Hotel à deux pas de la plage. Chambre très agréable, avec cuisine et soin repas, grande salle de bain et belle chambre. Dommage que le wifi soit payant. Cet hotel possède un excellent rapport prix/prestations/emplacement.

Une jolie chambre simple, design, avec un poisson dans son bocal, un patio, des meubles pratiques (table à repasser, nombreuses serviettes). Le matelas n'était pas super confort, et attention hôtel bruyant (ils jouent au bingo au bord de la piscine jusqu'à minuit, pour les couche-tôts c'est pas l'idéal). Mais on se gare facilement dans les environs, même si le quartier n'est pas très intéressant (en voiture c'est pas très grave). Mais à 20 euros de plus qu'un motel traditionnel c'est quand même une belle affaire, et un lieu assez unique.

La "chambre" est en fait une vraie suite qui comporte un séjour, une cuisine équipée, un bar-table, un coin bureau, une chambre à coucher et une grande salle de bain. Le lit est un king size super confortable. Il y a aussi un balcon où on peut prendre un thé tranquillement. Le seul hic de la chambre, c'est que le bruit de la climatisation est incroyablement fort! Heureusement, on arrive en avril, pas besoin d'allumer la clim tout le temps. À propos du petit déjeuner, le choix est satisfaisant (il y a même du riz et des nouilles instantanés!), mais le service "œuf fait sur place" est disponible seulement dans la semaine.

Inadmissible de servir le petit-déjeuner dans de la vaisselle jetable : cela donne un goût éxécrable aux aliments et c'est 1 gaspillage énorme totalement anti-écologique et l'endroit est totalement déhumanisé

The room itself was not bad. However, the blow dryer (provided by the hotel) stop working within seconds from turning it on, the hot water in the shower did not last very long, the a/c in the room wouldn't run continuously on the cold a/c mode. It seemed it had an internal thermostat that could not be adjusted. The a/c in the living room worked well. […] Also, you can clearly tell when the other guest are using the restroom/shower cause it sounds like it's in your room. The location is convenient. "Convenient but old and scary"
I won't stay here again. The place was literally falling apart (the baseboard fell off the wall without our even touching it). It was only marginally clean. I didn't feel safe in the parking garage. Elevator was slow and the down button didn't work, so you had to push up to go down. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable and the service was friendly. "Convenient location, clean accomodattions"
Chose to stay at La Quinta while in San Diego for a conference rather than the $$$ hotel offering a "discount rate" for attendees. Since I wasm't in the room much, I wasn't looking for plush, pampering ammenities. Did notice that the pool was small but never had the opportunity to use it or the hot tub. My family stayed here for a one nighter. Rooms are clean and a good size. Fridge and Micro are a plus if you have little ones. Its location is awesome close to the fwy and tgif.

The only negative aspect to our stay really are the beds and pillows; neither of which had enough support. The hotel is conveniently located with a very friendly staff. The room and bathroom were suprisingly clean and no weird smells (which is typical of lower cost hotels/motels). I had stayed in the LQ in LAX area and liked it, but the rest of my stays at these properties have been mediocre. The rooms, apart from the bedding, are dated. The bathrooms are absolutely nothing special. The heating/cooling units are quite loud. Walls are thin - too thin. You can hear all the goings-on of your neighbors. "Nice for the Price"
This hotel was about 3 miles from the zoo and 6 miles from Seaworld. So I consider it to be a good location. The hotel was clean, the people who work there are very nice, and the free breakfast was excellent. "Best Value in Mission Valley"
My Family and I were very comfortable at this hotel. Close to the freeway, but we didn't here freeway noise from inside the room or neighbor chatter. Breakfast area was good size and had plenty of waffle irons so you didn't have to wait long for a waffle. Room was comfortable and clean with a Refrigerator and Microwave. Stayed for three nights during Spring Break... Room very clean and beds were firm and comfortable. Front desk very friendly and helpful. My room was on the 3rd floor so noise was minimal. My only complaint was parking, or lack of. You cannot park on the street, so if the motel is booked or there are more than one car in the lot/garage per room, you […] may not find a space. They have a very nice breakfast selection, unless it is busy. The staff person couldn't keep up with all the items that were out due to the number of people. But again, it was Spring Break. "Okay for quick over night stay"
If you are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel you need to keep looking. This place was fine for the money you pay. It was clean and the service was fine. Nothing to write home about. The best part of this hotel is the location. 5 mins from shopping and 10 mins from the Zoo. If you plan on enjoying the hotel life then keep looking.

The hotel shares the mountainside with 5 star hotels and restaurants. This LQ holds its own very well with affordable rates. Well appointed, very clean, and the staff was on top of every request. Good value in an interesting and and convenient area.

This hotel is centrally located in Mission Valley. It offers a decent and clean room for a good price. The breakfast is included. The walls are thin, you can hear people's conversations as they are walking past your room, but not necessarily conversations by your neighbors inside adjacent rooms. This hotel allows pets and wish they had designated rooms for guests with pets. Our room had a ton of dog/cat hair and it was gross. We had to vacuum our room again (ourselves) becuase they didn't ever vacuum. I have little kids and my daughter is crawling and was covered with hair. For people who dont own pets, it's pretty gross. I have stayed at Comfort Inn for the past several years which has been okay. This year, I happened to change it to La Quinta Inn just for a try. To my surprise, this place was SUPER CLEAN and NEW. Breakfast is the same as what they serve at Comfort Inn, but La Quinta offers Waffle Maker which Comfort Inn recently stopped doing (at least for the Hotel […] Circle one). The Gym looked very clean and unused. Bed seemed nice and new and does not make that squeaky spring noise I heard at Comfort Inn. From now on, I will definitely stay at la Quinta for my SD trip !!!
