Having stayed at the Hilton Hotel Glasgow last year (5 Star), I cannot believe how the Marriott Hotel Glasgow has only 4 Stars as the hotel is fantastic. The staff are very polite and could not do anymore for you. The restaurant and bar areas are fantastic, formal yet with an atmosphere and the rooms are out of this world. Would strongly recommend the […] Marriot and also the Spa facilities after having a full body massage. Great time had by my wife and I and rest assured we will be back before the year is out. just a short walk to the city and shops. easy to access from m8 motorway handy for railway station this is our 3rd stay this year will be back. the only thing missing is refridgerators in the rooms

Superb staff, lovely hotel....cant wait to go back!

hotel staff friendly and help full room comfortable we were on floor 6 there was no noise to keep us awake .there was never above a minutes wait for one of the three very good lifts.The breakfast was excellent there was a wide choice to suit anybody,s food likes and dislikes, and plenty of it we had a great three nights and will certainly be back only […] one fault i had the windows outside could do with a clean. Found hotel room excellent,surprised no fridge though.Bed was really comfortable.Staff at reception very helpful especially the concierges who gave great advice/info and helped booking good restaurants. Breakfast service was ok,staff were clearing tables all the timewhen eating without asking if you were finished. Downside in hotel was slow/bad service […] in lounge.First day after telling waiter we wanted a minute to look at bar menu he never came back.I left my partner there and went to Tesco and got two sandwiches.When I got back,in all @ 20mins she still hadn't been served.We just gave up.On second night we order a drink from waitress in the lounge.Our order was made up and left on the bar but she disappeared. After 10mins I went to the bar to get our drinks.No one seems to know whats going on.This side is really letting the hotel down. Overall as long as we didn't use the bar everything else was good. Everything was excellent about the hotel APART from the terrible nights sleep I had. There was a function on in the hotel and the music kept me awake. I phoned the reception and was given an apoplogy but obviously there was nothing that could be done. Receptionist said the function would be finished at 2 am, however the clocks went forward that weekend […] so it was 3am when the music stopped! Then I was woken up by people shouting and carrying on in the corridor outside my room at 4 30am. Then the television switched itself on at 7 15am!!! Wasn't a case of "wake up happy" for me! I was rather disappointed with the heating in the room (415) - it was cold. The heater was only blowing cold air and therefore the room did not heat up. Reception was contacted and someone from maintenance came along to have a look. He suggested to reception that myself and mum (who is 81) be moved to another room (421). On arrival at that room - same […] problem again. Not a happy lady. Again I contacted reception and informed them that the problem with heating was same as previous room. I couldn't face being moved again and suggested they provide me with a heater - this was done. I was extremely disappointed as I had never stayed in the Marriott Hotel before (I normally go to the Crown Plaza) - unless heating problem was restored I don't see myself returning. Hotel was nice and in a good location. Parking was a bit busy, but there was a function on at the hotel. The room service was good and very prompt in service. The only complaint was the room temperature. The first night was really warm and system for room control did not work correctly. Informed hotel in the morning and they sent maintenance to fix. […] On return room was cooler due to window being open. The next night when we got back the room was again very warm and still not operating correctly.Breakfast was excellent. Overall nice stay apart from the room feeling like a sauna. Lisez la suite

Hotels position is further out than say the Radisson Blue but is only a 10 min walk to the centre. With lots of restaurants if you don't fancy eating in the hotel. The health club ( although along a tortuous route up and down stairs to reach it as a hotel guest is good with a shallow pool,sauna and steam room and an excellent gym with all equiptment. […] Breakfast was amazing and in the room rate was a real bonus. We only stayed one night but would certainly return if the need arose. It was exceptionally clean - nothing dog-eared or shabby here. In comparison with the Hilton (just across the road), would highly recommend

Excellent stay - fantastic Evening Meal and the finest Breakfast I have tasted.

We could not have enjoyed our time here more, Glasgow is a fantastic city and our hotel was the perfect choice. The facilities were lovely and the gym and pool/sauna/steam room etc. are really worth using. Amazing hotel, comfortable stay. Was needed. Also parking is very cheap :)

The staff could not have been more helpful. Really nice room, clean, comfortable. We ate in the restaurant both nights. Good choice on the menu and the food was delicious. Convenient location, close to all main shopping streets. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Polite, friendly, welcoming front of house staff made for a very pleasant arrival. All rooms booked were correct and we were allowed to check-in early which was very helpful to us due to our plans. The rooms were a good size, comfortable furnishings, nice decor and above all, spotless. The beds were big and the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever […] slept in, we did not want to get out of bed to leave. Nice rooms, corridor carpet a little worn but clean and tidy. Most importantly the room has biscuits!

You are a 5 min walk from the city centre,just follow the road outside and you are there.The hotel is very nice inside and serves a lovely breakfast in the morning.

Hotel was booked for the convenience for our wedding in Park Circus Glasgow . The staff could not have been more helpful for our stay and indeed wedding breakfast. The wedding dinner at the reception was first class as were the waiters and waitresses. This was good value for money. We had a three night stay , this hotel is very convenient for a walk […] to Glasgow city centre and all the attractions Glasgow has to offer and if needs be there are always taxis available outside. The hotel was comfortable ,well presented and conveniently located .Staff were friendly and helpful . The only issue was the temperature of the "hot" breakfast i.e. not very !!

The hotel was conveniently situated for theatres, SECC, and shops. The hotel itself was really nice and staff very friendly. Rooms were a very good size and beds really comfortable. The only negative was the heating in the bedrooms. We had three bedrooms over two floors and the air conditioning did not seem to work at all in any of the rooms and it […] was so horribly uncomfortable during the night as it had been quite a hot day. Our stay at the Marriot in Glasgow was lovely. The location of the hotel made it easy to get to the train station and many restaurants by foot, and a short drive to the airport. We enjoyed the bar in the evening and the restaurant for breakfast. A lovely spa is part of the hotel........great massage.

I have stopped at the Marriott many times and it just keeps getting better each time

Nice hotel. A little old, not 15th century, but like 80's old with a few upgrades since then. My room was a little beat up, but nothing I couldn't handle, it was comfortable and clean enough, and I'm pretty OCD with that stuff. Airconditioning was strong, which I love, I get warm easily. Great pool, and awesome fitness room in the club attached to the hotel which you can use for free. Lounge was great, lobby very nice, and staff... well they are Scottish, awesome people, very friendly and helpful! I would say maybe just a little too pricey for location, room condition. Restaurant in the hotel had good size portions, and they were quick, and the food was actually good, and reasonably priced as far as 4 star hotel restaurants go. 5 - 10 min walk (depending on whether you walk like a speed walker or like you could use a wheelchair) to the central station and Buchanan street. hotel was very clean good location rooms were very small not a hotel i would stay in for a long period wardrobes were small but we only stayed the one night so we managed staff were not very friendly on the desk

Stayed here one night for the AC/DC concert at Hampden Park. Great central location, friendly, helpful check in staff and concierge. The room was reasonable size with very comfortable bed. on entering this hotel the respection and lobby area are fab. We asked for an non smocking room and when we got there it smelled of smoke. We return to receiption who apoligised and give us another room on the 6th floor They are upgrading there hall carpets are it was a bit messy and dusty and had unfinished bits left in the hall The room it self […] was nice with a lovely big king szie bed I was a bit disappointed for a 4 star hotel that you were not given water but instead had a bottle for sale for 3.50 I just felt it lacked small little extras that most good 4 star hotel have. The pool area and locket room was nice but could also do with a bit more care and there were several used towel jsut left around and not been put away The spa was very nice and the hot stone message was excellent. easy to find, next to motorway, tour bus stops across the road, short walk to main centre, good room, good choice at breakfast, only down point was trek around to get to pool from changing rooms

the hotel was great breakfast from 6am til 12pm it was buffet style with plenty of choice .we never got 2 use leisure centre hopefully next time.

Prima hotel gelegen aan het centrum van Glasgow. Centraal station is om de hoek en de M8 ook. Kamers hebben standaard formaat maar alles is aanwezig en de bedden zijn heerlijk. Ook de grootte ervan was goed en de kussens heerlijk. Flatscreen tv met ruim 30 kanalen. Enige minpuntje was dat we na de kamerservice een zakje thee kregen en een flesje badschuim. […] Oh ja en we hebben een late checkout aangevraagd die kosteloos werd geregeld. Vi valgte Mariott fordi der generelt er en kvalitet man kan forvente ift. internationale hotelkæder. Hotellet er som sådan også fint med super morgenmadsbuffet, tilknyttet fitnesscenter og swimmingpool (lille men brugbar) som kan benyttes af gæsterne. Hotellet bærer dog præg af noget slittage og stilmæssigt lidt forældet. Værelset vi fik med King Size […] seng var udemærke, men måske lige småt nok. Største kritikpunkt er lokation, da hotellet ligger for enden af Argyle Street og dermed i yderkanten af Glasgow, i et noget nedslidt område (f.eks. bagsiden af hotellet op mod nogle tomme pladser. Det tager måske 10 minutter at gå ind til selve centrum af Glasgow (ift. forretninger med mere). Men hvis man efterspørger et hotel af en relativ god international standard er hotellet fint. マリオットをよく利用する方であれば、想像出来るサービス内容。都心からやや離れているので、徒歩での移動はやや難しいかな。

Edullisuuteen nähden todella hyvä hotelli. Sijainti hieman sivussa keskustassa, mutta kävelymatkan päässä kuitenkin. Ruma ympäristö, itse hotelli sisältä todella hieno ja siisti. Suosittelisin kavereille.

Mér er sönn ánægja að mæla með þessu hóteli. Öll þjónusta var til fyrirmyndar og starfsfólk mjög hlýlegt í framkomu. Hótelið er vel staðsett og stutt í miðbæinn þar sem flestar verslanir, veitingar- og skemmtistaðir eru svo nokkuð sé nefnt.
