Hotel magnifique : l'exterieur, le hall d'entrée, le salon, le restaurant... et la chambre (spacieuse, bien insonorisée, très bonne literie) sont dignes d'un palace. Service parfait. Hotel très bien placé. Parking privé facile. De tels hotels se font rares.

"Excellent Value!"
The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. In town for the race at RIR and the hotel was only 15 minutes form the track. The surrounding neighborhood had everything you could ask for.

Had a great stay here. Very clean and friendly hotel. Convienent access to the highway. Safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Richmond.

"Relaxing Stay"
We had a wonderful stay from the moment we checked in until we checked out. Everything was clean & efficient. We felt very pampered. We often stay at Hampton Inns, but this was the best one yet. Kudos to the staff!

I stayed here because it got the highest reviews, and it was all true! They have us bottled water when we checked in and they do a real hot breakfast for free. They also keep free fruit and coffee out all day. The room smelled so clean..and not that fake clean, used a bunch of febreeze trying to mask the stitch like at other hotels...it was really clean. Nice hotel in the west end of Richmond. Still about 20-30 minutes from the heart of downtown Richmond, but it offers lots of shopping options and restaurants. Very courteous and helpful staff. Hampton is a pretty reliable chain and this is one of nicer Hampton's I have stayed in.

Reason I gave a 4 was because I called for a wake up call twice and did not receive one. I don't know what the problem was, since everyone was very pleasant.

"Fantastic hotel in every way!"
We left the kids with family & went to this hotel New Years Eve & can't tell you how nice this hotel was. Quiet, comfortable bed, clean & spacious bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic also. Would stay here in a heartbeat next time. I am a frequent traveler & this hotel, although is not the Vanoy Renaisance in Tampa, is wonderful! Highly recommend it.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn for four nights between Christmas and New Years so that we could be near family. The hotel was clean, conveniently located, and cozy. The room was spacious, stocked with all our needs and well appointed. The bed was fantastically comfortable. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while, in fact, I stayed at 3 this week alone and this one blew the other 2 out of the water! Michael at the front desk was extremely professional and made me feel so welcome. His conversation style was very personal and polite; I'd return just to chat with him again. No complaints on the room at all. […] The location is great, its just down the street from a couple dozen places to eat, one of which is Mama Cucina (ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC) italian restaurant - authentic and very close to the company I was visiting. I'm afraid if I rave too much, their prices will increase! What a great staff with the right attitude. From the time I walked in the door until the time I checked out, the staff members were very attentive, personable, and helpful. The room was great with a mini-fridge, coffee available and fresh fruit in the lobby. Free cookies! (Really, can it get […] better?) Not to mention a nice hot breakfast spread served by friendly folks who always had a kind word. The location was perfect for my trip; close to everything I needed, included gas stations, restaurants, shopping, etc. I will DEFINITELY stay there again. The staff and room was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The only bad thing was that there was a spider in the bathroom in the morning, but I'm sure that was an isolated incident. We will definitely come back again!!!

"Comfortable Stay"
A group of us stayed at the Hampton Inn recently, and it was a very comfortable stay. The staff was very hospitable and the rooms were very clean. I'm glad we stayed here. Plus, the breakfasts were much better than the standard continental breakfasts at other hotels.

This is an exceptionally fine hotel in terms of service. We have never been treated as well, even at four star hotels in larger cities. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience while away from home. Thanks to all the staff we dealt with - you are the BEST!

Upon arrival to Hampton Inn Richmond West the appearance of the outside of the hotel was great. Check-in was very quick and staff was very friendly and courteous. Fresh baked cookies were there waiting and more were to come out later. Swimming pool was awesome with clean towels by the pool for all guests and surroundings were very nice! Breakfast the […] next morning was awesome with anything you wanted from cereal to waffles to fruit and juice and coffee! Rooms were clean and beds very comfy! I'm very picky about were my family lays there head to sleep at night, staying here put all my fears to rest. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast unbelievable, and did I mention the fresh baked cookies!!! My family has made this our hotel of choice for when we are in the area again. Great price, feels like a family run place. We had a great stay with our baby and the staff were amazingly friendly (Sandra and Jack)! They even prepare you a snack pack for the road!

Finally a hotel that lived up to the billing. We read the reviews and loved the idea of warm cookies when we arrive... It actually happened... the kids loved the hotel and my wife and I were very pleased w/everything.We stopped in Richmond for just an overnight stay on our way to our final vacation spot (OBX)
Everything was perfect! The room was up to date and clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff were outstanding (friendly and helpful), there was a wide variety of food to choose from for breakfast and fruit and freshly baked cookies in the evening, and the workout room was nice. Well worth the money and I'd recommend it to anybody!!
