Cet hôtel est bien situé, il a l'avantage d'avoir un parking. Les chambres sont juste un peu plus petites que ce à quoi nous sommes habituées aux Etats-Unis.

Cet hôtel est vraiment bien placé, calme ( chambre sur Marina ) le service est de qualité et la petit-déj toujours aussi sympa ! Très bon choix d'étape pour calme et propreté.

"Downtown Ventura - Easy ."
Besides the mold in the bathroom and a lack of parking spaces ? Not bad for the price. They have a frequent stayer card now too. Bed comfortable, the room somewhat quiet. Will stay again.

"Convenient location"
The staff was very helpful and nice. The bed linens were full of hair, maybe should be washed more often. The carpet on the floor was filthy. We walked barefoot and our feet were black. That concerned me because we had my 10 month old granddaughter with us and she was walking and playing on the floor and when we realized how dirty it was we couldn't […] allow her to play on the floor. The pool was maintained very nicely and very clean. The beds were very comfortable once we picked the hair off our sheets and blankets. Also the parking was very limited. "Very unhappy with my stay"
People constantly walking past my room all night and well into the morning talking loudly about "getting some money" and other things. At 6am my next door neighbor had someone banging on their door. It was ridiculous! I guess i got what i paid for and will never come back.

"Comfort and convience at a fair price"
Doing research before booking was the key to finding this hotel. It was close to the beach and had a resturant attached. It would be great for families, you can walk to the beach & pier. Nice place!
Good hotel for a reasonable price, clean, convenient location, close to Rt. 101.
"Location is the only plus."
First room assignment smelled of cigarette smoke and stale beer. Second room assignment was under the stairs and noisy. Maid was still "cleaning" when we arrived to the second assignment so had to wait to get into the room. She did not leave enough towels and we were told they were drying and she would bring them later - which she did not so we had […] to hunt them down the next morning. Carpets were dirty, as was the bedspread that we threw in a corner and used our own blankets. Location is all this place had going for it. Walking distance to downtown, beach and pier. Noisy, run down neighborhood, exterior dirty. Only plus it was cheap and close to the harbor for our memorial service. Only spent one night.

People had dogs and they barked in the middle of the night. People were up walking around talking very loudly in the middle of the night. A lady with high heels walked by our room a few times in the middle of the night.

"No, there's no "breakfast" at Vagabond"
1) If you are wanting a place to rest or sleep in, not this place. Trains go by with very loud whistles a few feet from this property. When I was there on a Sunday, this started at 6am. 2) Non-smoking rooms do not smell non-smoking. 3) Breakfast: I remember reading in 2 different places on hotels.com before booking this that the hotel provides a free […] breakfast. It does not. What it provides is apples and some tiny, pre-packaged danishes. A big reason that this is misleading is that the hotel actually has a restaurant on the property. So when a hotel with a restaurant on the property says it provides a free breakfast, you will think it's a real breakfast. In my view, "continental" does not count as breakfast but especially their flimsy version of continental. Only positive there: the nice hot shower with good water pressure, and it's the least expensive place in downtown Ventura. Lisez la suite

Two problems that we had with the Vagabond. We arrived tired, and late at night and got into bed. We noticed that the center of the bed was damp. We got got , pulled back the sheet, mattress pad etc, and indeed, the mattress was damp, but not stained. Being too tired to change rooms, we put down towel in the bed and went to sleep. In the morning when […] I complained, the management, said it was either that the sheets had been put on the bed weak because their dryer was broken, or that the bedspread had been sprayed too much with Fabreze. "Breakfast a disapointment"
This was the first hotel I''ve stayed at in a long time that did not serve an expanded continental breakfast. Sweet rolls and apples did not do it for me.

Great place to stay for the night. Close to downtown main street. Good bars and resturants. I enjoy the sportman on California St. Good drinks and food.

The "non smoking" room not only smelled like smoke there were cigaret burns on every corner of the old furniture. The room needed an overall update. Carpet was dirty bathroom was old. "A bit smelly"
Smell's like wet moldy carpet n old smoke in room, YUCK! Our mattress was leaning to one side so I kept feeling like I was falling off the bed......They did have Coffee n Pastry in the morning.

Great rate and clean room. The beach is right behind the property and the Spencer McKenzie Fish Company next store have the Greatest Fish Taco on the Planet.

While not fancy by any stretch, it's comfortable, cozy, and in a good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. It was raining that weekend, so we didn't get to hang out in the area as much as would have liked. Most likely to stay here again.
"OK, but a little loud"
I like the place, the staff was nice, and there's a pretty good little diner there. Rooms are about Motel6 quality, which is about what I expected. It was loud, though. The train passes very close by. The floors seem thin, so I could hear every footstep of the people above. And the place seems to attract a somewhat noisy clientele - there was the constant […] din of trucks, SUVs, etc., of the type rigged to be far noisier than they need to be. "Clean, except..."
This place was fine for the cost but someone had been in my room before I checked in and then I guess checked out. The soap was unwrapped and used at the sink. One towel had been used to dry hands. All else seemed fine but clearly someone had been in there and then left.
"The Vagabond in Ventura - Good for the price"
You pay what you get for in this hotel. My main complaint with this hotel is that they need to upgrade their windows. The windows are old and the sound and cold outside comes right in. Don't stay here if you plan on sleeping in, since you'll be interrupted with the activity outside in the morning. The major complaint I had was the smell of the room. It was overwhelming. Other than that it was okay.

"Vagabond Inn - not worth the money"
Spend a little more and find another place to sleep. "Breakfast" was 3 types of cakes and coffee, the rooms were on the small side, and did not look clean. Sheets felt dirty. During the night did many huge trains run by right next to the Motel, making not only train-noise, but also honking pretty bad :-(
"Mostly worth the money you pay"
Wonderful location to downtown Ventura. Our room was clean, and fairly comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very inadequate, and it kind of sucked that the restaurant attached to the hotel didn't offer a discount to hotel patrons. Only stay here if you can get a good rate.

can't beat location. Only about a five minute walk over a foot bridge to the pier. Also, you're a five-ten minute walk to the downtown area restaurants and shops. More of a working class hotel, but enjoyed one weekday night here.. Having grown up in that area, it was a super convienent place to stay.

"Noisy, but clean"
The hotel was only Okay, It was more of a Motel and the were good. You could hear EVERYTHING going on in the room next door as well as there were people screaming and laughing in the pool till 1 am! This is probably a good place to stay if you are a VERY heavy Sleeper, or in the mood to Party. The "breakfast" consisted of 3 wrapped Muffins, a scone, […] a bowl of fruit and tea/coffee, not quite the best breakfast. To me this wasn't worth the money paid. Also when we went into the Office the staff were arguing and didn't bother to stop to help us until we had been standing there a little while. Lisez la suite
"Clean hotel for it's age"
This hotel was nearby everything we needed. It is older and the beds were rock hard, but everything was clean and well maintained. There were some odd sounds like water dripping from a pipe and some rowdy guests at night thanks to a bordering street fair, but all in all we had a good stay.

"Vagabond Inn - Simple But Near Beach"
Upsides: A quick stroll through the back parking lot and across a train track puts you on a bridge directly to Ventura Pier - the longest wooden pier in California. Very conveniently located. The room was decently clean - very basic. The motel has a diner attached with good diner food and very friendly staff. Downsides: Both of the folks I dealt with […] in the front office were downright surly (though efficient). The free "breakfast" was subpar - coffee, apples and packaged, processed pastries. If you're on the ground floor, be ready for a noisy night. The sidewalk and parking slots are next to your bed! We had to walk outside at 2am one night and ask other guests to please keep it down. We arrived before 3pm (which is the check in time) However Juanta the young lady at the front desk got us a room before 3pm and it was very clean staff was very nice it was a great stay. Room has microwave, coffee pot and mini fridge. I will stay there again. plus we have a small dog and thaqt is no problem, Just to let you know the room did not smell […] of smoke or pet urine IT WAS GREAT. thank you Vagabond Inn. "Adequate, not great"
I booked here because it was most reasonable on short notice. Adequate hotel but nothing great. Limited parking near room, noisy fan, "breakfast" was disappointing and consisted of only wrapped muffins/croissant, coffee, banana. (No juice or water.) Bed was comfortable and a pleasant surprise.

This is an economical, clean place to stay in a very convenient location to Ventura, Montecito, Ojai, Carpenteria and Santa Barbara. It is right by the bike paths if you enjoy biking to Ojai or along the coast. You can walk to restaurants and shops in Ventura, which is really happening. "Bring your own pillows"
The hotel was ok but bring your own pillows, they were horrible. The showers were warm, not hot. The location was very convenient.
