The young man at the desk on Saturday night was very helpful. The room wasn't very clean. Upon arriving in the room, the. At bathroom sink was t clean, Hair on the floor, stained towels. Left a note for for Saturday morning cleaning to have shampoo and soap and extra towels left. And that was done. However, the towels were stained and riipped. We check-in and our room was never cleaned. There were open soaps in the bathroom and no towels. The previous person who stayed there left their room key holder on the tv that still remained there. It was horrible! So, we were able to change rooms where there were long hairs on the shower walls and wasn't much cleaner. We stayed two nights and housekeeping […] never came at all. We never recieved clean towels. When I went to the front desk and got a couple, one had stains on it. Was not a pleasant experience! I will never stay there again! Lisez la suite
"NOT AT ALL LIKE THE PHOTOS"
FRONT DESK STAFF WAS NICE ENOUGH. THE PLACE IS SO RUN DOWN & DON'T OPEN THE CURTAINS AS THE BACK OF HOTEL IS TONS OF TRASH. FREE BREAKFAST WAS OK. THEY STATE THIS PLACE WAS JUST RENOVATED?? NOT-BUT IT'S CHEAP ENOUGH IF YOU DON'T CARE!

Booked us into a dirty room, queen bed advertised was a double with sheets that didn't fit the bed, non smoking room that smelled like smoke, no maid service, room next to us had to put their trash outside their door which wasn't picked up until following day,
Room was very small. There was no garbage can, no closet, 3 pieces of tissue and about 4 panels of toilet paper.

"Good value, convenient location"
The location is great, especially if you are passing through. The hotel is clean and comfortable for the price you pay. Great value.
"run-down rooms & lackluster service"
We checked in just before midnight & just before the overnight guy came on shift. The woman who checked us in had to be called from the courtesy phone because she was hanging out in a room with her friends. She checked us in & told us that housekeeping had done a lousy job and so we should call her back if they hadn't gotten our room clean - they hadn't […] and so after we called her away from her friends again, she put us in a room right next to the lobby, saying we were getting a big upgrade. I'm not sure of how two queens is a big upgrade from one king, but whatever. The room was ok, but shabby, with visible mold or grime in joints on the shower stall and housekeeping hadn't restocked the towels. At 1am someone with a master keycard tried to get into our room and we shouted to scare him off - turned out to be the night shift trying to stock our towels. The woman never indicated that the room was occupied. We found out that it was him the next morning when I went to the desk for towels, and he was nice enough, but we wouldn't have managed to get any sleep if we hadn't been exhausted. Even then, we just about abandoned our pre-paid room to drive down the street and stay someplace tolerable. Basically, we now know where not to stay in the Dells. Lisez la suite
"Clean, but nothing fancy"
The room was clean, but the bathroom was on the small side. This was no frills, but we weren't looking for any for the price. The staff was very accomodating. The beds were comfortable enough and it fit the needs for our trip. The hotel is older and has smoking rooms, so be sure to request a non-smoking room if you don't want a smoked in room.
When we first got there, they told us the room number, but neglect to tell us, before we did circles around the building, that only ONE door works. The hallways REEKED of a very powerful perfume smell, and the room stank worse. the lock on the door was busted off, the toilet did not flush, the bath tub looked as though it had not been cleaned in a long […] time. along with dirt on the walls and garbage on the floors. There were white stains on the carpet and our sheet had a HUGE yellow stain on it. We went during the winter and the heater did not work well, forcing us to wake up all night long to turn the heat back on. this was BY FAR the worst hotel I've EVER stayed at!!! Lisez la suite
"If you have low standards and travel on a budget.."
This hotel does stink of mold. The front desk assured us our room would be quiet being right across from the breakfast room - they've apparently never tried to sleep there. It wasn't terrible but not good either. We stayed one night so we could be at our resort when it opened the next morning so really only slept there. "Very affordable and great location"
This hotel was very cheap and I didn't expect much. For the price, it easily exceeded my expectations. The lady at the front desk was very warm and welcoming. The indoor pool is small, but for the price I paid, I was happy to have any extra ammenities. If your looking for a cheap place to stay in a great location, I would highly recommend it.

"WI Dells Days Inn - close to attractions, ok"
Staff was friendly. Location was nice. The walls in the room were dirty and needed to be wiped down. There were a couple of loud groups there using the public rooms, so that made the common areas less enjoyable. It was an ok stay, but next time I'll try one of the other hotels in that price range.

its a hotel at a fairly reasonable rate i saved money by booking this hotel it was kinda close to many of the attractions yet set far enough away for privacy it was ok i guess very small rooms you only get 3 pillows vs 4

Excellent service! A friend and I were there to run a marathon, the hotel accommodated for a VERY generous late check out time to allow for us to get a quick shower before our travels home.
Horrible hotel
We were a bit disappointed in "breakfast" on the second day there was none.

I reserved 3 rooms for our group of 6. Our friends were given a room that was very dirty - there was a ring in the toilet and hair all over the bathroom. They requested that the bathroom be cleaned. The toilet was cleaned but the not the tub/shower. There was also a leak in a pipe under the sink that soaked the carpet. Our friends asked to be moved […] to a different room, where the conditions were better, but not perfect. Overall, the condition of the hotel is run-down, dated and not well cleaned. It appears that there may have been some type of room renovations started, but the workmanship is questionable. It was obvious that some of the light fixtures in the rooms had been replaced because there were still outlines and screw holes showing from the old ones. The TV in our room stopped working on our 2nd night. We considered ourselves lucky that we did not spend a great deal of time in the hotel or our rooms over the week-end. On the plus side, the location is fantastic - we walked to downtown, and to Paul Bunyan's and we were able to take advantage of the Ho-Chunk shuttle bus to and from the casino. We attend Autumn Harvest Fest every year at the Dells, and would consider staying at the Days Inn again only if they improve the condition of their rooms over the next 12 months. Lisez la suite

"Close to area attractions"
Room smelled moldy. Hot tub jets did not work in pool area. Otherwise hotel was ok. Walking distance to downtown shops.

Standard room was ok, hotel pretty empty so we upgrated to a king which was nice. The staff helped us out. Not the cleanest.

Our room was right next to a maintenance room that had a loud motor that would run very loudly and then shut off the whole time we were there. We went to use the hot tub in the morning before heading out to sight see, and they were draining the tub to change the water. We were told it would take an hour and we would have to wait. I was angry this was […] being done during pool hours and not while it was posted as closed. The bathroom floor in the pool area was pooled with water and floating toilet paper that remained there the whole two days of our stay. Our room keys did not work for longer than a few hours. We had to go to the desk 3 times to get new ones made. No one was there in the morning to maintain the breakfast room. When something ran out, that was it, no more. Only one of the 2 waffle machines worked, and not very well. The donuts looked old. HOWEVER, the people at the desk were friendly, and the location was convenient to downtown. Lisez la suite

Our room was dirty, i.e. there were tiny bugs crawling on the pillows, the bed sheets seemed grimy and had stains on them. The AC didn't work very well and we just couldn't stay there. We left our room keys on the bed after spending 30 minutes in the room and we were so grossed out that we just went to another hotel. We would never recommend this Days […] Inn to anyone. The hotel need to clean there sheets and bedding better because my girlfriend got a rash form it. And for the days in repthat they have I think they need go clean this hotel up abet
The Days Inn in Wisconsin Dells had great service, a super breakfast and the best rates. The outdoor pool was very nice, but sidewalks needed repair, fences needed paint, landscaping needed work and the rooms smelled very moldy. First impressions could be remedied with a little sweat equity.

our room the first night was very nice. The second night we switched to a larger room, because there were vacancies. The room smelled. I went straight to the front desk, and was switched to another comparable room. Friendly service, problem was fixed. Thank You
"Mold in room 164"
Room 164 had mold on the door frame and under the sink. The manager did respond quickly when requested to visit the room, but he contended the mold was dust! It was mold. The room smelled like room freshener when we entered, but in the morning the musty smell was THE smell.
