Room and hotel were what one would expect from a holiday inn. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.

The hotel location was my goal, it is in between the airport and the downtown.There are many stores and fast food in the area. Rooms are nice and clean.

We found it to be a very friendly and clean atmosphere. The front desk employees were vey nice and helpful! The food there also was very good and the cleaning lady we had was also very friendly and efficient a special thankyou to her.

We had a good overnight stay at the Holiday Inn. Staff is friendly. Room facilities are excellent and comfortable. Room was very clean. Lounge was nice with decent food. We only had two (related) complaints: The hotel is quite far away from the airport. Although we got the complimentary van right away at the airport, the return trip did not happen. […] The two morning slots (every hour) that we could have used were full. My bed was somewhat uncomfortable. I think the hotel should rotate the mattress more often. The hotel is not close to anything of interest. I had to dine at the hotel which was OK, but people looking for more options or things to do after hours should either rent a car or look for hotels closer to downtown.

I stayed here on business. The hotel is nice enough and clean enough, but the walls are very thin - I could hear every little thing going on in the rooms next to me. Nice room, but very poor entrance. Only room for one person at a time, able to use entrance. Bathroom small, door must be closed to reach toilet paper and sink is in the bath room not in hallway, where others could have used it.

This hotel is good for the airport if you have just arrived or are leaving in the morning but it is not a good location if you are staying in Calgary.

Management very friendly and helpful. Nice, well maintained facility. Beds clean and comfortable. Nice restaurant, gAood servers and delicious food.

Front desk staff were very helpful. Housekeeping staff must be very well trained. This was the cleanest bathroom we had seen in our nine nights on the road. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Calgary

Clean. Friendly staff. Dinning room service was great. My only complaint was a noisy air conditioner fan in my room. Close to the international airport.

This was a terrific hotel to stay in. The room was clean and comfortable. My only beef was that the ad showed that breakfasts were included but they were not. The front desk said that that would not be possible for the price we paid.

Overall a good choice, and helpful, courteous staff. I had read many reviews of Calgary airport hotels that complained off leftover damage from previous trailer trash guests, but there was nothing like that here. Note that the situation with the rebuild around Calgary's airport makes things a bit odd, in that there are perhaps 2 hotels that are somewhat […] in proximity to the airport. Most, like this, are closer to the downtown, however this does not pose any real problems with access. Just don't go driving out by the airport to find it. For a room just to wind out a long intercontinental flight and continue on our trip, you can ask for little else. A TomTom verified 12 minutes from airport to hotel along the Deerfoot Trail cant be sniffed at under the circumstances, although the Hotel is directly on the flight path of the Airport and also sitting next too the Transcanada, However, […] noise intrusion was not a big problem, The room was very comfortable with a kitchenette and free wifi, bath was a bit of a joke and, without being crass the toilet had a particularly high water line for my British taste.. Still, not a bad room all-in-all. Wife and kids used the "spa" and were not unhappy. However the staff did have a bit of a problem with language. Rightly or wrongly I don't think that English was their first tongue which caused some complicated and on our part embarrassing conversations with staff, In one almost Fawlty-Towers like case when asking one of the waiters which beers were on offer, neither myself or my wife were entirely sure what they were saying. With a British shug of the shoulders we just agreed with whatever the chap said.. A local honey Beer as it happens which wasn't too bad fortunately.. Cant complain about too much more.. Clean and very nice. we wanted close to the airport and even with road construction in the area we were only 10 minutes getting to the airport.

This Hotel was filled with luxury from top to bottom. It was very clean, fabulous beds with fluffy pillows and spacious rooms. Fridge and microwave in room. New furniture too! Great tasting dining room in Hotel. Also the Hotel has a business center with free internet to get boarding passes and check your emails.

The stay at the hotel was wonderful. They tried to correct a mistake made by Hotels.com. The hotel staff were very courteous, friendly and accommodating. Only two minor drawbacks prevented me from giving this hotel a total "five star" rating. First, the toilet in the bathroom was not suited to men; being one of those teensy circular types, instead of having an elongated bowl. Second, access to the Calgary Airport was more than "difficult" because the most practical route was closed due to re-construction […] of the road along the east side of the airport campus and not marked by observable "Detour" signage. no complaints whatsoever about the hotel but walk in rate better if you want to chance it.

The Holiday Inn at Calgary Airport is supposed to provide basic, clean, comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price, and it does that well. Everything works, including the free internet, the staff is very helpful and the breakfast buffet is OK . The rooms smell clean and the beds are comfortable.

Everything about my stay at this hotel was fantastic. It was incredibly clean. One small complaint would be the fridge which I didn't notice come on and off until sometime in the middle of the night.

We flew 30 hours from Sydney and when we reached calgary rang for airport transfer, they arrived within 10 mins, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, had a spa which was lovelly and hot, the room was very comfortable and the bed was very welcoming. I arrived very late and tired - wanted to notify the cleaning staff not to disturb me - but could not open the door to put out the sign -- called the clerk who came immediately, tried the door and then helped me move to another room.

We were not at all happy with this hotel. Our booking was made with Hotels.com (who are very professional, and with whom we have no issue). On arrival our reservation was not as per our confirmation. Our booking clearly stated that "full; breakfast" was included, (being for three people).However we were presented at reception with a voucher for $20 […] - total, for breakfast. We approached the staff member regarding this, who responded with "that's how we do it", and that the problem should be addressed by US with Hotels. com. We made the point that the issue was one of communication between the hotel and its agent. This was rejected, and the staff member simply provided us with a direct phone contact with Hotels.com, and sent us on our way. We phoned Hotels.com, who agreed with our position, and made their best efforts with the staff, to no avail. Hotels.com did the right thing and credited us back some funds themselves, for which we were very appreciative. The hotel is well located for the airport. It has a good fitness room and pool area. Beyond that, coupled with poor staff attitude, our experience of the hotel left much to be desired. We would not recommend this hotel. Lisez la suite

The food was below average, Service was slow. if you a business traveler with limited time, this is not a holel for you.

Convenient to the airport and other facilities. Comfortable room. Friendly staff.

Not to be confused with the Holiday Inn Express. Everything was great. Only thing that was suprising, for a new hotel, it lacked the number of elec outlets on the desk for using several devices.

The hotel staff was friendly and the place looked good. They had plenty of parking and a good location for driving major roadways. The rooms seemed very well maintaned and clean. I can't say I could ask for any more in that respect. I'd definately consider staying again next time I'm in the area. There are a few notable downsides to my stay. The hotel […] restaurant was not up to standards. While it was visually pleasing, the service was slow, the food was mediocre and it was all overpriced. My biggest complaint would have to be their internet speed. As a business traveler I need something to entertain myself in the evenings. Often I'll try to stream movies from a subscription service I have, but it was nowhere close to capable. I could barely even load a youtube video. It would take 10 minutes to load a 3-4 minute clip. Great Location, only thing i did not like was that our room can be access to the other room and the door which separate both rooms were almost 2'inch high and you can hear the people in other room.

Great hotel stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Great restaurant, kids ate free under 12. This hotel was close to shopping, zoo, Heritage Park. The furthest we had to drive was about 30 min to Calaway Park. Would definitely stay again.

Good hotel to stay in. It was clean, the staff was helpful and it was close to alot of places in Calgary. I would stay there again for sure!

Wonderful stay! Everyone working at the hotel had a smile and was very polite. Will stay here again.
