The hotel had nice personal touches - cookies at bedtime, chocolates on arrival, lovely surroundings, excellent spa, wonderful restaurant and amazing staff! Everyone was so friendly.

The hotel is in an excellent location for going out to all the pubs and bars. The hotel is very upscale.

I booked this for a 1night get away for my wife and I. And we where very pleased with our stay from check in to check out. Very well run great atmosphere and spotlessly clean. We had decided to eat at a restaurant in Vandouver but after viewing the restaurant and the great service we had at lunch we thankfully changed our minds. Our meal was superb! […] I own a bar/restaurant in Northern Ireland and am hard to please but I was more than happy with our experience. I will stay here again. Lisez la suite

This member of the Relais et Chateux group does not disappoint! It is beautifully restored, immaculate and the staff is discreet and helpful. Every member of the staff, from the concierge to the maids were friendly and courteous! Highly recommended.

great hotel and restaurant-- i would love to stay there again.

The concierges and valets couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Overall we were very happy, with only two relatively minor complaints: * We did send a follow-up email after booking to the hotel's info@ email address with a request. This was not answered, and on check-in they said it was never received. However, they did accommodate our request […] anyway. * The wireless Internet signal in our room was so weak at the desk in our room that it was unusable (had to sit or stand by the door), and neither I nor the hotel's engineer could get the wired Internet to work (could not acquire an IP address) with my computer that has no problems connecting to other wired networks. This hotel is not only elegant, it is fabulous and affordable. I would recommend the Wedgewood ovr any other luxury hotel in Vancouver for its value and quality.

This hotel blew me away - we split our trip between here and the Four Seasons in Vancouver (they are about 5-10mins walk from one another) and I wish I had stayed here the entire time. Room was large, well appointed, came with complimentary chocolates from Daniel, complimentary water and cookies with Turndown service, complimentary WiFi, Large Two […] person Tub in Bedroom, Large Balcony with super view of the park opposite. I was very satisfied with the quality of the hotel, the staff, and the personal touches such as the gift of choclates with a welcoming card, and the cookies and water. The only aspect that slightly detracted from the visit was the presence of the Occupy Vancouver protesters. I realize that this was out of the hotel's control and that they were gone […] the day after I left. Remided us of European hotels. CLASSY! We will return (if the reduced price we had is available).

We spent three nights in this hotel. I think the quality of both the premises and the attitude of the staff were exemplary. The room was great; my family of three fit in very nicely. Loved the stay.

Every aspect was awesome. The shower was a wee bit weak, but that was a minor flaw. The hotel really is a little European oasis in the middle of downtown Vancouver. The staff were super attentive without being overly annoying. I was very pleased with the room and the whole hotel.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Clean rooms, attentive staff, great location. We would not look anywhere else to stay next time we are in Vancouver.

Warm welcome for all 19 of us, convenient location, wonderful staff. We would love to come back again.

It is a very good hotel with an excellent location in Vancouver downtown area. Just at heart place and near the Pacific Center and Roberson Street. Once inside the stress melted away. Very comfortable and well apointed suite, relaxing bar with subdued lighting.

The hotel is very conveniently located. It is really not necessary to have a rental care unless a trip to Whistler is planned. The restaurent is very good and the bar is comfortable. The concierge was excellent. We arranged a number of side trips through the concierge including Vancouver Island and Butchart gardens. Valet service is excellent. As soon as we arrived we got upgraded and got and amazing soaker tub! The front desk staff were super friendly and efficent. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious! The hotel was super clean and beautiful decor. The Spa was ever so relaxing. Although this hotel is pricey, but worth it!!

Excellent buy. We got an upgrade just for the good of our comfort and had excellent service from the staff. I throw an extra set of kudos out to the bell staff that were friendly, helpful and a delight. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Would stay here again and again when returning to Vancouver.

A nice hotel, but has a much older feel and clientele than I usually prefer. Great location in the heart of down town, easy waking distance to everything. Overall a very nice stay but next time I will try for something more hip and modern.

Everything is great. The only thing I haven't given a rate of 5 is that, the shower is weak.

This is a boutique hotel that is ideally situated and provides many amenities. The staff is courteous and helpful. All rooms are a small suite which adds to the please of the stay. The food in the restaurant needs to be upgraded, in line with the overall level of the place.

Came in at 2am. Looked a little old and tired, the Hotel. When I woke up it seemed like a different hotel. Stayed for a week and had one of the best hotel stays I've had in a long time. For someone who travels 35 week a year in five stars, this place is what a five star total experience is to be. Wrapped up in a beautiful older package

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Vancouver. Our room was charming and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful. We would unconditionally recommend this hotel.

The Wedgewood Hotel in Vancouver has a lovely environment, a calm atmosphere, friendly staff and extremely clean. Its location is perfect for walking everywhere and can't think of a better spot....highly recommended!!

Stayed 4 nights at the Wedgwood during our first vist to Vancouver. Great location downtown, extra comfortable bed, accomodating and friendly staff. Good food and atmosphere in the lounge/restaurant. We stayed in first-class hotels all across Canada on our recent vacation. By far, the Wedgewood was superior in terms of hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness, service and comfort. Cannot recomment it highly enough. Thank you.

I would highly recommend this hotel, but would not recommend the restaurant (Bacchus). It was overpriced for very poorly cooked food. The service was also subpar. The location, rooms, and service of the Hotel itself was excellent, although I did not enjoy the overwhelming potpourri scenting all the hallways. Avoid if you have any chemical sensitiv […] ities. we checked in at the hotel and we were put into a much smaller room then we paid for, we then had to wit 2.5 hours after 9 hours of traveling to get into our room to have a room facing a ally (again not what we requested) we had one beverage from the bar not wanting to pay forit with our credit card we left a 2 n the mini bar, and i just looked at my […] visa statement and realized that they charged me for that beverage. the bed was noisy and the toilet didnt flush very well. we end up changing rooms the night after. My wife and I visited Vancouver for our 1st anniversary and stayed at the Wedgewood. We were more than satisfied with our stay there. Super friendly staff, awesome restaurant, and the room was great. We also got a couples massage at the spa which was very relaxing. We will definitely stay there again if we visit Vancouver again.

Our recent stay at the Wedgewood was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The holel is beautiful and intimate without being stuffy. The location is right downtown close to great shopping, events, galleries etc. We plan to make the Wedgewood our 'home away from home'.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Wedgewood when stopping over in Vancouver for a few days enroute from Australia to Europe. The hotel was able both times to meet our request for early check-in which meant that we were able to shower, change and make the most of the rest of the day in Vancouver. The doormen and desk staff have always assisted […] us in our queries about Vancouver and the comfortable restaurant is a great place to have brunch after arrival. excellent hotel, very attentive

The room was lovely and the balcony very spacious. However the sofa bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom door squeaked terribly. Snacks were available in the room for a substatial charge . Room service outrageous for the amount of food received.
