-1-le départ de l'hotel à 11 h du matin mériterait d'être indiqué plus clairement au moment de la location. -2- nous avons réservé au nom de "Royal Waikiki " et avons tourné en voiture un bon moment avant de réaliser que l'adresse correspondait au "Royal kuhio". quand on arrive après 20 h de transfert depuis Paris, on suit à la lettre son bon de réservation;

"Hotel de transit"Avis d'un client Hotels.com envoyé le 22 févr. 2012
Cet hôtel est très bien adapté pour une escale. Il est à quelques minutes à pied de l'aéroport, il y a une navette toutes les demi heures . Très pratique donc lorsque l'on est en transit ou si l'on a un avion très tôt le lendemain matin

"Great and surprising"
This was a great, small venue that was comfortable and close to everything. It was clean, had an adequate breakfast and the staff was amazing. The staff really made it worth it. The location also put it over the edge. We will definitely staff here again. Other positives--internet is included with the resort fees and you can "rent" movies for free, two […] at a time, from the front desk. Nice way to unwind after a hot day on the beach. Lisez la suite

"Good location"
Cramped bedroom space, but fair price. Room was not ready until after 4 PM. Not enough garage parking spaces. I just happend to be one of the lucky ones to have a space so for me it worked out great but not so for others. Have to say this is an excellent location just behind the Hyatt & Wyndam Hotels- so had easy access to their restaurants & shopping […] as well as their beaches. Lisez la suite

"Awesome!"
Lowest rate, clean room and located in the heart of Waikiki. They also offer you free wifi, which is a plus comparing to the "10.00" fee 90% of the hotels there charging for, it helps especially if you are not from the states and would like to skype or IM your family back home. Dont forget the free breakfast at well, especially when you are wide awake […] at the break of dawn "jet lag". Lisez la suite
"I wanted to move in :)"
Great room with a younger vibe to it. Location was perfect.
"Great hotel = excellent value for money"
I Would definitely recommend Stay as a great (young and hip) alternative to the more posh hotels in Waikiki, the greatest difference is that the rooms are fresh and simple (scandinavian design) which I found very difficult to find when comparing hotels in Hawaii. Finally the room rates are very cheap.....

"No frills"
The staff was cranky, unhelpful, and rude. Rooms were clean but that's about it. The housekeeping staff kept taking my dirty towels and not replacing them so one day I was left with only a washcloth and had to call down for a new set of towels including a bath mat. The parking garage has limited parking that is not easy to get in and out of. It is $14/day […] to park and you must have a garage door opener to enter/exit. There are not enough openers and it is first come, first served to get one. Otherwise, you are stuck paying for one of the public garages, the closest being $20/day with no in/out privileges. The hotel also charges an extra $10/day for "amenities." This means if you are comparing hotels, you should add $10 to the rate for a more accurate idea of what you'll be paying for. As far as amenities, there is a hairdryer but no iron/ironing board in the rooms. Flat screen TV has a handful of cable channels. Bathrooms have a bar of dial soap and small bottles of shampoo and lotion. If you need more, you'll have to ask for it as the housekeeper does not replenish them. In the mornings there is a small set up for coffee and a pitcher of Tang with a couple of toasters and bread along with some muffins. The hotel is about 2 blocks from the beach, but located next to a youth hostel which can get pretty loud some nights. Ask for a room with a balcony or you'll get stuck with a smaller room. Overall, I would not stay here again. Lisez la suite
"Cool vibe but noisy"
The hotel is older but "surface" renovated to have a hip modern feel. Bathrooms and sink are small but cute. The whole hotel had a hip funky vibe that I liked. Everything was adequate and I was on floor 2 put of 8. Floors 5 to 8 have balconies if that matters to you. My only complaint is that early in the. Owning the garbage trucks arrive and they are […] hella noisy. And the process lasts at least five minutes. Only major downside. Lisez la suite
"Stay Hotel Wakiki - basic acc"
very basic hotel just behind the major shopping street Kalakaua Ave and close to the beach. Rooms are accessed via outside balconies as appears to be a renovated apartment block. For me, I would spend more money to have a better room that was a little safer feeling, with proper windows and furnishing to block out the street lights and noise. So get […] what you pay for really! Staff are excellent - can't complain there. The free wi-fi was ordinary and worked 50% of the time No fridge. Small bathroom that is a bit tired. Its ok, but nothing flash. Lisez la suite

"Hidden Fees"
Beware of hidden fees. The garages in the area will only allow you to park until midnight leaving you forsed into paying $15/day to use their garage. Street level parking is not available. In addition they charge $10/day for "resort fee" and another $5/day for taxes. Avoid this hotel!
"Cheap and convenient"
If you prefer something fancy and upscale, or have little kids, this hotel might not be for you, but my fiance and I really liked it. It's cheap, clean, convenient, close to the beach and the staff is really friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. They don't have a fridge in the room which is the only downside in my opinion. The street […] the hotel is located on is really noisy in the early morning due to the fact that all the tour buses drive through it but it was convenient because you don't have to walk to far to get to it. (We took four tours). They did have breakfast. Nothing fancy, but enough to get your day started. The rooms aren't huge but big enough. If you book a room with a balcony, if you're lucky you might get it. We didn't and yet it still didn't dampen our mood to enjoy the beautiful island. Lisez la suite
"Stay Waikiki"
crawling distance to great beach- surrounded by shops and restaurants- great beds- breakfast is continental only but the rolls kept coming out- very helpful desk staff-very good value- we would gladly stay here again
"GOOD LOCATION BUT NOISY"
WE WERE ASSIGNED A ROOM NEAR THE STREET WHICH WAS EXTREMELLY NOISY. BUSSES, TRUCKS ETC.

"Great location; minimalist room"
Stay offers great value and I would recommend it for single travelers and couples who don't plan to luxuriate in their rooms much. On the plus side: The rooms are stylish and balconies are a major perk (though don't expect too much of a view, more a good spot to sit and soak in the breeze). The hotel offers free unlimited Redbox-style movie rentals. […] On the negative: half the outlets in our room didn't work, there is nowhere to put your things except the floor or the bed (no chairs, no luggage rack), the bathrooms are outdated with no counter space, the "breakfast" is a joke at best and you'll have to lug your suitcase up the garage stairs to get to the elevator. Parking is $15 a day, which beats the valet rates at most Waikiki hotels but there's also a public garage one block away under King's Village for only $10. Don't expect housekeeping to mop your floors - ours were sticky even when we checked in. And with outdated louver-style windows overlooking a busy area you will NOT be having a quiet, peaceful stay. All in all, the location is great and for the price you're getting a pretty good deal. Don't count the free breakfast as part of the value unless you like cheap frozen pastries, canned "juice" and powdered creamer. Lisez la suite
"Stay Waikiki"
I've stayed here twice, the first time on the top floor in a twin room, and the second in a queen on the second floor. I loved the top floor room. The second floor room was REALLY noisy, and with zero view. Great location, just ask for the top floor.
"Stay Hotel Waikiki - no parking, added fees"
PROS: Liane at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant; room fairly clean; close to Kalakaua Ave., great Verizon 3G reception; AC & TV work. CONS: Extra "amenity charge" and parking fees make your hotel bill at least $26 higher per night; only 10 spaces in garage (for 60+ guest rooms) and no nearby street parking may force you into even costlier […] public parking; view from balcony is of another hotel balcony; limited electrical outlets in room already have multiple plugs in them; AC unit facing head of the bed is both noisy and windy; no desk, chair, coffeemaker or ironing board; cheap decor--spartan white walls, orange curtain in lieu of closet door, linoleum floor in bedroom, weird art deco lamps. Yes, the rooms and bathrooms are small...about the same size of the rooms in the historic "Milford Hotel" ,NYC....Now that we established that let's move on....The service that you receive is 5 star!!! The location of the hotel is ideal, 1 block from the ocean... free breakfast, internet and free "red box" style movie and game rentals, Sony Playstation […] 3, HD flat screen in your room...Rooms clean and modern decor..Rafts, beach mats, chairs, sun block are available for your use, "free" of charge!!! Lots of restaurants around.... "HI Steaks" inside "Food Pantry" a must!!! Walking distance to everything, NO rental car needed.....I travel a lot! This hotel has SERVICE and AMENITIES that out shine the larger hotels around and I have stayed in the bigger ones...The "STAY"hotel is a hidden gem, PERFECT FOR COUPLES!! Lisez la suite
"Stayed at The Stay"
Can't beat the price. Fully 30-40% lower than anything else on Waikiki. Close to everything you want. Maid service was adequate. Just adequate. That's the good news. The bad news includes low water pressure, stains, bed bugs, no furniture to speak of, and no in-house services, like laundry (sent out or done in). Enjoy!
"good price for the location"
The location of this hotel is across from Moana Surfrider and for the price is great. It is however a small hotel, the rooms are small as is the bathroom with standup shower only. The bathroom was not very clean but the sheets were clean and there were cute decorative touches throughout. The internet works, they have DVDs for rent for free. The elevator […] was down for repair the day we left but they warned everyone in advance. Overall, would recommend as a basic accommodation in superb location. For 2 of us in the queen room, it was a tight pinch! Lisez la suite
"Best for its location"
This hotel locates at a small street just behind the famous Waikiki Beach, so it takes less than 5 minutes to walk there. It is also convenient to walk to the nearby bus stop -- Kuhio/Kaiulani. From Google Map, this place seems to be modified from a student residence, and therefore I am not so surprised that inside my room there is a bunk bed like […] those used in dormitories, which of course decreases the value. Nevertheless, it's clean overall. There is no chair inside my room, and I have to move one from the balcony. Besides, there is no refrigerator. What makes me most unsatisfied is that they charge an additional fee $10 (+ tax: 4.712%) per day for the wireless internet, continental breakfast, DVD rental, and the access to a business room (there're 2 computers), and it is NOT optional. This fee is NOT listed in the information on hotels.com. The internet and the breakfast are rather okay to me. But the DVD machine is a crap. I don't think they are worth $10 in a whole. Lisez la suite
"Location"
The Hotel was located really close to the beach and just off the main road with all the shopping and restaurants. Only problem is, all the bus tours and shuttles use that road to park and pick up people so it is VERY noisy. Also, the police station is not far from there. Makes you feel safe but is very annoying getting woken up by sirens in the middle […] of the night. The rooms were also smaller/more cramped than the photos lead to believe. If it weren't for the noise I would highly recommend this hotel for a cheap convenient stay in Waikiki. Lisez la suite
"Great Economy Hotel"
This hotel was a dream come true. For a budget conscience traveler, I knew that i wanted something economical while not sacrificing style, comfort, and/or convenience. I got all that and great breakfast muffins each morning. Pros: 1. Jasmine, Jasmine, Jasmine! She went out to the way for me and my requests. Not to mention she always had a smile doing […] it! She rocked! 2. Breakfast snacks.. the best little croissants and mini turnovers. 3. Stylish and Clean Rooms 4. Right in the middle of Waikiki 5. Free DVDs to watch 6. Free Beach toys to borrow, like mats 7. Value Cons: 1. Limited parking vs. rooms. When I arrived they had no parking spots left and I had to drive around looking for a lot that had in-out privileges. (Pro - Jasmine was right there with getting me a spot as soon as someone left the following day) 2. Noise Level on the lower floors. (Pro- Jasmine was right there with getting me a room on the 7th floor from the 2nd as soon as someone checked out the following day 3. Lisez la suite

"Close to all sites and resturants and beach"
room was small and dated. But was very clean
"No Frills"
This hotel is fine for someone looking for bare bones ammenities. When we 1st arrived, we were given a room that was the size of a large closet. They did accomodate us 2 days later with a larger room. The rooms do NOT have refrigerators, coffee makers, ironing boards or microwaves - that's what I mean by no frills. They did give us an ironing board […] & iron & finally a fridge after the janitor heard us asking for one repeatedly. The rooms were cleaned properly but didn't appear to be vacuumed. The staff is very pleasant & the hotel is located a block from the beach & a ton of shops & restaurants. Beware, the hotel is small & sandwiched in between other much larger hotes & the walls are thin. We heard trucks & noise all night long, made it difficult to get a good night's rest. Lisez la suite

"Stay Hotel Waikiki in Honolulu"
The room was very small, but very clean. It was well worth the money as a layover hotel between resorts. The hotel indicates that they have some parking at $20 a day or, if full, there is public parking down the street for $8 a day. Don't count on parking at either the hotel or the public parking down the street; the spaces are limited and generally […] always full. That said, there is a public ramp ($20 per day) around the corner and up two blocks that was fine...and not that far to walk. Lisez la suite
"hotel stay honolulu"
the room was very small. missing outlet covers and trim in the room made it tachy, though it was clean. warning, the internet service and "continental breakfast" is not free. they charged my card for this at check out. Very noisy room with not black out curtains.
"Stay Hotel, Waikiki"
Great mid range hotel in a great location. Rooms refurbished fairly recently are basic but good. Good location one block back from Waikiki beach, near plenty of food, shopping and entertainment venues. Breakfast was a bit ordinary.
"Modern design means cramped bathroom and no locks"
The bedroom design is cool, but it does not make up for the cramped bathroom that has no counters and no places to hang wet beach clothes other than the curtain rod of the shower stall (no bathtub). Also, if you are security conscious, you need to know that the windows are louvered and have no locks (or screens) and that the door to the room opens to […] the outside and there is no lock on the door except for the key card lock. The pictures don't show it, but there are buildings within 20 feet of each side of the hotel walkways. Also, the hotel does not have as many parking spaces as it has rooms. On the good side, the hotel is three blocks from the beach and two blocks from the main drag of Waikiki. Also, the "amenity fee" includes the cost of wi-fi. Lisez la suite

"not a 3 star"
i was extremely disappointed to find out that this hotel was a "dump". the rooms are very tiny, with no black out drapes, no re-fridgerater, the air conditioner leaked water, and the door wasn't secure at all! These are all amenities that the hotel claims to have, but clearly doesn't! It was like my family was living in a match box, also the room that […] i wanted which included a balcony, i didn't recieve. The hotel claims to be a 3 star, but is a 1 star!! I DO NOT recommend this hotel. it was horrible. Lisez la suite
"Given Huge Runaround in Waikiki"
I booked 2 rooms with BALCONIES for 2 nights at Stay Hotel, I was given 2 rooms without balconies. When I addressed this issue at the front desk they claimed not to have any available rooms with balconies - hello it's called a RESERVATION! The hotel staff was clueless about how to resolve this issue and said I would have to check with the manager. […] I came to the front desk 5 times in the course of 2 days to seek out the ever elusive manager - he never showed up! If you book here, it's a good location, but it's so bare bones that the bathroom's don't even have a mirror! Also hotel website claims to have complimentary breakfast - that's false too! So basically if you're looking for an uncomfortable motel with non-existent customer service in a great location, this is the place for you! Lisez la suite
"Close to beach but very noisy"
GOOD- Cheapest hotel available, one block to Waikiki beach, 3 blocks to International Market!! Cheap parking below and next to the hotel. Rooms are a good size with new furniture, T, a Playstation2, fresh paint, plenty of windows, good bathroom products, blow dryer and nice lighting. Hotel is located on Koa Ave which is THE pickup spot for just about […] every tour, cruise or pick up on the island. Seriously, ALL of them. This is also a negative thing (see below) ------- NEGATIVE- Very limited views, none are of the beach. Hotel is short and hidden behind the massive Hyatt. Windows are very very very thin and look like shutters. You can hear EVERY noise as if you were on the street (we were 5 floors up). It was crazy noisy... think garbage trucks, crashing, yelling, beeps from EVERY van reversing, huge buses... All of this starts at 4:30am. We were awake every day by 6am. This allowed us more daylight since we got up early but for people who like to sleep in, this will be a huge deal breaker. Really, it's QUITE noisy. Maybe it's less noisy on the other side of the hotel (the south side facing Diamond Head area) There is no fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker, no safe, no iron and no ice bucket. The pillows are not only super thick, they're very firm and are the opposite of plushy. The mattress is also firm and really not comfortable, though it appears quite new. Not the soft experience I like from hotels. --------- The hotel is not glamorous and the bathrooms look a little old but are extremely clean and well cared for. It's clean, modern and feels more like home than any hotel I've ever been in. The staff is simply superb. We were always greeted and helped by friendly people at the desk. Our room was clean and they left us extra conditioner after I requested an extra bottle once. I recommend this hotel if you want to save a lot of money and don't care about staying in your room or in a pool. Lisez la suite
"For the younger crowd on a budget"
Great location in the heart of Waikiki, very affordable, however keep in mind, no frills. If you want the Hawaii experience without the costs, and you only want a place to rest your head at night while you go out every day, this is the right place for you.

"Great value and location"
1 block off the best beachbon the islamd. 2 blocks from a grocery store and tons of restaraunts. Rooms are clean and bright, but the beds aren't that comfy (too hard).
"prime location"
in the heart of everything, literally.
"Basic hotel"
This is an ok hotel. It is really close to everything and one block away from the main strip. The budget conscious will like this one, but really basic hotel. The parking is really tiny and not much parking. First come first serve.
"Inexpensive & close to Waikiki Beach"
I upgraded to the queen room + futon, and the room was extremely comfortable! The extra space was really nice, and surprising! Clean room, excellent service, and just a block off the beach! Drawbacks: Bathroom is a bit small, but perfect for a solo traveler. Also, there is some street noise, so go with a high floor. Overall, way too many positives! […] I'll be back to this place on my next stay! Lisez la suite
