Hôtel d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix pour une ville comme Glasgow. La chambre familiale était très spacieuse, joliment décorée (comme tout le reste de l'hôtel d'ailleurs. La personne de l'accueil était d'une gentillesse extrême. Seul point un peu négatif : la rue n'est pas facile à trouver (avec les sens interdits) et située un peu loin du centre ville, rien autour sauf la station de métro (ou train urbain). Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Hôtel idéalement situé près du centre ville mais non bruyant. Des chambres fonctionnelles, propres. Un très bon petit déjeuner. Personnel accueillant. Possibilité de se garer juste à côté et l'hôtel fournit des tickets de stationnement à un tarif avantageux. ( environ 4£ pour la nuit et 8 £ pour 24 heures)

The Normandy is ideally situated for an overnight stay before setting off to Glasgow airport. It was ideal for our needs, the restaurant was reasonably priced and offered a varied menu, and we enjoyed a nice meal. The room was fairly small, but clean and ideal for a good night sleep prior to an early morning call. Although we stayed on a busy Friday […] night and there were two noisy functions on downstairs, there was no disturbence at all, upstairs in the bedroom. The price was inclusive of car parking while we were away on hoilday and car was ready waiting for us on our return. Overall, an ideal experience and will certainly use the Normandy again. "Space and soundproofing"
We stayed at the hotel on the 5th February. The room was very small and soundproofing between us and next door was non-existent! The staff were helpful and the evening meal was well served. The premises are, however, outdated.

"over night stop for airport"
We recently stayed the night before our flight and could not fault the service we received. We were very comfortable and this was a great start to our holiday. We would def use the Normandy hotel again when in the area. Many thanks.

Excellent location for the Airport, and loved the secure parking while you are away. Hotel rooms are in need of updating etc., very poor but you get what you pay for. The staff could not be more helpful and plesant which does help. Would stay again but would upgrade to better room.

The hotel is old and in need of renovation, but it is clean and the airport transfer was excellent. The food and service in the restaurant was also good.

"Excellent stay"
Stayed for one night while attending an event at the hotel. Was met promptly at the airport by the free shuttle and in less than ten minutes was at hotel. Shuttle bus staff very friendly. Efficient check in and warm welcome. Room was fine but very warm even though radiator was not on. We opened the windows for a bit and that sorted the heat. Lovely […] bathroom. Very nice lady greeted us at breakfast. Would like to have seen a choice of pastries or croissants for those who do not indulge in a cooked breakfast. Staff all very pleasant. THE ROOM I STAYED IN THE HOTEL, WAS GENERALLY OK. ONE THING, HOWEVER, WAS NOTICED BADLY THAT THERE WAS NO (BASIC) MAIN LIGHT IN THE ROOM WHICH, AT THE ENTRY OF THE ROOM, SHOULD TURN ON WHILE THE DOOR LOCK CARD IS PUT IN THE SLOT OF ROOM'S MAIN ELECTRICS ON. CONSIDER IF THIS COMMENT IS REASONABLE. HOPE THIS RECTIFIED IF I STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN. Would suggest that management shoud put some of reception staff on a crash course on customer care.

Don't judge a book by it's photo!! Looks nice on website but when you actually enter the reality of this hotel it is rather grubby!! The decor needs serious tarting up! The lift, I thought was going to give up every time i stepped into it! And when i went for breakfast i was told that i had to pay as it was not included in price....ouch! (Maybe that […] was my own fault ) The room i had as a double was tight and not for the clostrophobic On the plus side, the bed sheets were clean and the bothroom was spotless! "NOT CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The room that were given was not clean , under the bed I found a pair of men's socks ,under wear and also drinking. Thats not including about a years worth of fluff and dust . But give them ther due they did offer us another room ,which was claener but not to a great standard . it also was very noisy , not much sleep was had !

The price was ok, but the bathroom door didn't shut all the way and there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The people were nice, but I'm not going back.

We were at the Normandy only a short time but our room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff could not be faulted, they were polite, friendly and VERY helpful. I would definitely recommend the Normandy and would go back there any time.
