We booked this hotel on line one hour before checking in. We were welcomed with champaign and strawberries! The front desk recommended a resturant and called ahead for us and made reservations. The quality of the room was beautiful with a hard wood floor enterance and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Beyond our expectations and very afforable.

This hotel is currently undergoing renovation and the new rooms are very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the champagne and cookies on our arrival and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and fun. We'll all be back. Great location.

Hotel was nice and very convienent to shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly however there was some confusion as the the package we purchased and they didn't want to give us what we had bought. Once we contacted my daughter who was able to find my confirmation number everything was fine. But it was frustrating for a few minutes […] not being able to get what we bought. Lisez la suite

Hotel bedding was wonderful and so were the rooms. Walking distance to restaurants and shops was great

This hotel is very convenient to shops and good restarants. the room very very clean and nice for the price. i would recommend.

It was a great room but was not all that the Hotels.com said it would be. The room was smaller with only one easy chair rather than two chairs or a love seat. One person got the easy chair while the other got the desk chair. Other than that we loved the hotel and the nearby amenities.

Room very nice, hotel beautiful. Pillows flat and had sore neck for three days after stay. Hideous noise in ceiling every time the AC cycled on first night. Prompt service in fixing issue after first night and quiet sleeping the following 2 nights. Bad pillows should not be the reason I remember my stay.

Clean, comfortable and well-appointed - plus there were cookies at check in!

Getting to this hotel was a bit tasking, but not too bad. I had a comfortable weekend stay, the staff were all very nice. I have no complaints. The mall was right next to the hotel, and easy walk. This was a business visit to Charlotte. I graduated with my Master's Degree at the Time Warner Cable Arena. It was the first time my family and I had been in Charlotte, NC. Loved the City!! The hotel is very nice, and is surrounded by shopping, dining, and entertainment.The hotel is very clean and modern. The decor was nice as well. We selected the Marriott Hotel in SouthPark because of it's proximity to the Charlotte airport. The hotel is in a business office park, located within a lovely residential neighborhood. The hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. Next door to the hotel was a nice mall with upscate stores for shopping and a a couple of very nice restaurants. […] The only thing that I noticed that was not up-to-par were some repairs in the bath that were substandard--e.g., the hook on the bathroom door had been removed, but the holes were still there; and several paint touch-ups were attempted using the wrong color paint. We were very happy at the Marriot and the little additons (hot pretzels one evening and champagne another) were very nice and made us feel special.

Wanted to do something special for my husband's birthday. Although we live in Charlotte we wanted to "get away". We knew we'd be shopping @ Southpark over the weekend so we decided to just stay @ the hotel. I LOVED the bathroom area and the King size bed slept wonderfully!!!! The room was clean, the pool, hot tub and gym were clean and attractive. Very near restaurants and shops. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Behind the times on internet service. No wireless internet available and have to pay for hardwired in-room internet. Breakfast buffet is satisfactory but don't use restaurant for dinner: strictly cafeteria-level fare.

Although we are natives to Charlotte, we needed to stay in a Hotel this visit for a surprise party. The location was great. My husband is on crutches and the handicapped parking spot and room were great for him. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in Charlotte.

Loved that shopping & restaurants were within walking distance. Great fitness center, very new/modern equipment. Room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel--very friendly staff! I would stay here again & recommend to anyone I know!

Relied on the Tom Tom to find it from the address. Lots of shopping/restaurants closeby but didn't really have time to explore all of that.

Love what you've done here!! Fabulous decorations, many shelves in bathroom, bright colors, contemporary styling! The whole building sparkles!! And location is so convenient to South Park attractions and amenities.

This hotel was Fabulous. If you get the chance to stay with them, DO IT! There is a lovely upscale shopping plaza with restaurants next door. I give the hotel 5 stars!!!

My husband and I had one night away from the kids and traveled a short distance from SC. The room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable. It was so easy to hang out and do nothing. Nice restaurants around the area. Would stay there again!

Very nice property; the fitness club and pool were very nice. However, I have a beef with no coffee pot in the room and the fact that there is a Starbucks vending machine in the lobby. Kind of chincy.

My wife and I recently visited Charlotte to use some of the gift cards we received at our wedding a couple of months back and return some duplicate gifts that we received. Overall, I was not very pleased with the hotel which was disappointing because we haven't been able to get away since we got married and Marriott's tend to be very nice. Customer […] Service: I saw 5 employees of the hotel while I was there, 2 of which were friendly and 3 of which ignored me, including a manager. This includes exiting the hotel with bags in hand, and no "Thanks for Staying!" or anything, just silence as we walked by. Room: Our room and the hotel in general was VERY clean. As I said in my title this is the only positive in my mind. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were absolutely terrible! I had to use 3 to get any kind of support. Breakfast: We paid the extra amount for our "Full Breakfast" in the VIP lounge and were not impressed. Don't be fulled it is NOT a full breakfast, it is just the typical continental breakfast. We were informed that if we wanted a full breakfast that we would have to go to the restaurant and pay for it. Also, we showed up about 15 minutes before they were shutting down breakfast and EVERYTHING was put away and nobody was there. We had to fish through the cabinets and mini-fridges to even get our fruit and drinks. Overall I did not enjoy my experience here and wish we would have stayed somewhere else. this was a great hotel for the price. my fiance and i decided to stay her to just get out of town for the weekend and had a great time. i looovvved the supercomfy bed and wanted to take it home with me! my only complaint was that the book about the hotel in the room stated that it had a little shop downstairs to get snacks in but this did not exist […] as i was told by the front desk...but overall the room service was excellent and i give the hotel a 5 out of 5 stars! We got a very good deal on Thanksgiving Day. This hotel is located at a premier mall in Charlotte. Excellent restaurants within the mall and nearby. My only recommendation for improvement is that the concierge service was a bit lacking in information.

we were surprised at how nice this place was for the price we paid , i would have imagined the price being double what we paid . great experience , definitely will stay there again when I am on business in Charlotte .

This hotel was a great and in a great location but the restaurant left alot to be desired! The restaurant was very dark and the booths' cushions were saggy. We had breakfast that was cold and if I had not been so hungry and on a schedule I would not have eaten it and sent it back.
