"Proche d'Halifax par Ferry"
Evalué par Bernard M. de "Suisse" le 24 mai 2011Hotel situé à 5 min du ferry pour Halifax. Le trajet vaut la peine, donc autant loger du côté de Darmouth ou les prix sont moins élevés. Il y a un ferry chaque demi-heure dans chaque sens. L'hôtel a un peu vécu mais est calme et reste correct.

"Service client... À revoir!"
Arrivés à l'hôtel, le front desk nous avise que la chambre reservée n'est plus disponible. Nous avions booké pour un king et nous avons obtenu deux doubles. Les gens à la réception ne nous ont rien offert afin de compenser pour cela. J'avais réservé pour la fête de mon copain. Pour remédier à la situatio , ils nous ont acheminer un gâteau de fête, avec […] le mauvais nom... J'imagine que l'intention était bonne, mais considérant le montant payé pourune chambre que je n'ai pas obtenue, j'ai trouvé cela limite du sarcasme. Comble de tout, à notre retour l'hôtel nous a chargé des frais supplémentaires très élevés par erreur. Quand nous avons tenté de rejoindre le manager, nous n'avons pas eu de retour d'appel. Nous avons du assumer les frais longue distance. En bref, un séjour bien ordinaire au Delta Halifax, un staff très peu compatissant. En rien notre séjour de deux nuits valait l'argent déboursée. Bien situé. Les chambres donnant sur l'intérieur sont intéressantes parce qu'elles ont un balcon et parce qu'elles donnent vue sur une cour intérieure. Si j'avais eu une chambre sur l'extérieur, j'imagine que j'aurais eu vue sur le port, ce qui aurait été tout aussi intéressant. Les tapis mériteraient un nettoyage, il me semble. The fee for the concert parking only covers the time of the concert whereas the hotel fee is for a 24 hour period. I hope this helps explain the difference. My stay was great, although because of distance I should have booked the Delta Barrington but that was my error. We had a disturbance in the hallway in the middle of the night with profanity. This can certainly happen at any hotel, hotel gave us card for discount for our next Delta visit.Avis véridique Hotels.com

We found the hotel well kept, and very central with a pedway that connected to many stores, mall food court and attractions, which comes in handy in case of inclement weather. The hotel was very noisy. There was a hockey game in the Metro center so the hotel parking was full with cars of the people who were attending the game. It was difficult to find a parking spot in the parkade. Don't book this hotel if the Mooseheads are playing in town unless you are attending the game.Avis véridique Hotels.com

I would be embarrassed to charge that rate for that room and to have to pay for parking is unreasonable on top of that inflated price. Unfortunately we were staying at the hotel when it was host various Christmas party so we did conplain about the noise. I found the noise echoed in the room very badly. Pillows were great, but I found the bed could be a little more comfortable for the price we paid for the room. I was hoping for the hotel to be a little fancier. I didnt really look […] exactly like the picture (I dont think they even do). The connection from the Delta to the Mall was nice because we didnt have to walk out in the cold for long. The annoying part of the hotel location was that it was located on a one way street, and we did not know the area well so it was a challenge to get back to the hotel. Other than that the service was very great, very friendly. We had forgot our tooth brushes and they had brought then up to us. That saved us a trip down stairs. "Close to the Halifax Metro Center and restaurants"
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was somewhat dated, especially the bathroom. The bathroom door certainly needed some cleaning and the taps and towel bars should be replaced. The hotel was nice and the staff were helpful...the parking cost an extra $20 bucks and the front arrival area is SMALL and very congested...I was blocked in several times. Location is good, if you get a view of the bay. Bistro is mediocre with less than stimulating food served by a very slow, disinterested staff. "beautiful view from the room"
Unfortunately I was disappointed with the need of repair our room was in.. I thought for what we were paying it would have been in better condition.. The view was fantastic and the service good.. The lady cleaning our room was great... I don't know if I would stay there again....Avis véridique Hotels.com

You need better signage in the parking garage to help people checking in find the garage location nearest the elevators to the hotel. Only two elevators running meant long waits -- run all three please.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Superb location and service"
The location is excellent downtown. A short walk to the Waterfront, handy for the #1 bus to the Halifax Shopping Centre and only a few minutes from the bars of Argyll Street. The pool is good and the bar service very good. Reception staff very friendy, helpful and efficient.Avis véridique Expedia

"Nice hotel, a bit pricey"
Lovely hotel, great rooms. The price was outlandish for Halifax though, and it was difficult to get around the hotel because of its layout. A lot of walking required. Parking is difficult. The staff was excellent.Avis véridique Expedia

The Hotel is great for location ,Needs bit of a face lift carpets in corridors need cleaned , Staff were very helpfull and could not do enough for you . Would come back ,Avis véridique Expedia

"Delta does it again!"
Overall the room was great - it appears to have been renovated. The only thing that was not renovated was the noisy air conditioning unit that would squeal and moan through the night. We got use to it throughout our stay. Food was great in the hotel restaurant and it was quiet as we were on the fourth floor. Staff was helpful and friendly.Avis véridique Hotels.com
