"Nice!!"
Celebrating my birthday and I chose GuestHouse and it was great. Didn't have to go too far to get to where I needed to go. The room was clean. It was nice.
Will we not be staying here again! The hotel was not very clean and we found two big spiders; if we had to kill another one we were going to the front desk. The convenience of the hotel was fine however, the location was right on the busy highway and we did not realize that when we booked it. It was very loud with the vehicles passing by all night. "Disappointed..."
Our stay at the GuestHouse Inn in Jackson was very disappointing. The hotel clerk was impatient and rude. She assigned us to a room that had obviously been flooded-- a giant ventilation fan was in place. When we returned to the front desk for our new room assignment (at midnight) she seemed put out by our request. The new room reeked of smoke although […] we had requested a non-smoking room. The mattress was uncomfortable and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. At breakfast, they ran out of coffee and took more than 10 minutes to start a new pot. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values good service, comfort, and cleanliness. Lisez la suite

"Wonderful Stay!!!!"
Best place I have stayed in a long time, even better than some places that cost twice as much. Very suprised at the cleanliness and upkeep for such a fair priced motel. There was 1 minor glitch with my room, the security light on the side of the building near my room was making a horrible racket,electric buzz, so I went down to the front desk and asked […] if I could change rooms, they did so immediately and with a smile. The ONLY thing that could have made the room any better would be to add a micro/fridge. Wonderful place to stay, conveniently located, clean, modern, well maintained, would highly recommend to anyone!! Lisez la suite

Easy access from I-40. Ample parking. Friendly and helpful employees. Plenty of choices of resturants within 2 mile radius. Could use some attention on groundskeeping to remove cigarette butts on walkways
"A Reasonable Place for a Reasonable Price"
This is a very convenient location near the interstate and the north section of Jackson. Our room was ready but it was evident that someone had been smoking in it. Otherwise it was clean and in good repair. Plenty of hot water and a good heater/ac unit. The room was plenty large for two adults. Breakfast is provided but was always biscuits and sausage […] gravy. Cereals were provided too. Not so great but acceptable. It's not a 5 star but then neither is the price. "dirty walls; grimy carpet"
The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was adequate, the price was fine. I was traveling with pets which is probably the reason I was given a dirty room. My socks were black after walking on the carpet only 3 times, it was very gross, and I don't understand how the walls could be so dirty. All in all, it was what I expected. My only complaint is that the room overlooked an all night drive thru restaurant, so it was fairly noisy until 1am.
"Nice for a Night"
I stayed at this location while passing through town, and was more impressed about the quality and cleanliness that I expected. Because of the price and type, I expected to be very disappointed, but in fact I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was quiet, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. The lobby wasn't inviting on arrival (loud television […] and furniture haphazardly placed), and the morning breakfast was just fine. As soon as I stepped in the room I found an abandoned room key on the floor, but the rest of the room seemed to be in order, except that there were no towels. I had to walk back to the front desk to obtain more, taking the abandoned room key with me. I gave her the key and then told her I needed some towels. She took the key, coded it for another room, and told me to go to that room and take the towels. She then instructed me to leave the room key on the floor. Interesting strategy. "Disappointed"
Very disappointed in the condition of this hotel.
Good Hotel, TV in our room was missing remote, but they were quick to move us to another room. I would stay again.

It was fine for the price I paid and considering the price, the room was little larger than what I expected. Staff was friend and nice. I did not like that the door was not weatherized properly making it easy for cold air and bugs to get in the room. The sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean. The room was a non-smoking room, but the comforter had burn marks. The room had a stale odor to it. The recliner looked like it had been retrieved from a garbage dump or garage sale.

The office service was friendly and fast. The room was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast offered more choices than I expected. This is a budget hotel--no mistake--but one worth staying in again.

This was my 1st stay at a "motel" but I was traveling with my college age son that uses Motels frequently. He said this was the worst motel he had ever been in and certainly not normal. the days inn the following night was much better.

The Guesthouse is the biggest bang for the buck that I have seen in a long time. The staff is extra friendly and the location to shopping and other restaurants is minutes away. I stay there every time I'm in Jackson. kk

"Best Deal and Comfort"
I have used this hotel twice in past, and have been very satisfied. Price was good, location was great good restaurants nearby, housekeeping was very thoughtfull leaving some tooth paste packets just in case,& room was clean. Breakfast was ok buiscuits were kind of hard and gravy was a little pasty even at 7 am. I will use them again

The room was pretty comfortable but needed updating. There was a leak which made the floor going to the bathroom very wet. Hopefully they have fixed it or will fix it. The people at the front desk were very nice.

the room and overall accomodations were average and worth the rate we paid. however; the problem was at check in. we had reserved a smoking double. this is what my confirmation email said. when we got there, we were given a king. since there were 3 adults, this was not good. the clerk said she could not do anything since we got the room through expidia […] (?). anyway; after nearly an hour of begging ,then some demanding, they gave us a second room for the third person. we were a late check in because we were there to take my sister-in-law for a cancer check up .that made for a trying day as it was. we did not need the aggrevation Lisez la suite

"Poorly Ran"
The hotel was in a great spot for a great price. Besides the location, we booked GuestHouse Inn because they offered a fitness center and continental breakfast. The breakfast would have been great, if there was any food out. We were there one hour before the breakfast was over and the only other table in sight had completely devoured the cereal, milk, […] biscuits and gravy, peanut butter, and the coffee (as evidence by the plates and residual food on their table, along with the plastic bowl at their table which was to hold and offer the peanut butter). The food was never restocked, until the table previously mentioned was finished eating; this is because that table then went into the back and stocked the food themselves. They were workers at the hotel... The fitness center was great, except that it was located a couple miles down the road. We used our Garmin to locate the SNAP fitness center with no problem. The beds seemed fresh and the place smelt clean. The only deficit to the roam was that the weather stripping was missing at the bottom of the door, which left a half inch gap that we only noticed the following morning (we only stayed there one night). This place is cheap, conveniently located next to the interstate, and has an ok breakfast. The rooms are old and the showers are somewhat dingy but the place seemed clean. I was pulling a Uhaul trailer and was able to park in a well-lit area in front of my room.

Only one electrical outlet accessible by vanity. It would not work in spite of repeated attempts to reset. Dinky coffee maker for one styrofoam cup at a time, which worked first morning, but outlet would not work next morning.

The room was very comfortable and the bed was just right for a great night's sleep. We enjoyed the breakfast. It's not luxury, but this hotel is clean and comfortable.

During our stay at this hotel the housekeeper opened our door without knocking and we were inside after another housekeeper had already been there. It seems to me you should always knock good thing we were dressed. Other than this huge situation it was clean and quiet
"Think twice before staying"
This hotel has seen better days. The room I stayed in was very old and out dated. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. If you're looking for a place to stay just on price this is the place.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone with children. The room was not clean. There were mystery smears all over the room and bathroom walls, excrement on the toilet seat, hair in the bathtub and the carpet in the room looked dirty. "Good for a nights rest"
This hotel is good for a nites rest and nothing else. It was clean but we had a king room non-smoking and we where on the far back corner in the back.....NO ..NO extras.....only two towels,,1 wash cloth....1 bar of soap...No extras ammenities.. "Stop over hotel"
This hotel needs attention. It is, at best, a stop over hotel for 1 night. The room desperately needed maintenance, especially the bathroom. Not dirty but some rust, low water pressure, dated amenities. The internet was better from a different hotel in the vicinity than it was from the motel. Lots and lots and lots of highway noise.
