The hotel was great. The a/c works really well (a must in TX), the pool was clean and relaxing. There is a taqueria right next the hotel and it is delicious! Perfect location. I'll be back again!

Hotel smells like constant cigarette smoke. If guest are allowed to smoke , provide them a smoking area away from other guest rooms. Bathrooms could use a better cleaning and improve maintainance. Very good area and location. Very good front desk assistance. Super employees.

It was just Ok, paid same price for this same hotel in San Marcos and it was very nice. This room was smaller and not as comfortable.

I have a wife, nine year old, five year old, and eighteen month old. We have one room with two beds and felt comfortable and safe. Will certainly go back and stay again.

located right out of the downturn area, it is nice if you wish to visit the Alamo and river walk.

excellent for the money

This was a wonderful place to stay. The rates were perfect as was the quality of the rooms - we had two rooms. Very comfortable, clean and modern. It was also very quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is a bit out of the way of the main attractions of the city but a reasonable drive to downtown. Staying out of the city proper provided a nice […] respit from the hustle of the city. The breakfast bar was quite complete. The only inconvenient thing was that it was split in two with some things at one end of the lobby with the rest at the far end of the lobby. Like many people stated this hotel has been around for awhile. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed 3 nights while visiting relatives over the holidays. We just needed a place to sleep at night and this hotel was more than adequate. Even though there seemed to be quite a bit of people there it was very quite. GREAT PLACE PET FRIENDLY WOULD DEFINETELY RETURN

It wa very convenient to the area I was visiting. The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful with directions. Breakfast was adequate. I would stay there again.

We used this hotel when moving our daughter into the dorms UIW, which is nearby. It is an older hotel, but very clean and well cared for. Free breakfast of boiled eggs, waffles, cold cereals, oatmeal, bagels, toast, pastries, coffee and juice was provided. The enjoyed the pool which lies in the middle of the complex. This is an older property, but from the landscaping to the condition of the room, the efforts to maintain it where very visible. It was very clean and the rooms surround a courtyard looking over the pool. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was not 5 star restaurant quality, but it was edible and more than adequate to get a morning start until […] lunchtime. They tea, coffee, juice, instant oatmeal, pastries, bagels, boiled eggs, cold cereals and milk, and a waffle maker - which my daughters' thought was pretty cool. My only complaint was that there was no easily accessible drinking water in the breakfast area. When I inquired about water, the young lady at the front desk took me out the side door into what looked like a storage/utility/maintenance room that looked like it was used by the housekeeping staff. It was in that room that there was a water cooler. Why they would have the drinking water in a dirty little storage room and not out with the rest of the food is still a mystery to me. The location was outstanding. Everything was easily accessible. There was a Mexican restaurant and well know coffee chain right in the same parking lot as the hotel. Just across the road was a BBQ and chicken place, the pancake house, and a Walmart. It is a 5 minute drive from University of the of Incarnate word, where we were visiting with our daughter It was a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again when we go to San Antonio. The previous reviews were accurate. The service and personnel at the hotel were great. My only real complaint with the hotel is the area. It looks like it is in a bad part of town but honestly I never had any problems. There is a Wal-Mart not even five minutes away. Our stay at this hotel was enjoyable. It was reasonably priced and the room was quite comfortable. I will most likely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while waiting for our apartment in San Antonio to be prepared. The room looked clean, but our comforter had a large yellow stain on it, so we didn't bother with it. The breakfast buffet was the worst of all the La Quintas we stayed at during our travels. To date, we have been to 4. The staff was curtious […] and helpful, but the overall location was a little seedy and I did feel a little concerned with my car being parked next to a busy a street. This, as well as all La Quintas, is pet friendly, so thats a huge plus. If you do stay here, check out the Mexican restaurant behund it. They have excellent food and great prices. Lisez la suite

This is an older motel, but it's been very well cared for. Our room was very clean and surprisingly spacious. The only difficulty is that it may be hard to find a parking spot near your room if they are full--but that's hardly a complaint at all!

The hotel seemed clean, the tub was dingy though. The staff was friendly. I would recommend checking the tv for picture quality before unpacking. Ours was snowy with zig zag lines and all. Very poor picture quality was a big disappointment for us. Breakfast was decent unless you are used to scrambled eggs and a meat of some sort. Those were missing. […] The coffee was awful! Great location at a very nice price. No complaints!

I like staying at this location because their staff is always very friendly and courteous. Location is close to my dentist office, close to downtown and close to shopping malls.

The hotel was reasonably cheap, and unfortunately, felt that way. When I arrived, the location was really more of a Motel than a Hotel. The parking was not very good, and the doors faced the street. A good deal of the furniture was damaged and/or stained. I refused to put my clothes in some of the drawers. The TV was an old CRT type of TV, as opposed […] to the newer flat panels (flat is the only type I have seen for a number of years). The doors used the old 'keypunch' types of plastic keys (VING).. The AC/Heating system used old-fashioned analog controls, as opposed to a thermostat, and I could not really get the room comfortable during the night. The beds and pillows were 'mushy' and not comfortable. The shower was a small bathtub, but with a straight shower-curtain rod instead of the more typical curved rods offered these days. There were also not nearly enough electrical plugs, and on of them had a 6-way splitter to provide more. The internet service was quick, but basically unprotected.. no sign-in screen etc. required. The location technically offered a continental breakfast, but the food did not look overly appetizing and the dining room was empty.. I decided against eating there. I had recently stayed in the same area (within 1 block) at another hotel, and it was a far better value, even though I paid more for it. Lisez la suite

The hotel was clean. No complains about the room except the pillows were too soft. Restuarants within walking distance. A reasonable place to stay.

For the price it is not to bad its close to just about everything i would stay there next time i go to San Antonio.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean; and the staff was exceptionally kind. It was perfect for the price, just don't go anywhere by foot; seemed like a dangerous area.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, nice breakfast. I didnt have a car and it was fine to get around - one bus route going downtown (south) & north to a huge shopping precinct. Another bus line going west to Crossroads Mall and east to the wealthy area. The hotel itself is next to Starbucks & the Post Office and a short walk from Walmart and various […] restaurants. The only downside to the hotel is that its next to the 410 freeway which can be noisy at night, but I found having the air conditioning on helped to ignore the traffic noise. The hotel was challenging to find with GPS. Tried calling to get directions, and with the overly vague directions given, ended up at wrong location. Then the hotel keys did not work and finally got into another room. It was pretty frustrating. The staff was friendly though. We are fans of La Quinta and will stay at others in the future.

Hotel had fast internet, room was clean, and the rates were reasonable. Would definately stay here again.

About what you'd expect for the price. Room was clean, towels a bit thin, next door to Starbuck's.

It is a great room for the money and it is very well located!!

las instalaciones del hotel estan en buenas condiciones y su servicio es muy bueno. El internet cubre todo el hotel sin problema. La alberca podría tener mayor limpieza pero no estaba mal.

Esta muy bien ubicado, serca de los parques, la habitación muy comoda y limpia.

La construccion del Hotel es muy vieja, pero las habitaciones estan muy bien.
