I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Kinston, NC for a weekend conference. Having stayed in other Hampton Inns before, I knew it would be very nice. This is a hotel that has renovated many rooms and they are gorgeous with all amenities you would want. I was pleased with everything, especially the wonderful comforters they have on the beds. "Hampton Inn, Kinston, NC"
The hotel was under renovation with over half of the rooms closed. Three adults were in a "double" room--2 double beds (who does that anymore?). The room had not been renovated but was clean. One of the smallest bathrooms I've ever seen to have a full-sized bathtub, but when will maintenance/housekeeping ever learn to correctly hang the shower curtain […] so it stays closed? Overall, an OK stay, but not worth the cost of the room. Lisez la suite
The hotel is older than most other Hampton Inns. The room was quite small, and everything seemed run down. However, the worst part was the night club across the street that had music going until the early morning that could be heard from the room. Next time I go to Kinston, I'll try a different hotel.
"Always nice beds and pillows But..."
I always like the beds and pillows of the rooms, however, it seems that a few things can be improved. The air system is very loud with no way to turn it down, and the carprets carry the smell of Cigarette Smoke even though the room was a smoke free room. If people have smoke in non smoking rooms it should have been reported and delt with and the carprets […] should have been cleaned or replaced. Also can find a way to keep the Exit door from slamming for those who end up in a room by the exit door. Other than that the staff is really nice at the front desk, the people who take care of breakfast, and some of the maids, some need to pay more attention to things needed to be replaced in rooms or done in rooms so notes will not have to be left. But for Kinston, NC this is the best and safest Hotel to stay. I still recommend it. Lisez la suite

"Comfort"
The Hampton Inn was clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious and well stocked. The hotel manager even greated us during breakfast.

Every time I go down to my sister house in Dover NC, I stay at this Hampton Inn. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are really comfortable. The front desk staff is very friendly.
