I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was great. I loved their breakfast it is a must have.

This is a great hotel, so don't get me wrong in the next line. Because it had one an award we expected the hotel to be a little fresher and newer in its appearance. It was a little down at the heels but not enough to change our evaluation of over 4 points.

Very clean, affordable, nicely tucked away for a get away! Great renovations!

I did not know there was a dog show going on. I believe the Clarion was housing every dog owner in the city. The dogs barked most of the night. I had to call front desk. Not to mention, one of the owners set up a kennel directly in front of my room. That was miserable!!

Very nice the room that we reserved through Hotels.com was not available so we were given an upgrade to a suite. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Nothing special, no better than many more in this price range so it's over rated and priced Ran out of breakfast early, didn't bring anything else out very fast either, so we just did without

we got this hotel for 1 night and my younger sister decided to dye her hair and the smell was there when we checked out because she and just dont it. they charged us 200 because we didnt take out our own trash and the smell of the hair dye.

I spend a lot of nights in hotels of all types. For the money this was a great deal. The value received in the room was equal to a hotel costing 50% more. Yes, it is a motel with outside entrance but it was very quite.

The room was clean and well-maintained. This is my third visit and will stay there again. A very good value.

From the outside it looks a bit old and dated, but they have done a good job with the renovations. The bath tub was so clean, I was really impressed. Nice flat screen TV and very comfortable king sized bed. For the price I thought it was a great deal. Desk staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffett was an added bonus. So definitely not your style if you prefer luxury - an older style, room doors opening to the exterior type motel, but rooms were clean (though small) and the bathroom was a bit small with bright, hospital-like light bulbs. More like an old fashioned motel built to current standards. Entry is from outside, no interior halls. Small but comfortable and well arranged room. Mattresses firm and very comfortable. On site restaurant, "Orchard Bar and Grill" is a fantastic Mexican Restaurant. Expect a large plate of food for the price. My wife's side of the family is in Greenville so we visit often and bring our dog along for the ride. For the past few visits we have stayed at Clarion and we love it. The hotel is a block away from the mall, plenty of eating options within 5 minute radius and we actually walk to our favorite breakfast place (Stax) which is a 2 minute walk from the […] hotel. On line discount reservations made this stay a good deal. Hotel has old fashioned outside access to all rooms, but has recently been renovated. Everything worked, clean room and beds, pleasant shower. One or two minutes from a large mall and numerous restaurants. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bagel and juice had us out early headed to our destination. This hotel was in a great location; close to the mall and major roads. There was a hot breakfast buffet; I just prefer fruit and bread, but I know many like a hot breakfast. The hotel was nice. I was disapointed that I was charged extra for "early check in."

Motel was in a good location for my visit. Rooms were clean, and staff was very coperative and curtious. Breakfast included the "usual continental" fare plus scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, and hot buscuits.Only "less than desirable feature" would be that office/restaurant was on a hill , away from the rooms. Stayed here two nights on a business trip. It's very convenient...just a few mintues from Route 385 and less than a 10 minute drive into Greenville. Good breakfast spread and very nice pool. Clean and quiet with good service from the front desk staff.

Situated close to Haywood Mall, adn in easy access to public transport to downtown Greenville. Staff were most helpful to our needs.

The staff were very friendly. We thought the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. My son loved the breakfast, it was a nice surprise to see a hot buffet. Looking forward to returning to visit Greenville and staying at the Clarion.

The room was nicely remodeled and comfortable. The floor space was narrow, and with extra long beds it made it a little tighter than normal but it was adequate space. I would prefer a little more space if staying a week but for 1 night it was fine. The staff was very friendly and made a follow up call once we were settled in our room. We were travelling for 16 days and stayed in numberous 2-3 star hotels. This was the worst. There was black mold all over the bathroom tile, which made me doubt whether anything else in the room, including the sheets, were clean. Bath towels were inadequate too. Bad across the board.

I found the hotel to be a good value. It is recently remodeled, room air conditioner was great and quiet, bed and pillows were comfortable, fast internet connection, nice large screen LCD TV's, refrigerator worked great, nothing bad to say about it. If I were a breakfast eater I would probably have been disappointed in their breakfast.

Room has all the conveniences of an above average hotel. Only disadvantage is that it is disconnected from the lobby and restaurant. It rained hard the night we arrived, so this was an inconvenience.

Not only was the hotel clean and newly furnished, but there was a FULL hot breakfast included! Also, there were 2 groups staying at the hotel, and when we told the person checking us in that we had a baby and had been traveling all day, she worked to put us as far apart from these groups as possible so our room would be quiet. Were told restaurant would be open. Wasn't until the night before we left. Wifi wasn't working well. Called number on flier in room and got someone out of the country who finally said he would have to reboot the system to wait ten minutes...still didn't work. Went to the office and used theirs and it was slow. It not a hyatt but it's ok for a night or two.

My boyfriend and I weren't exactly sure what to expect, but after reading the other reviews for this hotel, we decided to go with the Clarion. The rooms were super clean and newly remodeled with a larger mini fridge and microwave. My boyfriend loved watching football on the flat screen HDTV. I STAYED FOR THE WEEKEND WITH MY GIRLFRIEND, WE ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN,NEW APPLIANCES,MICROWAVE,REFRIGERATOR,42inch TV..THE ROOM WAS CLEANED IN A TIMELY MATTER. NICE HOT BREAKFAST,LARGE DINING AREA. CLOSE TO THE INTERSTATE.. WILL DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN..G

Newly updated; very clean. Workout room was very nice, with new equipment.

I initially felt unsafe as the hotel is situated between a family oriented strip mall and a major highway. My "senior" Mother and I were given a room as far away from the office and as close to the highway as was available. All the rooms are outside entrances. We stayed here on a Friday Night. It looks like the motel has been recently renovated (maybe in the last 2-3 months). The room was clean and all the appliances and furnishings look new. the only down side for this hotel was there were 'tween and teen' soccer teams there for the weekend. The parents did a pretty good job of keeping them under control but 'chase' was a game that could be heard up and down the stairs and halls. the rooms are newly remodeled, clean and near I385, close to down town and Woodruff Rd (where there is tons […] of shopping and food) but Beef O Brady's, OutBack and Copper River Grill were also very close by. For us it was right in the middle of where we needed to be for the visit - Easly and Simpsonville - and still close enough to downtown that we could go enjoy it! Obviously it's not the Hilton, but it an amazing value for the money. From the moment you arrive at the front desk you are treated like a valued customer. The free hot breakfast was fantastic and there was a nice variety of foods. The room was clean and very comfortable.

We loved the coziness of the room and the comfortable bed. Wonderful stay.

I liked the room and the pool and so did my kids. Because of a mix up we didn't realize that we needed to pay for our dog (was the main reason we chose this hotel). When the staff realized we had a dog they instantly assumed we were trying to pull one over on them and were aggressively seeking out more money. The first room I have given did not have working A/C, in fact, the unit had never been plugged in. There were still several items left to be done in the room from the remodel. Second room was much better. Staff was excellent.
