Ayant réserve une chambre au Rdc , en arrivant je me suis retrouvée au 6eme etage, en guise de petit déjeuner continental 2 distributeurs de cereales, jus d'orange et café tout le reste était en supplément. Tout les autres hôtels pendant mon séjour a Miami ( 1 mois) ont été parfait

En route pour Orlando, nous arrêtons toujours à cet hôtel pour avoir les pieds dans l'eau le matin. Vieil hôtel mais propre et beaucoup d'espace. Le supplément pour avoir la vue sur l'océan en vaut la peine

Everything about our stay was pleasant. We received a pleasant greeting when we checked in, despite us checking in rather late in the afternoon. Booked 10 Rooms for a small conference. Room view was nice. "Kitchenette" meant they had a sink along with a micro fridge and a microwave. Chose it because it was rated 3.5 by guests and had a breakfast. The breakfast was cereal and pastry with some juice and no fruit. They were not clear about this. I was really surprised when I arrived and saw the hotel that I booked. I really expected it to be nicer on the outside and inside. The website said that it is a 3-star hotel and, in my opinion, it was closer to a 2-star. =( The beds were comfortable, but that was really as good as it got.

The pictures are misleading -- the hotel is on the beach, yes, but the grass area and the pool are definitely NOT anywhere near as large as pictured. The rooms are dim and not well lit, the hallways reek of cigarette smoke, and there was even vomit riding an elevator and spilling out of a trashcan right outside on one of the landings for a solid half […] hour. When I arrived I was told that even though there were two people staying in my room, I could only be issued one parking permit, and the other guest would have to park in the parking lot across the street behind a gas station (and completely out of view of the hotel, across 4 lanes of busy traffic). The room was not what we had reserved, and their idea of "ocean view" was a view of the top of the parking garage with a loud AC unit right outside the window. When my partner pointed out these problems, they moved our room to another floor that was what we had reserved and issued another parking permit, but they were very reluctant in helping. Beds were squeaky. Walls were thin. No conditioner provided. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Cannot compare to a larger chain, but it worked for us. Breakfast started too late.

Had a great time for our first time in Daytona. Hotel staff wonderful.

Room requested was not available upon arrival and we were told about a MANDATORY amentities fee of $5.95 per night to use the phone and rent free movies, neither of which we were interested in. We were told if we did not initial by it we would not be able to check-in even though our room had been pre-paid. Hotel staff wasn't very friendly! This was a fairly nice hotel right on the beach. they did put a $50 hold on my card on check in but refunded it promptly. Staff was courteous and helpful. Hard to beat for the price.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel. It seems to have gone down hill since our last stay in 2008. Needs updating and they have cut back to a continental breakfast that is not even worth the bother. Had roaches in the bathroom and the outside windows need some attention.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Oceanside while in town for college cheerleading nationals. In the past we have found it to be an acceptable option for the value. I feel that they have slipped a little since our last visit in 2008. They have limited the breakfast bar to a rather pathetic offering. Almost not worth the bother. One day they missed […] cleaning our room and we had to get our own clean towls from the front desk. The outdated decor has about reached it's limit. I would suggest painting over the murals outside the elevators on each floor. They have run their course and are borderline tacky. Furniture in our room; for example the chairs, some fresh fabric and even just some paint on the bamboo would help. I don't know if it's the carpet or what but the hallways smell like smoke. We have returned to this hotel 3 times because we knew what to expect, location was good and price was a good value. Unless I knew that improvements have been made I'm not sure I would book again. The only Good thing about this hotel was that it was oceanfront! I arrived early but was unable to checkin! They told me they would call me when they were ready but they never did. I had to check back 3 times and they were still not ready. I checked in 20min late, they didn't even have the common courtesy to apologize. All they did was make excuses […] for themselves. The room was big, the bathroom was clean but the beds were old and uncomfortable. The furniture in the room was old and falling apart... carpets in the hallways, they were gross! The description of the room include full kitchen which is not true and many of the people didn't get room that they expected to get (overheard people compaining about it). I had it on my reservation specified but since I didn't need the kitchen I didn't complainted. Same with oceanview. Otherwise, hotel was clean, friendly staff, right but the beach, […] great big pool. Very satified. And free movie rental for your stay right in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again. the room was decent and clean. We didn't have towels initially but that was probably a miss by housekeeping. They also charge $5.95 resort fee. They claim that they provide free continental breakfast. The breakfast was just cereal and coffee. There was one 'honey bun' kind of item but no bread or begals. The room smelled a little funny, but there was an ozone machine running when we went in room, mattress in one bed was replaced with a folding bed mattress, which was about 6" shorter than the boxspring. The front desk was extra nice and breakfast was very reasonable.

The room have a nice view at the beach , the problem is with Ac to many lows noise. The breadfast is soo bad is very poor .

I would have to say that the location is great. The hotel is pretty old and could use some updating. The beds were not comfortable at all. However, the room was clean and you could not beat the view we had on the second floor (ocean view).

Old style interior, old TV and the breakfast is actually no breakfast. But right at the beach and good parking place.

the rooms were great with ocean views. very clean. the breakfast was a big disappointment. Only had cereal that was not fresh. pastries were ok. thought that there would more of a variety of things to eat. was told that we could go across the hall and pay for different food. Our biggest complaint was that our room was cleaned and the towels were taken […] and we did not get fresh ones till after 4 pm. had to keep asking for them and we had just came back from the beach and pool. but recommend. almsot forgot we had only booked for one night but thought we would see if a second night was possible Ms. Glenda was able to keep us in the same 2 rooms for the second night. The lobby was nice, the rest of the place could stand some updating. Missed the continental breakfast 7am -10am. The restaurant was ok, food was good, not over priced. I would stay here again. (No bed bugs found)

Add 5.95 resort fee... This hotel seems 'out of place' for a beachfront resort. It is a center city hotel. No balcony, large locked windows. It does not take advantage of it's good location. LIKE: CLEANLINESS OF BATHROOMS, ROOM AND HOTEL SMELLED NICE, DISLIKE: OUTDATED DECOR, DIRTY WINDOWS (VIEW), NO HOT TUB, THE $6 FEE THEY CHARGE FOR DVD RENTAL REGARDLESS IF YOU USE IT OR NOT, NO STOVE IN KITCHENNETTE, ONE SIDE OF ROOM WAS FREEZING, ONE SIDE WAS HOT. Hotel is not clear when they saw "ocean view." ocean view isn't really an ocean view, ocean front is. There were also cockroaches in our room. Location however was great. Pay attention to the fine details and small print. There's a hidden fee at check out.

Room was large, clean, comfortable. Kitchenette has under counter fridge, micro, toaster, dishes, dish cloths. No stove, just an FYI. Large windows for ocean view/sunrise. But no balcony. Large pool and deck with bar. Easy beach access. Would definitely stay here again.

I have to say the hotel was very clean service was great. Walk right onto the beach. The only thing i would change is the beds. They were the most uncomfortable beds i have ever slept in.

This is an older hotel but is is very good shape. People very friendly & helpful. We also ate at the restaurant for breakfast. Food & service was excellent! I would stay again & look forward to the visit.

everything was good. but i return home to fine bites on my neck and chest. i stay there for 5 days at room 503. I think they might have bed bugs for the bite marks won't show till a week later, right about the time i get back home from the first day of the stay. So if you are going to stay there make you you check the beds and the furniture.

We book through hotels.com when I asked if they had balcony rooms they replied yes, so I booked the room. When I got there they said they don't have any balcony rooms. Also, when you think of a kitchenette you think there would be a little stove or microwave. There was only a sink and fridge. The air conditioning did not work. Only negative is no Hot Tub

My boyfriend and I were headed down to Orlando, but decided to spend the first night of our trip in Daytona Beach. Since we are the fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants types, we decided to wait until we were almost in FL to book a room. The rooms themselves are clean, fairly up-to-date and on the larger side. The bed was rather comfortable, the sheets were […] clean (and not scratchy!!) and everything was in working order. I wouldn't have minded staying here for more than just 1 night!! When we checked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who was more than willing to help with any special requests we may have had. It's a little further away from the 'main drag' area, but not enough to deter you from going out and enjoying all there is to do in Daytona Beach! We were well within walking distance, if you're willing to get a little bit of a work out before shopping or drinking. It is on the beach, which is nice, and you can easily access the beach front. If you're willing to pay a tiny bit more, you can get a room on the water. We stayed with a 'beach view' but not 'on the beach' and had a lovely view of the ocean. There was also a beautiful pool area. While we didn't get an opportunity to use it (we were in a hurry to make it to our next destination), I would've really loved to have had a chance! This place was great and I absolutely look forward to staying here again. I would, without a doubt, recommend staying here to any of my friends. Lisez la suite

The continental breakfast consists of orange juice coffee and one kind of pastry that's all.... And in front of the breakfast area there is another breakfast place where u have to pay to get eggs or even just a bagel.... They shouldnt say breakfast included....otherwise the hotel is pretty clean and the rooms too....

The room was very clean and comfortable except for the carpet which was filthy. One barefoot trip across the room caused black sticky feet. Internet was present but horribly slow reminiscent of 9600 baud dial up days. Complimentary breakfast was coffee, watered orange juice, cheerios and raison bran, and cheap pastry (one variety). The independent contractor […] offering the complimentary breakfast also runs the in hotel restaraunt directly across from the free breakfast alcove. Was charges a resort fee for ??? It is a condotell establishment, that should be advertised up front. The hotel is not responsible for the upkeep of the rooms; the investors/owners make all repairs and improvements which are non-existant. If you want a view of the beach and ocean from every room then this is the best value on the beach and the staff is friendly and cooperative.
