Excellent location for a one night stay. Very clean room. Polite and courteous reception staff made us feel welcome. Breakfast high quality. Will use this hotel next time we are in town.

The room smelled of 30 year old smoke. Very rowdy neighbors. Not up to what I expect from La Quinta chain. Rate very reasonable.

"Thoughtful housekeeping"
When we travel, my two boys bring along an entourage of little stuffed animals. When housekeeping made up the beds, the staff person made the bed and then carefully lined up and arranged all 15-20 animals all around the pillows in a nice display. My kids LOVED it! Thank you for taking the time for that personal touch. Room #234 March 22-24, 2012.
We just wanted a room for the night. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and a good breakfast.

This La Quinta was easy to find and check in was great since everythin was already done through Hotels.com Our room wasn't adequately supplied with toilet tissue, in fact... it had 1 use left on the roll and there was not another roll anywhere to be found in the room. This is a motel, not a hotel. It is an older property and looks it. The room was adequate. I wished there were a few more outlets for all of the stuff I have to plug in. The bed was REALLY COMFORTABLE. The price was great. My biggest concern was the surroundings. The property is on an access road to I-85 which is not a big deal. The issue is there is […] a a strip mall between the hotel and the access road. Parked vehicles are hidden from the road. Was traveling from MD to GA. Hotel was just on my route. Convenient, Staff was very friendly. Room was excellent for the price. Took a nice long hot and refreshing shower. Breakfast included!!!!!! You cant beat it.

"Smell"
Room smelled like it had been smoked in and then sprayed with air cleaner. Stayed two nights. When we got home we had to wash all clothes that were in the motel closet. They smelled just like the room.

Was a great stay. We were pleased with everything. Could use some new mattresses in the near future, they seemed to sink in the middle. Over all though we were pleased.

We stayed here one night while we were in town for a funeral. The room was very clean, nice sized, and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the flat screen with Direct TV. The breakfast was more than continental and the price was almost dirt cheap! My ONLY complaint is that we were in a no smoking room and it smelled like pretty recent cigarettes […] had been smoked in there. Overall it was better than expected for this type of motel. "Slammed by management"
I arrived at the hotel thirty minutes early from out of state. I did not realize check-in was at three pm. As I spoke to the manager, he was rude and very unaccomodating towards me. I told him I would be back at the check-in time and would be expecting a room, and he stated, "If there is one ready" How terrible was his attitude! If it were not for some […] kind woman from the housekeeping area, I would have been waiting far later than the check-in time. I praise the housekeeping staff for their kindness, but the management or front desk person was aweful. I was also given a room for smokers and requested a non-smoking room. My friends and I stayed here for a quick trip and we were looking for something comfortable, but cheap. This place was perfect. The guy at the front desk was very nice, the rooms were clean and it was in a good location. I would definitely stay there again.

"Quite Comfy for a "Cheep" Room"
Rooms were nice and clean. Location was convenient . . . right off interstate and close to many food options. Only disappointment was the lack of vending machines 1 out of only 2 available was out of order. Just be sure to stop at convenient store if you want a beverage. I checked the other reviews before I chose this hotel and agree with the positive posts in that the room was clean and breakfast had a good variety. The bed was very comfy! The only thing I would add is that for this location, all rooms are accessed from the outside as opposed to a common inside hallway.

Just a stop-over on our way to FL. Greeted warmly, slept soundly, nice breakfast, and on our way. I recommend!
The room is clean. We like the staff and the people. The room is non-smoking, but we do feel that some people have smoked in the room before. Good for the price and the quality.

This was a nice motel near lots of restaurants and the interstate. Pool was very clean and it was actually a chlorine pool-my husband cannot stand the saltwater ones. The only criticism was the room smelled very strongly of cleaning products when we first got there. It eventually went away. Very reasonable price!
"Needs better housekeeping"
I travel to greenville several times a moth for business and I used to like this hotel, but recently it's not been as clean as it should be. Your feet get black from the carpet, and there are hairs all over the bathroom.

"Clean & Simple"
We stayed here on our way to Tennessee. The hotel staff was nice and the room was clean. The king bed was comfy as well as the recliner!! The room was well worth the price we paid!

"Nice place to stay."
This was the best value I found in the area and it met all my expectations. Close to everything and very easy to get to from I-85.

If you are traveling with your 4 footed child, La Quinta is where to stay. They welcome pets without a non-refundalbe deposit (some we saw were anywhere from $20 to $100). We had a very nice room with a king sized bed which the three of us, (me, my husband, and our beagle - LeeLee) found extremely comfortable. The bed was so nice that we slept past […] breakfast time which ended at 9:00. I thought that was a bit early to put the food away, but other than that, we had a wonderful stay! Lisez la suite

Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Had a very nice free, hot and cold breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Stayed here with my kids for a soccer tournament. Good value for the money. Endless choices for dining around since there are 3 shopping malls near by. Nice staff. I will be back
"Not what I expected"
We checked in to our oom and has requested a non-smoking room (we do not smoke and our 3 year old was with us). We had a "view" of dumpters behind another building and people walking their dogs to let them do their duty in the parking lot.....

Room was very clean. Price is good. Older hotel. Needs some updating. Staff is on point. Had no micro or fridge (traveled with children). Movie theater and restaurants(plenty) close by. Will stay again.
