Great hotel for short trips. Nice clean room, but fairly small. Within reasonable walking distance to Darling Harbour. Polite staff, easy check in and out.

Stayed on the 14th floor hoping it would be quiet. We did not hear our neighbors other than the elevator ding but did hear a fair amount of traffic noise throughout the evening. There was a funky smell to the room that either we got used to or dissipated during our stay. The room furnishings are way past prime - stained upholstered furniture was not […] inviting but the room was clean overall. The elevators are small and I felt claustrophobic when 4 other people were trying to get on with my husband and me. On the positive side, the room was VERY large and the bath products were wonderful (shampoo, conditioner, soap, and shower gel). The shower had great pressure and no issues with hot water. The staff was helpful with directions. The tv was in a weird location but did have good reception. The AC worked nicely. All in all...it was just ok. I would probably recommend that someone spend a few more bucks and stay somewhere a bit nicer and maybe a bit closer to the attractions. Lisez la suite

Room is a small, cozy and clean. Great for an overnight stay but not for a long duration.

There were a lot of noise from buildingwork just outside our window.

The hotel was not too far from the buses and trains. We were able to walk to the habor but could be a bit far for some. Hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel does need work doing to it. Our bedroom window was in bad condition and when the wind blew I was worried as to whether it was going to stay in place! All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Staff were excellent and very helpful! The room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable.

We had a great time in this hotel with a perfect staff. The only thing was the building in construction closest to our room. As soon as we reported to the staff they change the room and it was great! Our kid (3 years) enjoyed the pool. I've already recommend this hotel to friends

I do recommended this hotel as it's located in the heart of the city, 15 minutes walk to China town, and close to metro station to get to all famous sightseeing such as The Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, etc. But I'm not quite happy about the cleanness of the hotel as cockroaches all easily found in my room and once I killed one, another […] will be coming on the another night. Short distance to everything. Our room had no windows, and there was a lot of noise from pool area.

What ever anyone does do not book the Atrium rooms as they are small and prison cell like as no windows so natural light or fresh air. Felt like I was waiting on death row.

Tourist trap! You'll wish you had stayed somewhere else. lf you have other options...I suggest considering them before staying here.

The room was spotless as was the bathroom. The mattress was too too soft and there was a choice of a doona (too hot) or just a sheet. The remote for the tv did not work. The centrally located indoor heated pool was a nice touch but as there were a number of young people staying it tended to be rather noisy.

Don't expect more than a room - everything else you will need to pay yourself. It is a decent room but if you are close to the pool area it is quite noisy so I used my ear plugs when sleeping.

Hotel was okay but found it to be a little far away from from Rail and transportation. Room was okay, but sadly the windows were frosted offering no view. S.Pool was okay

The service of the hotel was the adequate with clean and tidy facilities. Front-desk staff were very helpful however this was not consistent with all the staff of the Cambridge Quality Inn.

The staff were fantastic! Accommodating everything we needed! Great Deal!

Very nice, helpful staff. good location could walk to Hyde Park, QVB, museum and other locations. They also provide shuttle to airport which was convenient

good hotel - convenient location good service. Room was advertised as "Premium Queen Room" but really it was an ordinary queen room. Room could do with a table and the mattress sagged a bit. Also since its non- smoking hotel they should put an ashtray outside on the balcony - its good for the environment!

You cant beat this price when looking at hotels in Sydney. For our last night in Australia we need a cheap hotel in a decent location. This hotel is a good walk from most attractions. If you are in Sydney to sitesee, I do not suggest this location. Hotel was clean and reception was great.

For first-time visitors, we were pleased to find that Cambridge Hotel is in a very good location (quiet and private, you could say, without being too out of the way) and walkable from the good food places of Surrey Hills. They were very accommodating to us, providing extra toiletries & utilities to the 3rd family member in our room, and giving directions […] to places of interest & how to get there. Also, an airport bus arrives every hour on the hour to carry guests to SYD, so you can buy tickets at the reception desk as well. We didn't have breakfast though, and 212 cafe isn't always open when we would have wanted to, but there are other options around, so it wasn't too big a deal. The pool, while indoor & heated, was far too small to do laps in, however, so don't suppose you can pick up your swimming habit if you mean to while here. Lisez la suite

Good location - 5 min walk to Elizabeth str. and Central Station and 200 meters to busy Oxford street with the M10 bus from UNSW that fitted me well. Buffet breakfast to my taste. Staff professional, but somewhat non-personal and short towards customers. I could hardly see the keyboard of my laptop. And Wifi was an external service at 40 AUD for 7 days, 1.2 Gb. Basically the hotel is pretty awesome with that prices, it surprised me when i got there.

Enjoyed a brief two night stay. Facilities pretty good and reasonably handy to city. Great pub on corner and a fantastic convenience store less than 100 metres away. Would go back again.

The hotel is a short walk from the railway station and didn't pose a problem as we had only a small suitcase each.The hotel can provide a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport on request. Evelyn and staff were extremely courteous and helpful with sightseeing expertise and bookings. Was able to extend reservation several times for additional nights. Stored baggage twice for most of day. Pool is quite small and room was noisy at times from hallway, other rooms, and outside. Good location and value, would definitely recommend.

Room was very dark with no outside window. Don't use the phone as they over charge. Otherwise good location.

The hotel stay was great. Staff were polite and excellent. The room was clean and tidy...a little small but apart from that, great. It took a while to get used to the plastic keys....the one thing lacking was that staff did not explain how to use them and that they needed to be used in the lift as well as the room key. We stayed at Quality Hotel Cambridge as its so close to the St. Vincent Hospital, the staff are excellent and friendly only to happy to help us, rooms are comfortable and spotless, I definately love looking at the pool the way it was design at the Hotel was fantastic and the sklyight ,futher more breakfast and dinner great plus the dining service was […] also excellent.We are going back their again soon. I stay here for a total of 4 nights in a Premier Twin booked through hotels.com and compared to Courtyard North Ryde, this is a lower rank hotel and I was prepared to give it a try. I was plesantly surprised by the room as it is nice, big and spacious and have a sofa. Much bigger than standard room at Courthyard North Ryde. It was situated on a low […] floor where I cannot see anything out of the window. This seems to be the common comment from people who booked through third-party websites. Things to note: In the middle of the night, we can hear water noise from flushing if you are a light sleeper. Else, noise level is ok. However, on the day of check-out, we got housekeeping knocking on our door at 8am even though we hang the DO NOT DISTURB sign when check-out time is 1030am. We are quite irriated by it as we were still sound asleep from a late night out. The twin beds were small and am ok just for me and my wife. I wonder how it would fit a bigger size person who is taller than 180cm and weighs more than 80kg without falling off the bed while sound asleep. They have a nice secure parking area at $22 for 24hrs. However only 1 entry and exit is permitted. The parking area is extremely tight and only 1 vehicle can drive through at one time as both entry and exit uses the same route. Small cars like Toyota Corolla is fine but a executive car like Toyota Camry will have a hard time manuvering due to tight corners and space. A short walk of less than 5 minutes from Oxford Street and there are many restuarants and fast food that you can choose from. Overall the stay was pleasant as the staff were courteous and pleasant for a reasonable price stay. It is close to many places of attraction within a city and most places can be reach for about $10 by Taxi. Lisez la suite

Short walk from the city and v near supermarkets and eateries, the hotel has a great location. Rooms were v clean and comfortable. The toilets were big n the beds were comfortable! Much thanks to one of the staff, a chinese guy, who was very warm and also helped us out when we had problems with our safe! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
