Great room. Great service. Even though the BNSF train yard was right across from the window, the drone of the A/C unit was able to mask most of the noise from the train yard. Great place to stay if you are going to walk to Coors Field to take in a Rockies game.

The hotel was clean overall, although the bathroom was super tiny. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was adequate. Downside to staying at this location was the train track behind the hotel. We could hear the train run along the track the night we stayed. Other than that, the stay was satisfactory and met our needs.

Extremely noisy due to the train yard and two major highways. Staff was great as expected for La Quinta. Breakfast was not as good as usual, room was moldy, wouldn't ever choose this one again. There are quite a few other La Quintas around town, choose one of those.

I choose La Quinta because all my previous exeperience with this hotel have been good but not this time. The most annoying part of the stay was the location of room, it faced railyard. So it was difficult to sleep in the night with all the noise coming from railyard. To add to this, first morning the shower knob broke and it was stuck at "hot water". […] It took me about 15 min. to get it to a point where water was at somewhat correct temperature. But to the credit of hotel staff, after I told them about this, it was fixed promptly. Coffee machine in the room really sucked, better to drink hot water rather then that coffee. Internet speed in the room was very slow, ok for email. I will say that, this place is ok if you want to stay for a night, let's say if you come to watch Rockies play. We came up from the Springs before the snow and Ice got worse.

Room smelled like weed, and never went away. Then I figured out why. The hotel staff were smoking in the rooms around us after guests checked out and they were supposed to be cleaning. Plus there are multiple train tracks right next door, so there was non stop rumbling and horns.

Went to denver for a baseball game and stayed at this la quinta. U can actually see the park from the balcony of hotel. Very convenient. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty rough, but not horrible. Right by the highway. My wife and I got there way ahead if check in and the manager Michelle didn't even flinch. The outside of the hotel looks really run-down so I was afraid that the insides would be not so great. Surprisingly, the room was clean. What I did not like was that there was a very busy railroad track just a few yards away and the guests staying at the same time as us thought it would be a great idea to sit outside all night and talk. Although they […] were upstairs, and were talking at a normal tone, it seemed like they were sitting right inside our room. I work in the hotel industry and was incredibly impressed with the presentation of my room. I was a late night check in the front desk receptionist was fast and extremely kind. When I got to my room I was greeted with a light turned on a the environment at a nice warm temperature. I will definitely be staying here again.

This hotel was very dirty, had to go to another property. Not satisfied with La Quinta, is very different than the website. Hotels.com had great customer service and was able to move me to another hotel.

The hotel was clean and cozy. Beds were rather small for doubles, but nice! Free continental breakfast was awesome and included waffles, muffins, cereal, milk, juice, and oatmeal. They have smoking and nonsmoking so make sure you clarify when reserving room. Enjoy!

The surrounding neighborhood was noisey unless you love trains and the door to our room did not shut completely. It looked like someone beat the door with a hammer. We had no smoke detectors in our room and I had asked for non-smoking and got a smoking room. The front lobby was very nice, but I was unimpressed with the rest of the hotel. The service was very good. The hotel is off the freeway so it's a little noisy. There is also a train track nearby. But for the price it's a decent place to stay. It's about a mile and a half walk to downtown Denver but a nice leisure walk.

Though the surrounding area was a little shady, the motel wasn't bad. I will emphasize that it is a MOTEL not a hotel. That wasn't a problem for us, but considering the neighborhood around the place, you may want to choose a hotel instead. The "highway noise" that others have complained about on here really wasn't that bad. Especially once the air conditioner […] kicks on, you can't hear it. The room was clean and seemed to be up to date. We had a little bit of a problem getting the shower to drain, but then my husband just removed the plug altogether and it drained, hah. I had a really hard time finding a reasonably priced hotel in/close to downtown Denver. This worked out perfect for our one-night stay to see the Broncos. This hotel is directly off the highway which is convenient but in a shady part of town. Our door had screwdriver marks where someone had clearly tried to break in. rooms were updated and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Drunk fights and homeless people in the parking lots at night, Convenience store next door had shady people hanging around at night. Rental car gotten in to during the night (Thanks goodness I left the doors unlocked or they would have broken a window). Just not a "relaxing" environment.

The staff was fantastic. Being next to the train yard is a deficiency. There was a room service menu that had attractive items, but when called they said it would take one to two HOURS for delivery. Room service is a good idea as the nearby restaurants aren't all that nice.

I really only have two complaints about my stay at this motel. First is that its a MOTEL, which means all the room doors are actually outside, right off the highway, which meant quite a bit of traffic noise coming from cars and trucks off the on/off ramp and highway. My room door didn't close or seal properly which I suppose contributed to the noise. […] Second, which is not a big deal for me, but there were pigeon droppings on the stairs and landing leading to my floor. The room was clean and the bed was confortable and the hospitality was just fine. Other than my two complaints, the stay was okay. We have stayed at this hotel previously and selected it due to it's close proximity to The Fillmore Auditorium. It is a great value for the money. The room was clean..the bed very comfortable and there is good food nearby. The staff was very friendly and accommodated a 1:00pm check out time!! We will definitely stay here again!

A good, low-cost option close to downtown. Close bus stop is a plus. We were there for a convention. We stayed here for a few days before we checked into the Hyatt , the convention hotel. La Quinta provided better services (breakfast, good wi-fi connection, free parking) at a fraction of the cost.

The exterior is rather dreadful. Concrete walkways not washed and paint not clean. It could be better with better maintanance and an eye for details.

When we booked our room back in August we asked for non smoking room and when we arrived we were told the only room available with a king size bed was smoking and they were over booked and we were going to have to take that room or nothing. If we ask for non smoking then that is what we should have gotten.
