Les prestations de cet hôtel sont excellentes. Cela compense son éloignement du centre qui, toutefois n'est pas difficile à atteindre en suivant attentivement les plans. Quelques difficultés pour l'atteindre depuis l'autouroute en arrivant.

Hotel pratique, à 2 pas du centre de convention et 15 mn à pieds du quartier Français. La conception de l'hôtel engendre par contre beaucoup de bruit lorsque le petit déjeuner est servi. Réveil à 6h garanti!

"midtown rime avec miteux!!!"
alors à l'arrivée, la personne ne nous trouver pas,au bout de 15 min on obtiens la carte de la chambre, couloir en travaux, bruyant, et impossible d'ouvir la chambre, après 3 aller retour pour la carte, la personne vient enfin avec nous, et la surprise, vitre cassé , un froid de canard et lit pas fait et pas de lumière!!!!!elle s'excuse (pas vraiment […] s'incère) et nous donne une autre chambre, qui a notre surpise, et refaite avec une moquette qui montre qu'il y a eu des travaux, pas de tait d'oreiller, pas de papiers toilettes, pas de serviettes et le comble pas de chauffage!! retour à l'accueil, demande d'une autre chambre et l'a refus de sa part et l'ouvrier nous a preter un chauffage d'appoint pour les deux nuits. quartier très crenios, beaucoup de personnes nous on dit de faire attention la journée et le soir. "Older Historical Hotel with lots of Katrina damage"
This hotel should have not been reopened until it was restored from "Hurricane Katrina" and other storms. It showed a lot of damaged and wasn't ready to be in service. It wasn't worth the $208.00. There was no phone in either room. I had requested a roll a away bed that the hotel didn't have and was put in a room that only had one bed for 2 adults and […] 1 child but the hotel staff was nice enough to move us to another room that smelt horrible like it had mold and smoke damage. The bathtub was being worked on when we moved to it and was told it was fixed when the work left but infact it wasn't because the tub was still stopped up when all took a shower. We killed bugs and sleeped with guns at our reach due to door not locking and feeling unsafe in a bad neighborhood. Because we lived out of state, we had no clue. I will not ever stay there again nor recommend it to anyone else. We stayed in Convienton, La the night before in a Confornt Inn & Suites for a lot cheaper and it was a lot nicer and we felt safe there. We mentioned that the bathtub was t fixes at check out and all the hotel stay said, " I am sorry " and didn't offer any compasation at all! But the hotel staff is friendly and all of them smiles. "OK hotel. Not as bad as expected"
Reading the reviews I was expecting a really bad room. The pluses - the room was clean, got towels and shampoo, the TV worked, the staff was very eager to help, close to the freeway. The minuses - I was given a room that had not been made up, there was a woman sittling outside the room smoking who told me she usually slept in that room and that it was […] not ready. On to room number 2, great room but it smelled of smoke. I had requested a non-smoking room. I decided to take it. The remote did not work. It was replaced with another remote that did not work. There was a table to do work but no chair. There was a place to hang clothes but no hangers. No phone, No in-room intgernet, have to go to lobby. 5 miles from the French Quarter. "Never felt as unsafe. Worst hotel ever visited!"
VERY bad area. Lots of people just hanging around street corners. Shady activity. Homeless walking about. Saw a fight outside the room window. Police activity a couple blocks down the road. Parking lot not lit. Had to move the car on to the street because it felt like I could be mugged in that back parking lot. Water dripping from ceiling in room. Water […] spot by bathroom area. The carpet was arouded away there and the underlying wood felt "spongy". Two room lights did not work. Remote either. No bath soap/shampoo. Felt so unsafe almost gave up on the room fee and booked at another hotel. Even had to put a chair up against the door for a small feeling of security. Also, chain lock on door was ripped off. It's definitely not a top of the line, 5 star hotel, but our room was relatively clean besides a few stains on the carpet, and the sheets and towels were clean. Older historic hotel still showing damage from Katrina. Housekeeping does a poor job vacuuming and cleaning up. Beds are ok but some rooms have a bad roach problem. The hotel is alright, and currently undergoing renovations. But: The area is not the best - in 3 nights, there was shots, shouting in the street and so on. Ok, If you are looking something perfectly clean and comfy, this hotel is not for you. But it's not a garage neither, I chose this one because of the special price and the very good location (close to the stop for the jefferson transit to the airport), and it really help me. Had to change rooms 4 times in 2 days. Air conditioning didn't work in first room; water leaking onto floor from a/c in 2nd room; no electric working in 3rd room; finally an OK room but no towels, no toilet paper, no soap, not sure bedding was clean. What did I think??? I think this was and has been the worst experience I have ever had with any hotel that I have stayed in. I had requested the first night I stayed for towel since the room had not come with towels. It took three nights to finally receive them, I had by luck packed a towel in my bag. The only good thing about this hotel was the price. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly but the room was terrible. We only had one light that worked, none of the outlets worked, the tables were dirty, the light in the bathroom didn't work, the shower didn't look clean, and the surrounding neighborhood was very scary.
