The price is great and proximity to attractions is good. Room was clean and comfortable. The main complaint is that by 8 AM the complimentary breakfast was almost empty and the staff didn't restock it. Also, the neighborhood isn't the best, but for a short, affordable stay, you can't beat it.

Terrible neighborhood, illegal activities, street walkers and noise ... In the middle of a trashy neighborhood. I was scared to leave my own room to go to my car or get ice. Dirty, violating several codes, run down and uncomfortablerooms. Bad staffing. Horrible breakfast. Spend the extra money and look at least 10 minutes away from here!!!

Decent place to rest in between partying

Great room for the money!!! I'll stay here next year.

Unlike most of the bargain deals I look for, this was not what you pay for is what you get. The desk clerk was friendly. the room was very clean and the bed and linens comfortable. The parking lots around the Ramada are empty. Not many people or guests in the hotel.

Old and not kept up. A/C unit loud. Very dangerous neighborhood heavy with vagrants. Convenience store next door has to lock doors and operate from a slide drawer like a bank.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I was just happy my car didn't get broke into in the parking lot.

Pros: Cheap Convenient Breakfast No strange smells in the room "Motel" configuration Cons: Strange smell in lobby (curry-ish) Shower surround was cracked (cosmetic issue) Very poor quality blankets on bed (rough) This motel is a great value for work travel our someone on a tight budget.

The Hotel is located right off the HWY on a dead end street. The surrounding area is very run down. The Hotel is clean and no pest that I could find big plus. But due to the surrounding area it drives the joy of staying down. would I stay here again Yes but would I take my wife not sure. Great for Truckers or travel.

If you are looking for an affordable place to stay with a clean bed then this hotel serves the purpose. The overall hotel is in need of cosmetic maintenance; it could also use some attention to cleaning in the main areas such as the elevator and corridors, a "fix-it" crew could probably help. I had an issue with my door: I had to struggle with it every […] time to get it to open. The AC unit was VERY loud and it dripped condensation all over the carpet. My room was clean though and after I put a towel under the constant AC drip I was able to sleep. The staff was very nice. (I didn't mention any of the issues to them as I doubted they would be able to do anything about the problems and I didn't feel like moving rooms). Oh! One biggie...make sure you visit Ramada's website for the hotel address. Hotels.com lists the wrong street name: GPS and Google Maps will send you to exit 43 rather than 41. (These kind of issues always seem to come up with addresses on access roads). Lisez la suite

If your looking for a nice hotel for a nice price go here. The staff was very friendly.

When you walk in the lobby it was 90 degrees and that is not an exageration. The rooms were hot and the air conditioners barely worked. The place is run by Indians and they do not think it is hot so I guess they dont think that their customers will think it is hot either. I will never stay their again. It is the end of July and it was 100 degrees outside […] and not much cooler inside. The pool was even warm. The staff was nice and the room was clean. Our smoke detecter went off while we were out (we were gone for hours) and they waited for us to get back before they came in to turn it off. customers were complaining but they waited. Basic hotel nothing special. Clean, everything worked, and thats what I paid for.

this wasnt a bad hotel for the price and location of house close it is to most of the main attractions in charlotte, was a very basic hotel....not nice but not bad, i'd stay there again.

staff was helpful enough,but room had no bathroom tissue,soap,wash cloths.was not that clean.air cond.would not keep room cool.outside and inside both seem to need a little better up keep. would not recommend.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean, although it did appear the building is older. Shower was awesome, we had almost immediate hot water. This hotel was a great stay. It was clean and was close enough to the Time Warner Cable arena. My three night stay there was comfortable and I would recommend it for someone who is in need of a quality hotel for a reasonable price.

THE FIRST ROOM THEY GAVE DID NOT HAVE THE HEATING WORKING, THE REPLACEMENT ROOM THEY GAVE, THE PHONE DID NOT WORK. FOR A NAME AS RAMADA, IT WAS LESS THEN EXPECTED, COMPARABLE TO LOWER PRICED MOTELS.

This hotel is very low quality/standards. Located in bad neighborhood.

Over all - not an unpleasant facility. Not a whole lot of effort spent on housekeeping the common areas but the room was adequate. The continental breakfast was good and the coffee was good. But I kept seeing the same trash / dirt on the hallway floor each day of our stay.

After checking in and being directed to the second floor, the first person we saw was a man who practically ran to his car and raced out of the parking lot - followed by a woman wearing nothing but a shirt and carrying the rest of her clothes. She proceeded UP the stairway where she made some phone call and tried to get into her pants! Then we were […] told by a landscape worker that a man down the row has two vicious pit bulls and that we should be on the lookout for them! Then we found out that the dead bolt on the door did not work so since the maintenance man had already left for the day, we moved to the next room over. We stayed for our full reservation (one week), but it was a nervous week. Also, EVERY morning in the wee hours, some "screecher" alarm sounded for about 15 minutes. The hotel is very close to places we are visiting in Charlotte. Very affordable and offers free internet (wireless access) and free continental breakfast. Hotel staff was very courteous and filled the breakfast items that were empty slightly before 9 AM. The hotel is near an exit off i-85. I felt the hotel offered a good value for the money.

The hotel was decent for the price that I paid. It is located right off of 85 which makes it very convenient. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a long-term stay, but short-term is fine.

I would not recommend this hotel or hotels.com to anyone. My wife and I took a vacation with our children and the Ramada was one of our stops on the way. We have three young children and needless to say I did not feel safe while at the hotel. We were given the impression for hotels.com that this was a nice, clean, hotel with great ratings that was running […] a great room special. When we arrived the businesses around the hotel all had prison barbed wire at the top of their fences, the hotel had signs that read lock your car and take all possession out, and the hotel was very ran down with siding falling off. We went into the room. There was dirt and trash in the hallway and on the floor in the room. It was late so I unmade the beds for our children and found sheets that had not been changed. One bed had dirt in the sheets and were wrinkled in a way that could only come from someone sleeping on them. The second bed had pubic hair on the flat sheet. We called the front desk and could not get our money back due to the contract with hotels.com and the Ramada so they gave us another room. This one had been cleaned but was still very ran down. Due to the late time we decided to stay. We woke up to go down and get breakfast. They had told us at the desk that the continental breakfast ran from 6:30-9:30 AM. We entered at 9 AM to find no food was there. We left immediately. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially someone with children. Lisez la suite

Clean, smelled nice, close to everything we wanted to do in Charlotte. I had a good time. I do not like that the Pool is closed at 11. I think that's unnecessary as there is no lifeguard at any point. As an adult i should be able to swim whenever. Also, i left my phone charger on accident and i realize that it is my fault but it mysteriously disappeared […] and that's unfortunate. I know i left it i remember where i put it, and i would have went back to get it if it hadn't grown legs. Lisez la suite

The hotel was fair. Not in the best part of town.

the room itself was ok, kinda small but neat. the lobby of the hotel had an unfortunate smell. the exterior was pretty beat up as well. the sheets were clean which i was actually surprised about but if i had a choice i probably wouldn't stay there again. and the surrounding neighborhood was not the most pleasant to say the least. we ordered pizza because […] there weren't any decent restaurants around...but even the pizza guy wasn't familiar with the location of the hotel. Overall, this was a good lodging experience. The hotel was generally clean, although there were some major stains on the carpeting and upholstery in my room. They could do without the "breakfast"--the waffle batter was really watered down. I have seen, stayed in Ramada Inns before and this one is in need of a severe face lift and better security. I never got the feeling that it was a safe place to stay in. The price was alright but the swing bar lock on my room looked like it was possibly broken in the past and was barely on the door. Staying at a hotel during a remodel of their lobby is a nightmare, the elevator was not available and for someone with back problems that was a pain in the back.
