TRES BON SEJOUR.

"Hotel Knights Inn San Fransisco"
"Downtown Stay"
An excellent low budget hotel for those wishing to save some money. Close to restaurants, main streets and walking distance to major landmarks. I was very satisfied.
"GOOD SERVICE"
GOOD SERVICE VERY HELPFULL AND FRIENDLY STAFF. THE LAUNDRY SERVICE IS BROKEN AND EXPENSIVE. CLOSER HOTELS HAVE BETTER LOUNDRY SERVICE.

"You absolutely get what you pay for"
My husband and I decided to go to SF just cause so I reserved the cheapest hotel I could find in an ok location so.....we got to the place at 2 am the clerk first couldn't find my reservation, then I asked me if paid it online, then he asked me to look in my account to make sure I paid. 15 minutes after he still can find my reservation, he asks to see […] the MasterCard I paid for which was way wrong cause I paid with a visa!!! And after waiting to verify the payment I asked him just to cancel everything n I would go somewhere else to what he replied that I was still gonna be charged since they don't accept cancellations after 4 pm (the raservation he couldn't find) so after waiting for 25 min irritated n tired he agrees to let us stay but I have to come back in the morning and make sure I paid!!!! Anyway so I asked where I should park n guess what!!!??? There was no more parking spaces n I had to find a parking spot on the street. When I was abou to chop his head of he "allowed" me to park at the garage at a handicap spot with only condidtion to promise to move the car early in the morning (meaning in the next 6 hrs) to a "normal" spot. Ok when I thought everything was over we get to the room the comforter had a WHITE stain!!! Oh yeah n forget about a mini fridge or a microwave. Lisez la suite

"Free parking, but is it worth it?"
This hotel is split, part near the office, and part on the other side of the street. The side with the office is reasonably nice (for a cheap motel), I've stayed there before and had good experiences. The other side is a crumbling mess with no elevator and rickety construction that lets you hear everything for 2 rooms around. The bed we had was rock […] hard and slanted to the side, so I had a backache for 2 days. The ancient TV only got a few stations clearly, the rest fizzled out most of the time. I'll probably stay there again because it's convenient, but only if I can specify which side of the hotel I stay in. Lisez la suite

"Not a good place"
This hotel is pretty bad. Rooms are tiny. Front desk staff is VERY slow (not sure why). There were people in the lobby waiting to complain about no heat in their room, and someone had $1,200 stolen from their room. No one seemed to want to own that issue. The desk person pointed us across the street to park, but said we'd have to wait til she "cleared […] the lobby" before we could get into the garage. We didn't wait but found other parking. Shower door would not stay closed while showering. Towels VERY thin. Vintage hairdryer. Not a good place to stay... but it WAS cheap... for SF. Lisez la suite
"Knights Inn - Downtown. Not for a Family."
The check-in was extremely slow over 20 minutes. No line, just long processing time. Toilet plugged, shower didn't work. The parking was free, not that common in SF where it's an extra 12.00 to 30.00, and they offered a location where they close the gate and lock it a around 9pm--good if you aren't planning on using the car. The room was clean, just […] the above mentioned things didn't work and other things were broken down. Dark off the path neighborhood, not recommended for families. I was alone so that part was fine. It was within walking distance to the warfield where I went to see a concert. They have a 125.00 deposit even if you pay by credit card that is suppose to be removed 1 business day after your stay. I stayed Tuesday night and it is Friday and the charge is still on my credit card. I have an up to the minute advanced system of all my transactions. I hope they aren't planning on trying to bill me for their defective toilet. It is okay if you are just spending a night and are a secure man, but other than that I wouldn't recommend it. "Knights Inn - San Fran - Basic But Satisfactory"
This hotel was basic & a bit dated. It was clean and pleasant with a few faults. On arrival we were placed in the hotel across the road from reception - no traffic signals or safe means of crossing the road. We then faced 4 flights of stairs with 2 heavy suitcases as they have no elevator in the adjacent building. The bed itself was nice & big, however […] the sheets did not fit the bed appropriately & there were some kind of plastic sheets over the mattress which I can only describe as one which would be used when bed wetting is an issue.... This was sticky & highly uncomfortable when the sheets were already coming off the bed. We were also told on arrival that the Wi-Fi was not working in the rooms & we had to sit down in reception across the road if we required it. This was also somewhat of an inconvenience. We only stayed in the Knights Inn for 3 nights, I think any longer out surroundings would of been an issue, but for the main part, the hotel itself was clean & presentable. Lisez la suite
"Knights Inn - place to stay near Moscone Center"
I know there has been some negative reviews about this hotel, but as a seasoned traveler it is one of the better hotels I have stayed in. It is in a very unique location and close to the Moscone Conference Center and Market Street (where all the shopping is). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will be staying in the area and doesn't […] mind not staying at a "ritzy place". The only downfall is they do not have an airport shuttle specific to the hotel, but the hotel does arrange shuttle transportation when requested. This is a very easy city to get around and walking anywhere is easy from this location. Lisez la suite

There was no air conditioning, no elevator. The iron did not work. The linens and curtains were badly stained.
"What a dump!"
Maybe the main part of the hotel was nicer but I was put across the street. No elevator. Greeted by a filthy dingy looking couch- then the stairs. Tiny room. Air conditioner worked first day but not second. Windows opened into a light area that just looked out to machinery and other window. I was afraid to touch the bedspread. The place was bad. Really […] bad. Lisez la suite
"Did not even earn its 1.5 stars"
This was a very bad hotel. Check in took over 1.5 hours with just two people in front of us. We were sent to the old broke down knights in across the street with no wifi and had to cross a busy SF street to get to the lobby. Location was in one of the worst parts of town. There was a dark curly hair on our "clean" pillow. Luckily, we brought our own […] 600tc bedding, pillows and duvet. The windows had no screens and would not actually lock. We had to put hangers in the windows to secure while we slept and when we went out. When checking out, we were accused of stealing their bedding!! This was the only place we could get because it was the Nike marathon weekend. Not cheap for the night. Glad we survived. Lisez la suite

"Knights inn"
My stay was ok at the Knights Inn price was within my range. Thank you
"Knights Inn - Downtown San Francisco"
Thats was the most disappointing Hotel i have every stayed in first of all there is no early check in, it says that it has shuttle to and from the airport that is a lie no shuttle from and 15 dollars a person to go back to the airport. And the rooms Tv was cloudy the drapes had water spots the bed spread had a brunt spot on it. I was only given one […] set of towels when i called down to the front desk the young lady said she was by her self and she had other guest and could not bring me the towels,i told her that i was i guess to and you already have my money so i"m not important now, And it also cost me to store my bags where other hotels this is a courtesy . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. O did i say that the elevator you have to push the 3 floor button to get to the 2nd floor and the vending machines did not work. Lisez la suite

"Hotel in San Francisco"
Bed was very uncomfortable. Not enough towels and when I got more towels, the cleaning lady took some of them when she cleaned the room. There were no directions on how to program T.V. When I called front desk, clerk couldn't help. She did call maint. We won't stay at Knights Inn again.
"Knights inn is a Decent Hotel"
Was in town with friends for a show at the Civic Center. It was inexpensive and only about a half mile walk to the venue so it was convenient and a little cuter than i expected. I was not cleaned very well but it did the trick. I just hope the cleaners are more thorough in the future. Other than that the service was great and property was suitable and […] the suite was roomy. I would stay again Lisez la suite
"You get what you pay for"
This Hotel is close to Union Square, the Opera, City Hall and the Yerba Buena area where the SF Museum of Modern Art is located. However, you need to walk through some bad streets in order to get there or to find most public transportation (Market St); so be prepared to "meet" some bumps, drunks and the occasional "crazy" San Franciscan. The Hotel […] is old and the annex building across the street (not where the main building and the Hotel lobby are located) is even older and lacks of proper maintenance (there was a leak in the bathroom coming from the room above us. Cleaning staff did a good job, but the general condition of the room didn't help. And don't count on breakfast, they serve coffee (a very bad coffee) and one danish, but you have to be among the lucky early birds to get to grab one. Bottom line, if you want to save money and all you want is a bed and a bathroom, this is a good option. Otherwise, look for something else, preferably closer to Union Square, Chinatown, LIttle Italy, North Beach or Yerba Buena... Lisez la suite
"The Knights Inn SF"
It was O.k. not bad not great but the staff was pretty friendly, and helpful. I would stay there again if I had to
"okay if you just need a bed and shower"
Nothing to really say as this is just an average motel/hotel for a bed to sleep in if you're travelling to SF on a budget. The hotel offers free wifi but we were in the rooms across the street so we were unable to pick up the signal from there; so free wifi only if you can pick up the weak signal. One good thing is that its not too far from the Bart […] and Muni station. About 3-4 blocks. Lisez la suite

Location wasn't the best if you were looking at going to Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39, etc. but public transport (taxis) were everywhere and you could easily get one. Facilities were as they should be.
"Knights Inn in San Francisco"
The place was really expensive for the motel but the location was near everything else.
"good enough"
For a cheap rate in SF, go here. It wasn't pretty, but it was clean, safe, and quiet.
"Hotel is a joke..."
the reason i booked this hotel is they claimed to have internet in the rooms. I needed internet to book the remainder of our trip along the coast, however there was no internet at all in our room. I had to cross the street to the lobby to use the internet and even then it took a long time to get access because all the available connections were used. […] I knew this was going to be a bad hotel because the first thing that greets us is a sign saying "food or beverages served here contain chemicals known to cause cancer". Great... can't eat or drink anything they serve. While the location was handy to downtown, this is a sketchy neighbourhood and not somewhere I would want to walk around after dark. Loud drunks would scream into the parking lot (where I had to wait to get a spot) and you could hear them all through the building. The room was tiny and smelled funny although the sheets were clean. No fridge, the TV was small and had 4 channels that worked. The "continental breakfast" consisted of crappy coffee and a danish -that is if you were there early enough.. they were all gone at 8am. For the price I would have expected a much nicer hotel and unless every other hotel is booked and you are desperate for a room I would avoid this hotel and it's complete lack of amenities. My next trip to San Francisco will definitely be in a different hotel. Avoid! Lisez la suite
"a few issues"
the ceiling had a great hole in it which was roughly plastered over the bathroom door was broken so if you closed it while inside you couldn't get out the maids seemed tho think that toilet paper was unnecessary
"You get what you pay for"
I am a spoiled traveler. I sought this hotel because I needed to be close to the federal building. The pictures presented a older but rather nice looking room/hotel. Staff was pleasant but it takes about 10 min to check in and when there are 4 folks in front of you it's a long wait. The the lock on the door didn't work with my card. Only one staff - […] not maintenance- around to checkin and take complaints. Another guy who just arrive from France had no water, and another couple's shower shot up rather than down. Not great but it gets worse. The location although close to the federal building is full of aggressive beggars, crackheads, homeless folks and mentally unstable folks. I was traveling alone for work so I was very cautious. I welcomed the smell of car exhaust because it had to smell better than the urine smell that was stiffling and everywhere. It must have been the worst neighborhood in San Francisco. Lisez la suite

"Easy to get around"
The area around this hotel was not an issue if you have any street smarts. Do not be surprised to see men in spandex with nothing else but a few leather straps so you may want to explain this to any children in your group before going. The location was great for a ball game and walking distance to everything else. We caught the BART to Oakland as well […] and the station is only 3 blocks away. The room was super clean but the front desk was slow. I would stay there again because the price was right and the room was great. Lisez la suite
"Close to Folsom Street venues & events!"
Amazing location if you're planning to attend any Folsom "leather-oriented" events or venues. Incredible new coffee bar a few doors down- feels like Chelsea (called Sight Glass) Very gay friendly hotel. Friendly & efficient staff. Off the beaten path if you're in SF for the usual sights and sounds. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Good maid […] service. There's an annex across the street that isn't quite as wonderful and open-air as the main complex. Good rates and I think a terrific place to stay. (but that's just me.) I'd stay there again!!
