I really did not have many complaints about the hotel other than it was very close to the highway and therefore it was noisy at night. Also, we booked the hotel because it had a indoor pool. We were really hoping to get to use it, but it closed at 10pm and there were too many children that was running and playing when we were wanting to just relax in […] it or the hot tub. "Cold Indoor Pool"
We decided to use this hotel because of the indoor pool. However, the pool was colder than the outside temperature. I believe that a indoor pool should be heated and taken care of. The floors in the pool area have some of the most slick tiles in there. The last day when packing I also say a baby roach in the hotel room. I thought the staff was really nice and accommodating. The bathroom was fairly new, nice and clean. But one of the comforters had a cigarette burn hole in it and there was a red stain on the curtain that I couldn't make out. Other than that, I was fairly satisfied. We made our resevation by telephone. We were told only smoking rooms were avaiable. They said that when we checked in to ask for a non smoking room. "Easy Access to Highway"

"Avoid this place"
The room was fine, but the hotel is right next to some late night club, and all I heard during the night was tejano music and car alarms. The car alarms did not stop from midnight till my body gave out and finally went to sleep (1:30am). Oh, and the pool was under construction starting at 8:00am. I wasn't overaly thrilled or too disappointed with this hotel. It seemed clean but maybe needed some updating. The first night there the elevator doors got stuck and we had to pull them open to get another guest out. The beds were old and a bit uncomfortable but I had such an exhausting day in Austin it didn't take me long to fall asleep. And the last […] morning there I wanted to sleep in but they only let me have an extra hour for check out. We only spent the weekend in Austin but the hotel was very nice and clean. Checking in and out was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to get some good sleep during the night.
