Très bel hôtel. Luxueux, personnel très attentif à nos moindres demandes, spécialement les personnes de l'Imperial Lounge qui étaient tous très sympathiques. La chambre est très bien équipée, les installations SPA sont aussi superbes. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr!!!

Un bel hôtel luxueux qui offre une très belle vue sur Rome. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le personnel très attentionné. L'accès au Club Privilège est un plus très appréciable ... belle piscine. Hotel is a little further away from main sights. But they have shuttle to town and back and is quite frequent. Hotels is a 5 star luxury resort and is great if you want to sit by the pools, go to Turkish steam room. Unfortunately we did not have much time to do that. Because of our booking we were members of imperial club. This place is open from 7 […] AM to 11 PM. you can get free alcohol, breakfast goodies, lunch and dinner treats. The service in the club is outstanding and views of Rome from the balconies and lounge are great. Next time we go to Rome we will stay at this hotel and enjoy all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs. Excellent hotel .....Staff exceptionally good. Stayed 4 nights with 11 year old daughter. Sadly outside pool was being re tiled and indoor pool cost an extra £10 per person to use. The only other issue is the cost of £30 per head for breakfast ... so get a deal that includes breakfast

Staying at the Waldorf Astroia in Rome was such a wonderful experience. The hotel setting, up on the hill, with a great view of Rome was so lovely. Coming back after a day of sight seeing was so nice and it was great to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city for awhile. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Rome. The shuttle service […] from the hotel was very convienient, you had to be outside waiting at least 15 min before departure time but that was a small price to pay for the convienience of the service. On one particular day the bus was full and the hotel paid for a taxi to take us into the city, great service. Meals where to expensive for us to eat at the hotel every day, which wasn't a problem because the breakfast buffet was amazing, the best I have ever experienced, something for everyone. My husband and I made sure we gave ourselves an hour every morning (except one day when we had to be up really early for a day trip to Tuscany, highly recommend) to enjoy the breakfast. The shuttle bus offers a convenient method of getting into central Rome, but is sometimes too full and you will have to wait an hour for the next one. Pros: -Excellent staff, very friendly, responsive and helpful at almost every turn. -Physical condition of the hotel is quite good. -Hourly, complimentary shuttle into the heart of the City is comfortable and helpful. -Complimentary water each day was very much appreciated. -Views of Rome on a clear day are spectacular even from lower floors they are […] good if not great. -Rooms were spacious and had a sitting area and nice nice size balcony. -Being out of the heart of the City is a mixed bag. There is almost nothing immediately around the hotel, but it is a respite from the hustle and bustle and cab rides from most places were 15 eros (about 10 mins at night when traffic was lighter). Cons: -Hotel services (internet, food & beverage, etc.) are very over priced and there are few options immediately around the hotel. We walked to a small neighborhood market area about 10 minutes away just to get a light breakfast and see the neighborhood (mostly residential). As for wi-fi, we had just stayed at a Hyatt in London and at least wi-fi in the lobby was complimentary so you could download a quick item or your emails and go for the day without additional charges, it would be good if this hotel adopted that model. The shuttle world well to go into the city for the day, though if they only run one shuttle an hour in off season I sure hope in the peak season they run 2 for not everyone was able to fit on the 32 or so man bus. Also it's a general area no sign to start line so people cutting have no trouble walking toward bus as it approaches and start a line. All in all everything was perfect and well appointed. 6 weeks in Europe and the hotel was by far the best. Modern and large rooms with spectacular views. It was hard to leave the room! The pool facilities and restaurants were both fantastic. We had a room on the 7th floor facing the entrance to the hotel, the views were good but not as good as on the other side - fortunately the executive lounge was on the correct side and was open all the hours we wanted to use it, free food and drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Having a room on the 7th floor also allowed us to use the sauna, Jacuzzi […] and heated outdoor pools (normal charge 31euro each person each day). The indoor pool was being refurbished. One of the perks for all hotel users was the free bus trips to and from Barberini Square, run every hour from 9-9pm. The hotel staff were excellent. The view from the executive lounge and the roof top restaurant fantastic. The only small gripes were the noise of some of the other guests (TV on too loud), the bathroom could have had a better shower & the internet was 9 euro for 24hour period. Not a great place for young children or those who want a rowdy time, but as a place to spend our 25th wedding anniversary I doubt it could have been bettered. Would I go again? - Absolutely!
