hotel was great, I expected some water park admissions to come with the price of the room. I had to buy the water park admission separately. The guy I spoke to on the phone made it sound like it was part of the stay price, but I did not ask specifically. The water park was nice hours of entertainment. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The hallways smelled horrible, there was mold growing on the ceilings, and the staff working at Coco Key needs to step it up and control what goes on there.

The woman at the front desk was very helpful when we checked in. We stayed here mainly for the waterpark, and it was great for our 5 year old. Admission to the park is extra, but if you get a package deal when you check in it is cheaper than buying it directly from the park. I had to ask for this deal, the girl did not offer it to me. They could definitely […] use more rafts at the park. There are slides that require the rafts and also the lazy river, so if you do not get there right when they open, you will have to wait for someone to get done using their raft. The pool also has a good size pool, which we went to a couple times as well. The sauna did not work when we were there, which was a bummer. We went to the pool twice and there were no towels, so make sure to check this out before you get in the pool or you have to walk around trying to find a towel while you're sopping wet and freezing. We got a room with a king size bed, which worked for our family of 3 to share. The pillows on the bed are small, but there are extras in the console drawer. Room was small, not much room for our daughter to play on the floor, so she played with her toys on the bed. The bathroom was also small. You can definitely tell they have remodeled lately, but it worked for us. The restaurant in the hotel was nice. We had breakfast there on a Thursday and were surprised by the selection. The young man at the hotel front desk seemed to be annoyed to have to speak to me. We found our way to the water park. I paid for 9 admissions to the water park.While we were getting our wrist bands put on I heard the other water park desk clerk telling a family if you are staying at the motel you could get this or this. We were not offered options […] as guests of the hotel. The water park is over crowded, not well kept, not enough floats or life jackets. Anyone under the age of 19 not allowed in lazy river wiithout a float or life jacket. We have two sons one son 13, 5'8', 150 lbs, the otherr son 16, 6'1", 160 lbs could not walk in the lazy river even though they are as big or bigger than people over 19. And the only life jackets there are for little children. Lifeguards there was the surly fella where I stood for 20 minutes waiting for a float and a young lady interested in her hair and another young man lifeguard. Since I booked on hotels.com the rooms were prepaid. On my credit card is the charge for the water park wrist bands and another charge on the day we checked in of $72.87. The crdit card company is checking in to the addtional charge. This motel gets two thumbs down and a never again! Lisez la suite

pretty nice rooms beds comfortable would like to had a small frig for drinks only thing didn't like and maybe just our room was the toilet was load when it was filling from flushing. Other than that was pretty nice

We had a family gathering at met at this motel to go to the water park. It was very disappointing. The water park was more like a splash pad. They didn't have enough intertubes or life jackets available which are needed basically for anyone under 19. Our 16 & 17 yr old kids needed life jackets or intertube to go in lazy river of 2.6" of water. You have […] to be kidding me. Plus there were just to many rules. Water park not worth the money..go somewhere else. The room was not clean and we almost of locked in the bathroom because the lock was broken. Also, cooling system did not work well. The room was satisfactory, but the lobby was about 400 degrees and full of kids. The only reason I mention this is that the people at the front desk were clueless. I booked on line for two nights and had a conflict so I got charged for a night I wasn't even there. Then they went ahead and charged me for yet another night. I was not overyly satisfied with our rooms. When I reserved our rooms I wanted two rooms with two double beds. We had 8 people in our party. We ended up with two rooms 6 rooms apart and one room had a king size bed and the other had a double bed. We didn't have accessed to the water park like I had asked when I reserved. I went to the front desk and […] they said that we are not always going to get what we reserved. They did give us tickets to the water park.
