Hotel vieillot mais relativement propre. Personnel agréable à la disposition des clients. Emplacement idéal à promité des différentes lignes de métro , de la Vème avenue, de Times SQuare. Pensez à réclamer des serviettes de bain qui sont distribuées au nombre de brosse à dents présenté dans la salle de bain.

Hôtel agréable, petit déjeuner servit de 6h30 à 9h30 correcte (ne pas arriver trop tard), station de métro ( 39 Av ) à 3min à pieds qui vous mène en 9min à la 5ème Avenue. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.

Our room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The dining room staff was friendly and efficient.. The buffet breakfast was adequate, but the hot food was not great.

The building looks like something out of the Rockies plopped down in NY State. Nice fireplaces with real wood fires on a cold day. We had a king-bedded room that was spacious and comfy. Will stay again. Bed was very, very comfortable and room was a nice size; bathtub was smaller than I anticipated, but very functional. Houskeeping was courteous and fast.

We chose this hotel becasue it was relatively convenient to NYC and we were to spend a long weekend and did not want the expense of a midtown hotel. The location was convenient for us, and the cost was extremely good. "Great, quiet hotel about 45 minutes from NYC"
I slept better in this hotel than I usually do at home. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff extraordinarily helpful and polite. The hotel was a wonderful respite from a stressful house-hunting trip to New York City, and inspired us to rent a place nearby. I am a repeat customer. The hotel is clean and the staff very pleasant and professional. I left a pair of nice earrings in the room when I checked out, and didn't realise it until 3 days later. nice gym, very nice staff. bathrooms a tad antiquated and small, but room itself very comfortable.
This is an old building that has been nicely updated. Very comfortable beds and a very convenient location.
Facility staff were all friendly and helpful. Facility clean and comfortable.

Lovely lobby and excellent food and menu. Pool was clean and adequate - a jacuzzzi tub at pool would be nice. Room needed some more overhead lighting and night light in bathroom is always a good idea.

Convenient place for our needs, we stayed there took the train to NYC and returned. There was one amusing thing that should be corrected. The large commercial garbage containers are just sitting in the curb directly from the room and parking area. After returning from dinner there were three raccoons and a skunk rummaging through all the bags of garbage. "Great location"
Right off the Tappanzee Bridge.Close to historic sites, restaurants and shopping. Wonderful free breakfast. Good food. Pretty lobby, nice furniture to have conversation with friends. Accommodating staff.

We needed to check in early in order to change and get to an afternoon wedding. The staff were very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was great. The only negative was some noise which we think may have been coming from the ice machine -- not sure.

Convenient location right off the Thruway exit. Quiet neighborhood and close (2mi) to the MTA Tarrytown station. Train is 40-50 min to Grand Central. Staff is efficient and friendly without trying to 'upsell' services. The rooms are spacious and clean. The grounds are well maintained. The indoor pool is a huge plus for those rainy days. "Doubletree in Tarrytown"
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel, and it was very central to our touring the Hudson River Valley for the weekend. The included breakfast buffet was quite nice, and the waitstaff is excellent. Overall, a nice place to stay in this area, and surprisingly reasonable rates.

"Easy access to hotel"
OUr only complaint is that we had purchased a movie to view in our hotel room. We were able to watch about 1/3 of the movie when the fire alarm went off. WE had to evacuate the hotel for about 25 minutes until it was safe to re-enter. By the time we returned, we were fatigued and decided to call it a night. When we checked out my husband mentioned to […] the clerk that we were unable to view the whole movie because of the fire alarm interruption. I believe that the least that the hotel could have done was credit our account for the expense of the movie- just out of courtesy for the inconvenience. Very nice staff, facilities etc. Small, but adequate pool. Disspointly the Steam Room in Men's locker was "Temporarilty Broken", given the look/age of the sign on the door, this was not a temporary condition. Also surprised to see room service trays that we obviously from breakfast still out in the hall at 4pm, but this was only one day, so may be […] a one time thing. Doubletree Tarrytown has a beautiful appearance. The lobby is impressive, and the hotel seems to take great pride in its appearance. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Good gym & pool; nice lobby. The only complaint (albeit small) is that the elevator to the 2nd floor is very small!

I booked this hotel because, being unfamiliar with the area, I wanted a place convenient to Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, and the environs. I was not disappointed! Hotel itself was excellent but the young, hip musical events that brought others into the hotel and parking lot Saturday night and Sundayt morning were very inconvenient! They clogged the lots with no place for guests to park, damaged one of our cars and generally were annoying.
