The staff went above and beyond for us when we stayed here. Our reservation was for the night before Easter Sunday, and we had breakfast coupons for the morning. However, on Easter Sunday the hotel does a special brunch event, and the coupons for their usual hotel cafe weren't valid. Even though their cafe was closed, the hotel allowed us early access […] to the Brunch Buffet and gave us to go containers to take food up to our rooms. They went out of their way to accommodate us even though they didn't need to. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel while visiting family in Visalia, and both stays the staff surpassed expectations. The service they provide is more akin to what you might expect at a 4-5 star hotel. The building itself is fine, with an inside and outside pool, a gym, a cafe, a restaurant, etc. The only negative about the hotel was that the website lists "Pay Movies" as a hotel feature, and there is no Pay Movies. The hotel is very well kept. There is some renovation going on in the entry area, which suggests a dated Hotel. My room however was excellent and very comfortable. I slept great and will stay there on my next visit to the area.

Very subpar hotel I would rate my room as 1 star, as I was put in a handicap room, this means no shelf space in the bathroom, great if I needed a wheelchair but I did not. I thought I was in a truck stop with all the trafic at night. At 12:00 am they offered a new room but I was not prepared to move at that time. For the price I would have selected […] a Motel 6 and saved a hundred dollars.. Very in-satisfied with this location. My boyfriend was looking at the pictures online and compared it to the room and it was not like the pictures. Also, even though you get a suite or the "biggest" room, it really is not "big." You may feel a bit claustrophobic. When we had to take a shower, our drain was a bit clogged. It was like taking a shower and a "dirty" bath. We really did not […] like that. My stay was only for 1 night, but was very comfortable. It was near a local airport, but I did not hear any overhead flights during my stay. The amenities were excellent. Free WiFi.

When we went to our room after checking in, we found that the bed was not made. After moving to another room, the t.v. remote was not working. When I went to take a shower the shower handle fell off in my hand. Also found a cockroach in the bathroom. Staff was friendly, but would not stay there again.

Excelent place to stay,very nice rooms , bar, resturant, good breakfast in the resturant . Only thing is little far for other shops or resturant , you need to drive 3 miles. Hotel ambinace and louby is so nice. it is 30 min Away from 3 rivers. It is worth to drive 30 min for the kind of hotel and the price.

Great location for business in Handford or Visalia. We took our dogs and had no problems. Dog park and grassy pond/park complex right there,.Great for walks. Indoor pool is lovely.

Nice hotel. Loved the indoor poor. Room very comfortable. Could go for a flat screen tv.

I made the reservation for my wife. She was pleased with the very cordial reception she received from the charming woman who was hotel manager, and pleasantly surprised by a little welcome gift (or "welcome back" gift -- we had stayed there a number of times before). Stayed at this hotel for the second time this year for business purposes. Nice place with good staff. The price was fair and I'd happily stay here again.

Very quiet. The folks that manage the place made it easy to check in and out. Security was there but out of the way. Felt safe. Room was very clean and was that way for all three days.

Convenient, close to freeway on/off ramps easy access. very courteous staff. Cafe staff very friendly and courteous.

Hotel is great, Shift supervisor Joshua is rude. We asked for a 6AM wakeup call and they called at 4AM. He didn't appear to care when I mentioned it and just put his hands in an "Oh well" gesture. He seems to have quite a chip on his shoulder but everyone else was great.

This was a perfect evening stopover after a long drive. Has fun indoor pool (pool was important to the kids) and a restaurant so we could just relax. The rooms were nice, spacious, and quiet. Easy drive in morning to get to the park.

The hotel was very nice, beyond what I was expecting. Left my hotel key in the room twice and the staff was very understanding and we laughed about it. The restaurant, food and waitstaff was GREAT and the custmer service was WoW! The Bar I believe the name was Mahonney's has great nightly entertainment and was fabulous, great waitstaff too! Hotel amenities, such as outdoor and indoor pools, indoor jacuzzi, fitness room - make this an ideal getaway. Mahogany Lounge offers a quiet spot to meet with friends over drink and food. Late night local spot entertainment. Good menu and service.

The hotel is generally quite good with reliably well presented rooms and responsive staff. We are learning what part of the building to request -- top floors and/or the "old" building with suites. The food service is fabulous at any time of day, and happy hour is a bonanza not to be missed. All staff are accommodating and friendly.

Its a decent place to stay but wouldnt rate it as top most experience. We rented a double queen bed room and were put up in the back of the hotel with a view of the pool. There were some noisy folks around. Room service was good. Basically dont expect to have a great experience but just middle of the road. The AC was really noisy.

I found the rooms a bit small, with little room to navigate luggage. The indoor pool and spa were really nice. The lobby was beautiful with the Christmas Tree and music.

Positives: * Comfortable and clean rooms * Nice restaurant in the hotel with very good food Negatives: * In the middle of nowhere * Limited supplies in the room e.g. the coffee pouch was enough for one cup of coffee only (even though the room was for 4 adults!)

The search feature on your site allowed me to find a pet-friendly hotel that was a great find for all of us. Conveniently located next to a large community park that included a fenced dog park! The per pet fee was quite hefty, but the accommodations had been purchased reasonably.

The hotel and staff were great, only thing bad was the elevator, one wasn't working and getting to and from 4 floor was quite lenghty. Would stay there again.

Hotel was right off the major road leading to Sequoia Natl Park. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Good buffet breakfast. The grandkids loved the indoor pool. Everyone on the staff that we spoke with were friendly and very attentive. The hotel is actually about 5 miles from downtown Visalia but drove there and had some great meals. Outstanding Hotel, right off the highway so it was very easy to get to, however we never heard the highway noise. A little pricey but well worth it.
