I booked this hotel for its location and the positive feedback it had already received. As a single traveller I know how poor quality and small single rooms can be. The room was clean, recently painted and had all basic requirements including Bath/shower. Staff were helpful and stored my luggage as I arrived early and departed late. I would recommend this hotel, the only negatives were that the bed was very firm and there was quite a lot of noise around 6am - don't know if this was guests or staff as my room was situated near a staff area.

Commentaire d'un client de Hotels.com le mai 26, 2009
I recently took a two week trip to Europe and stayed in 8 different hotels across a number of regions. This hotel was a complete and utter disappointment. The location is great because it is right off the Earls Court tube stop, but that is the only saving grace of this hotel. When you walk in you will be impressed by the newly refurbished lobby and attached bar/ restaurant. This impression will soon turn to disgust once you exit the elevator to try and find your room. The rooms were grungy and small- the kind of room that you would expect to find in the wrong side of town that you might pay for hourly. Do yourself a favor and stay at the city continental London Kensington (I stayed here the first night of my trip). It is a block and a half away, it is cheaper and it includes breakfast. Most importantly you will not have to worry about waking up next to any unexpected guests. Don’t stay at this hotel!

I would definately go back.

Leave Heathrow directly on the Piccadilly line directly to Earl's Court - walk 150 metres from station to Hotel. Back to station for trip directly to Knightsbridge (Harrods) or directly to Leicester Square... Hard to beat this hotel for connectivity and centrality. Excellent pubs nearby and also the Masala Zone Indian restaurant around the corner; brilliant healthfood breakfast cafe near the Indian also... Lovely rooms and tea/coffee making facilities provided. Great safe area as well.

This is an average hotel, but probably appropriate for the slightly cheaper cost per night than other central london hotels. The rooms are very small but clean. Location is very good, with only a 2 minute walk to earls court tube station. The hotel is extremely basic. Reception staff are not particularly helpful, charging £1 per hour to hold a bag on the day of departure and when asked to borrow a bottle opener, we were told "we dont provide that service". We ended up going next door to the restaurant. Basically if you want a cheap, clean bed in london then this hotel will be fine.

The double room is tiny. Bed is next to wall so you can only access one side. Furniture is old. Do not trust they say you have big nice TV, it's tiny too. Bathroom is tiny (2 m2), sink is the size of a plane toilet sink. No one single shelf in bathroom to leave your stuff. The only nice thing in the hotel is the lobby. Location is very good though.

Commenté par Ismael de Los Angeles le févr. 9, 2009
This hotel was great for the price I paid. The staff was very accomadating. The room was fairly small and we had a larger room, but we expected this since most hotels in London are like this. Most people take large luggage which will take up most of the room, so don't overpack. The tube station was a block away which was great and there is a lot of pubs and restaurants within a 2 block walking distance. I would definitely stay here again for my next trip.

Like many of the hotels in this area of Kensington the hotel is a modified terrace, which means that the rooms are quite small, but at the same time fairly comfortable. Great food, good customer service - the only problem is the maids tend to knock on your door even if you've got the Do Not Disturb sign up! Not bad value for money - We've stayed in better for the price, but at the same time we've DEFINATLY stayed in worse. (York House, only a few roads away, be careful)

Commenté par Mark de San Francisco le déc. 11, 2008
The Enterprise Hotel was a great place to stay as we were looking for a good place to sleep at night in a convenient location. That said, it follows the expectations of having a small European-sized room (as opposed to what we are used to in the United States). The bathroom and rest of the accomodations were clean. And this is one of the few hotels I looked at that has (for a nominal fee) WiFi in the room. The location is a short block from the Earl's Court station on the London Underground and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The only complaints I really have is some of the desk staff were not overly friendly to the point I felt I was bothering them rather than being a welcome guest in the hotel.

The rooms were microscopic, and the finishes were really old. The carpet should have been replaced 5 years ago, and the bathroom floor tile grout was black with mildew. The location was pretty convenient, close to the subway and some small shops, and the heat and hot water worked, but that is all this place has going for it. The ticket Kiosk was useless. My husband and I are small people (I'm only 5' tall) and we barely fit in the bed, which kept sliding off the frame. If you do stay here, bring flip-flops, it's reasonably clean as long as you don't have to touch the floor.

Pros: - quality room AC (not every hotel in London has AC) - right next to Earl's Court underground - lots of restaurants nearby - walking distance to Hyde Park, and Imperial College (which includes Natural History Museum, V&A, etc.) Cons: - breakfeast NOT included, despite what it says online - internet runs 2 pounds/hour and didn't work for me at all... sometimes you can find an unsecured wi-fi but don't count on it - had to squeeze sideways to get into the bathroom and shower, and I'm skinny - uncomfortable beds and bedding

If you are looking for a 2 star quality hotel this might be fine, the bed in the double room was small for 2 people and very uncomfortable. Compared to other 3 star hotels I have stayed in while in Europe this was the worst. The room is tiny and needs updating. No AC and even with windows open the air would not circulate. Perhaps it's the exchange rate, or perhaps London really is the most expensive city in the world, but the Enterprise Hotel rooms are really quite cramped and shabby for the price paid. The first room we had was on the ground floor, with a window overlooking an alley. Early (around 7 am) each morning the sound of construction could be heard; each morning we mentioned this situation to the staff, who informed us that there could be no such situation going on. We had to bring staff into our room to have them share our experience before they would acknowledge the situation. It was at that point that we requested (and cheerily received) a new room. This new room was quite satisfactory (large, relatively quiet, and clean).

The lobby is wonderful ... and air-conditioned. We were there during an unusual May heat wave; our room was 84 degrees at night, with the French doors wide open. Fortunately, the lobby was cool so we watched the Sunday soccer game on their flat screen TV. The room was extremely small (8'by 12', including the bathroom) but we had read the reviews and were prepared (sort of!). Since our room overlooked the street (hence the French doors which opened onto a 4' by 8' balcony), we caught all the noise, which was considerable since there is a pub at the end of the block (which had good burgers!). Overall, very good value for this hotel -- just be prepared for the noise and the tiny rooms ... which balance the great location and the incredibly low price.

The surrounding area of this hotel is great, tons of restaurants and 2 minute walk from the subway on a side street with minimal noise. However, the hotel room itself was extremely cramped. I had to put my suitcase on top of the closet because there was only room to put one on a tiny baggage rack. Also, the cleaning service was terrible. They would only change our sheets if we took them off and left them on the floor...they barely cleaned the bathroom either, just a surface cleaning job. Be aware that there is a charge for everything (internet costs 2 pounds for a half an hour...and it was dial-up speed (!) even though they claimed it was broadband service...in-room movie prices are outrageous, and it cost $10 to use the safe). Overall, we had a good time during our stay thanks to our location relative to Central London. The hotel had nothing to do with it.

It's only a few minutes walk to local dining (including several inexpensive pubs, coffee shops, Indian restaurants, fast food places, and even a small grocery store to pick up inexpensive breakfast options and incidentals). It's also very convenient to Kings Cross tube station which is only a few stops away from central London. The rooms are small, but that's to be expected when traveling on a budget in Europe. Read some reviews on this hotel, and mainly it said it was clean but the rooms where small. So I was kind of expecting it to be small. Got into the lobby which looked pretty posh, got my room really quick even though it only was 11:30 mid-day. Elevator to my room. Got into my room, and yes indeed was it really small, but it was clean. Which is really all I care about. The bed was really comfy, even though I didn't sleep very well the three nights I stayed there (which might have something to do with sleeping along for the first night in two weeks). The walls weren't very tick, so earplugs are recommended! My shower drain was blocked the first day I showered, I told the people in the reception and the next time I had a shower it was fixed. Location - Very central at Earl's court. 2-4 min walk from the sub-way. 5-10 min sub way into the heart of London. If you don't mind having a small room, and don't mind sleeping with earplugs, this is defently the hotel for you.

Room was pretty run down, but then when you're traveling on the cheap in London, you can't expect much. I'd only recommend this hotel to those who want to save a buck or two and don't care about the condition/size of room.
