Hotel propre et bien tenu. Calme. Chambres très spacieuses pour une famille de 4 adultes. Petits déjeuners très complets avec de la vraie vaiselle (pas en plastique !) En semaine, buffet dinatoire inclus.

A l'angle de la 6th Street (la rue des bars animés par les musiciens), à quelques minutes à pied du fleuve Colorado. L'hôtel ne propose pas les petits déjeuners, mais notre chambre était équipée pour les préparer nous-mêmes. Un magasin situé à quelques centaines de mètres propose un choix très étendu de produits culinaires et un rayon traiteur de grande qualité. Nous avons habité une suite de très grande taille et très bien équipée. La fenêtre ouvrait sur le côté opposé à la 6th street ; nous avons davantage entendu les bruits liés au service (laverie, ascenseur).

Tout etait merveilleux. Le seul reproche est le ventilateur au plafond que je n'ai jamais pu arreté car je n'ai pas trouvé l'interrupteur.En hiver, etre ventilé n'est pas très agréable.

Hôtel agréable, personnel accueillant. J'ai apprécié mon séjour : breakfast agréable, même si la salle à manger est petite, ordinateur à disposition avec internet dans le lobby. Un peu loin du centre ville...

"Worst hotel"
I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY STAY. THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT KEPT GIVING US PROBLEMS. THE ROOM SMELLED BAD. THERE WAS DEAD INSECTS ALL OVER THE ROOM. IT WAS EVEN WORSE IN BACK OF THE BEDS. I CALLED FRONT DESK TO REPORT THE PROBLEM. NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN.

Phone kept ringing all night from broken PBX system alerting on voicemail. It would not shutdown. People hanging out in front of room until midnight drinking and cutting up. Front office clerk would not address issue because she stated she could not leave the office.

Service was fine. One room needed to be vacuumed. Beds were comfortable but as a whole the place feels tired. On Saturday night there were at least 1 or 2 parties going on with lots of yelling. Sound of the AC unit knocked out most of the noise but still woke me up a couple of times.
"EASY HIGHWAY ACCESS"
The stay was short but pleasant. I especially liked the easy access to I35 and the Dennys next door! Would definately stay again, front desk receptionist had a great attitude and personality. He is a keeper! He even provided me with great directions to my different destinations!

The hotel was fine. It was clean and the tv was nice. The beds were very comfortable. Office staff very friendly. My only complaint is the neighborhood was a little scary. Alot of homeless hanging around.

"Baymont in Austin North"
I arrived late at night to find a hotel that was in a terrible location--nearly on the highway--and run down to say the least. The outside entrance to the room was a short walk through some very rundown stairwells. I entered the room amid a great deal of clatter from the noisy and full parking lot below, only to find beat up furniture, overspray paint […] on the carpet from a shoddy attempt at upkeep, and a drab interior. To top it all off I found bugs on my pillow and a search under the covers led me to find a few more. I didn't stay and had to search for a hotel room in the area at 1 am, which proved to be preferable to staying in this terrible hotel. Lisez la suite

"Baymont - Worst I have ever seen"
This is the worst Baymont Inn I have ever seen. Looks like no maintenance has been done for many years as the paint is severely marked up. The walls in the room had many stains, the door jamb was filthy with marks and damaged. The bathroom was in poor shape. The people were nice but everything else was poor. Looks to me like they have been trying to […] sell it for years performing no upkeep. I would rank it well below a motel 6 (one down the road looked much nicer) which is at least clean. My hotel room was NASTY NASTY NASTY. The bathroom and dressing area and floor were gross. There was an old upholstered recliner in the room that was beyond disgusting -- it had been stained almost beyond recognition. The room stunk. The bed WAS comfortable and the sheets were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful at check-in, but honestly while […] it was cheap, I've stayed at cheap and CLEAN and NICE places in Austin that were waaaaaaaaaay better. Disappointing. "Will stay here again"
We had only one issue with the service, the desk person did not know the area very well, we needed directions. She refered us to maps that were not detailed enough for what we wanted. This hotel is one I will stay at again! Smelled and appeared clean and kept neat.

The hotel is right on i35 south of 183 so it was easy to find and access from any direction. It was nothing fancy but it was clean, the staff was nice and efficient, and it was over all a great place for us to crash each night.

We were in town for SXSW and since they Baymount Inn South is so good, we thought the one North would be too. We were wrong.... As for positives, great price, close to highway and downtown and the beds were comfy. However the beds were not clean and even after we requested new pillow cases and sheets, they delivered a pillow case which clearly had eye […] make up on it. There were four of us staying in the room and when we requested extra towels we were told there were none. The Baymont Inn/Austin North gets a C- grade from us, thanks to a dingy lobby but mostly due to a day without housekeeping in our room. And after returning to the room in the evening and notifying the desk, I had to call again to get clean towels.

The stay was awful. The room had a awful smell, carpet filthy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for what we had to pay I expected better than what we got. I will have to start reserving my own rooms directly. I have never had this experience before when we have stayed at a hotel.

At first the place might scare you. You might associate it with one of those by the hour. Room cleanliness, overall trumps everything.

Efficient, clean, and close to everything. Not the best on outside appearances but I felt safe. The service was great and so was the breakfast. Overall, it was a really good deal.
Room had an unpleasant smell and carpet was very dirty. Bathroom could have been cleaner too.

Although it wasn't anything fancy we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. There were some loud partiers that woke us our first night, but no problems after that. We were impressed by the variety of choices available at breakfast especially considering the very reasonable nightly rates. We would consider staying here again.

I have stayed at this location periodically since the mid-1980s during short business trips. The staff has always been attentive and the rooms clean compared to other budget hotels in Austin. It is conveniently located. Guests can be noisier on weekends outside in the parking lot, but it tends to be quiet during the work week.

The overall experience at the hotel was good. The location was right off of the freeway so we could quickly get to where we needed to go. There was a Denny's and a gas station right next to the hotel for eating and gassing up our vehicle. "Cheap, nice, conveniently located"
I have stayed at this Baymont at least 4 times in Austin. I have always been pleased with everything about the hotel. It is very conveniently located right off of the Interstate. The surrounding area is a little commercial, and sometimes you'll have people approach you for money, etc. However, you can't go anywhere in Austin these days without that […] happening. I wish the rooms had mini-fridges, but everything else is nice. For the price, I don't think you can beat this place for a nice, convenient place to stay. Lisez la suite

At check in double charged my credit card after assuring me and other guest that we would not be charged twice. Thankfully they were quick to issue refund. Neighborhood is questionable.

"convenient.nice enough room"
Very easy to find, very nice and helpful front desk people. Across parking lot from Denny's and they allow pets. It was not the most spectacular room I've ever stayed at, but I'll stay there again. Good price. A mini fridge would have been great to refrigerate my insulin.

The price was very good and the double room was a good size. Plus, it was 100 feet away from the Denny's. However that is where the good stuff stopped. The sink and shower drained very slow and since it was a weekend, maintenance could not get there. My one year old daughter was found playing with a dead roach and there were numerous areas of dirtiness […] like the doors, base board trim, shower, and bathroom floors. On our last day, I found a used condom wrapper laying next to the bed under the ruffle cover. Very gross!!!!! I would not stay here again. Lisez la suite
"Good hotel for the price"
The room had been remodeled and was very nice. The bathroom needed a new bathtub. It had cigarette burns on the edge and the bottom was very stained. This hotel didn't have a microwave or refrigerator in the room which was a disappointment.

I have stayed at this Baymont several times in the past. It is cheap but usually decent. My most recent experience was terrible. Room was filthy and disgusting. Avoid at all costs.
