Hotel de type hacienda. Accueillant. Propre. Calme. Les chambres sont spacieuses et tout y est. On a testé le spa et la piscine : génials après une journée de route. Il n'y a pas eu de vruit la nuit. Le petit déjeuner est bien fourni (salé et sucré). Parking gratuit. Dans une zone industrielle. Près des magasins.

This hotel was probably the most luxurious in the area in its day, although now is aged and a in serious need of an update. I would recommend staying here if you need a comfortable, relatively clean hotel just for sleeping.

This motel was just what we needed. No frills, but adequate and clean. I needed to do some work during my stay, so I liked that the room had a desk and sofa with coffee table, in addition to adequate internet. The shower head was WAY low, even for me (5'5"). The "gym" left something to be desired, so I instead jogged to the starbucks/ walgreens/ burrito […] place/ grocery store area nearby. I also jogged through the neighborhoods - I was fine (single 20-something female) but wouldn't want to be jogging there at night. As a plus, the continental breakfast was great and better than expected - eggs, bacon/ sausage, breakfast potatoes, yogurt, make-ur-own waffles, cereal, oatmeal, juice, muffins, and other goodies. The TV is the "old style" tube, and they have a VHS player. Why a VHS player, you might ask? Because they have a VHS library in the motel office. Be sure to ask. Also, bring your own corkscrew because the office does not have one, and this place is not exactly a wine-drinking town (or craft beer, for that matter). As a plus, there are coin-operated laundry facilities that are easy to access and use. This was great for me in the middle of my trip. I also recommend you check out the 'downtown' area where you can eat at Kitchen restaurant. If you ask for a sample of the beers before selecting one you will not be disappointed. On the whole, the Comfort Inn was clean and spacious. Stay here if you need a reasonably priced place to chill. Lisez la suite

Quiet large room hotel, friendly personel

We really liked the comfortable size of the rooms and beds. We felt really relaxed the next day. The breakfast was good too. There was a large room with sufficient number of tables to sit down. This was much better than the most basic "continental breakfast" you are sometimes offered in other hotels.

This Hotel is beautiful and clean, the front desk people was very warm and welcoming. It's very quiet and clean, clean, clean, LOVE it!

I had a great time staying at the comfort inn

Although this hotel was off the beaten path, it offered a good breakfast and was clean. Bed was sunk in middle but I do like the two sink arrangement for the bathroom.

Just off the main roads, i agree with all the comments regarding the good breakfast, yes it was good. I got good sleep and that's the most important thing. Very nice front desk staff who gave good directions to downtown, starbucks etc. The hotel was full so i am glad i booked early !!

My husband, myself and our two sons ( 5yrs old and 3 mths old) stayed at this hotel for a few nights. After traveling for almost a month and staying at different hotels we could compare them based on prices, locations, service etc. We were extremely pleased with Comfort Inn in Oxnard. I made a last minute reservation when a business trip materialized. I received a special last minute rate that was VERY reasonable and then when I arrived they said they did not have the type of room I requested so they upgraded me. It was already a great deal so I was extremely pleased with the surprise upgrade. The room was comfortable, clean, had […] a mini-fridge, and a microwave. I do not know if all rooms have both but mine did. The included breakfast was much more than just continental and included eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, etc. While it is clear this is an older establishment and not what I would call fancy, they have done a very nice job of making it comfortable and a nice place to spend a few nights. Super breakfast. Nice staff.

The location was quiet, and relatively convenient to getting too and from Malibu where I had to go every day. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

Overall good value for the rate you're paying. Clean room, ok location, good breakfast and free internet. It's only the "old" room smell that's not good.

Everyone was awesome and very helpful. They have breakfast and dinner. Loved the atmosphere very home like. Very nice room. Just loved this place. A must to stay at if you are in the area.

Chose this hotel last minute. It was very affordable. Found it easily and staff was polite and friendly. Room was bigger than average and clean. Read it had a good breakfast and was amazed how nice it was. Will stay there again.

There was an unpleasant, pervasive smell that makes this a place I would not stay again. Also, the shower head was moldy .......

I've read some of the bad reviews and was reluctant to book. I am so glad that I did book with this hotel. I did not see any bodily fluids or stains mentioned in prior reviews. Everything was clean and well maintained. I was really impressed with the comfort and ambience of the room. My kids loved our room. They serve an excellent full breakfast. The […] pool was rather small and was only 3-4 feet deep. It is open until 10PM and it is not monitered. There were kids playing there all night long. There is a laundry facility as well. I have been more than satisfied with this hotel. The continental breakfast is the best I have had for a free breakfast at a hotel. The beds are super comfortable. The shower is nice. The bed was extremely comfortable, which was nice after a long days ride and concert at the amphitheater. The room was clean and inviting as well. However, it was a ways off from the freeway and seemed to be located in a light industrial area which wasn't great. During my family stay at this hotel there was noisy, drunk, disruptive thugs that stayed. When we voiced a complaint the issue with the disruption was not resolved. They offered us anther room, where we were to be charged and when I went to pull the covers back to lay may 3 year old grandson, there was blood from bodily fluids on the sheets. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for", I paid just below the average price (for the location) for this hotel. And the hotel was just below average. The room was average with perhaps one of the oldest televisions in America. Plus' - Cable internet and the free breakfast with waffles. (Come on who doesn't love waffles!) - Managers special happy […] hour. (Come on who doesn't like cheap beer!) - Location. Pretty close to highway 101 and even though Oxnard is not the hub for the greatest of food choices, there still are several fast food and grocery stores within walking or short driving distance. Negatives - When I checked in I am assuming that there was a wedding or some kind of party going on in the hotel ball room that when on all night, and the bass from the music continually shook the walls of my room. But that was only the first night. - Previous reviews said the staff was very friendly which was only the case with the woman at the breakfast bar, everyone else seem pretty annoyed whenever I asked a question... which was only twice. - Cleanliness: The room and several stains (not sure if I just got the Dexter suite) on the floor and it had a stale smell to the place but not a deal breaker. This motel is convenient to where I have to in the area. The Manager's happy hour with a light dinner is always welcome when I can participate and the breakfast rivals anything in the area. The staff is always friendly and courteous. This motel provides a good bang for the buck and is my regular stop when I'm in Oxnard.

I checked in late, checked out late, and was treated with such dignity & respect. The room was in the back, away from the street, so it was quiet, which I really appreciated. I asked for an early wake up call, which I missed picking up, but they made sure that I got a "snooze button" wake up call again! I had to run an errand and when I returned, we […] went to the continental breakfast. Which to say the least, was more than I expected. The hotel had a rustic, aztec feel. For starters I was given a room that was currently occupied at the time. I walked in on a guy on his laptop. How this happens I have no idea. The front desk just simply apologized and gave me a different room. The room I was given the A.C. was not working on it. My son found an old sock next to his bed. The front door had about a 1 inch gap so there […] was no sound proofing. The only positive thing about my stay here was the free breakfast. Overall we just made the best of it. As I stated above. The room carpet had stains and was extremely dirty. The room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. The doormat and the area outside our door was dirty and needed to be washed off. We were disappointed

Standard fair. Hotel was reasonably priced and maintained. Slightly out of the way. Could have used better directions from the 101 Fwy which is the main highway in the area. Breakfast closed at 9:00 a.m. which seems like very short hours for vacation location. Neighborhood is more commercial than I expected but not a problem.

Very old motel. Most outlets were loose and didn't secure plugs. Room phone was dead, even after we reported to front desk in person. A/C and exhaust did not work. Stains on lamp shades and walls.

I booked this room at the last minute for one night on Memorial Day Weekend. That being the case, I didn't expect too much. The property was convieniently located to things that I wanted to do and see. It is an older property that seemed to be clean. However, the air conditioner in my room didn't work at all. Due to the fact that it was a holiday weekend, […] I didn't have much choice. The property did have a pool, a workout room and offered a complimentary breakfast. Room smelled of cigarettes, bedspred had stains, and had to kill a large bug (cockroach?) crawling up the closet mirror.

Good centralized location for most tours in the Oxnard area. Better breakfast than expected; instead of just coffee or "continental" fare, we had a full, quality breakfast with fresh juices, fruit, breads, and waffles, all included in the price of the stay! Best amenities I've seen yet in the price class. Very comfortable...we will definitely stay here […] the next time we are in Oxnard! Lisez la suite
