The hotel was good. The king room was big enough for our boys run and play. The carpet was dated, and old. The bathtubs looked old and out dated as well. The pool was fun, and the service was awesome. The biggest let down though was the fact that they were charging 9.95 to connect to their network. The Omaha,Ne DoubleTree Hotel staff was great and very helpful, I will say I was shocked to see that the hotel entry and the rooms do look like the picture. The only issue I had was was there was a lot of kids must have been a baseball tournment so during the day it was very loud in the halls. Otherwise I will stay again. Room was clean and fresh

Our room was fabulous! And clean! There was plenty of room for 2 people in the king suite, and the outside balcony was pretty cool! The 2 cup coffee maker was perfect for us, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Oh, and I LOVED the cookie they gave us at check-in! The girls at the front desk were very helpful. They gave us directions to the theater […] (and gave us movie times), and the next day gave us directions to the mall. We will definitely stay at the DoublTree again! Lisez la suite

I was very pleased with this hotel. It was in a great location and only minutes from all of the attractions we went to see. Very lovely, great fitness center that allowed for me to keep up with my workouts. Pool was warm and great, never too crowded. Food was DELICIOUS. I would definitely stay here again :)

Stayed on 2/25 of this year and was pleasantly surprised on how nice it was. The staff was very courteous, even letting me check out later than normal which helped my plans. Good value

I accidentaly booked this..thinking it was downtown Omaha...but it worked out great. The hotel in older style for sure, and looks to be undergoing renovations (in the pool area), but still a very nice property. When traveling with kids, suites are the way to go! The bedding is new, which is a huge bonus in an older hotel...so they are up to par there..bathroom, […] very nice and new. Kitchenette is a little dated, but we didn't care one bit. My only complaint is the restaurant - they had a wedding party there, so I think the mornings were busy, and it seemed difficult for them to keep up with keeping the food bins filled and clearly the waitstaff was irritated by everything. Overall, staff was friendly, so I won't judge the overall hotel stay by two undertrained and bad attitude waitstaff. It's only a few minutes to downtown and right off the interstate, so very easy to access. Lisez la suite

The carpet is old and need to be replaced coming apart at the seams. Oterwise the staff , convenince, resturant was great.

The hotel, staff and room were very nice. We were even tucked away in a corner room on the top floor with no one next to us - which was wonderful! My only complaint is the temperature of our room. We had some problems with our bath tub, but everything else was great! We stayed there during a 10" snow storm and they did a great job with their snow removal! The pool with the waterfall was very soothing and the extra large hot tob was a great place to watch the snow fall! Room service was prompt and tasty! The full size fridge was nice for keeping […] snacks and drinks cool. The hotel is close to many restaurants and close enough to main roads that getting places was fast and simple. Our 10 year old grandson came over to swim and visit us and later got sick and threw-up all over our bed. The staff was quick to respond, cleaned the room but said that they were not yet satisfied so they moved us to a different room without one complaint. Very professional under the worst circumstance.

Great, comfy, convenient & with reasonable rates. Employees, very personable & knowledgeable. Really liked the warm walnut/chocolate chip cookie upon arrival.....nice touch !

Be careful of the temp of the rooms, even after we alerted the staff. way too warm. we had to regulate the temp by opening the door and didn't feel safe with the door open. Kudos to Doug the bartender for remembering my name and being friendly. Breakfast was lacking and poor quality of food. Suites are large with kitchenette, great for having grand kids over for pizza and swimming. Large indoor lobby, Quiet, priced right, great value, tend to stay here because family is nearby.

The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Great count on the bed linens and super pillows. This is an older property but it is in good condition. The open atrium is awesome for meeting people. Great location if you want to go to Nebraska Furniture!

Too much clorine in the pool. You couldn't walk into that area without your eyes hurting.

Traveling across country and booked this location in advance. Best price available and the best hotel the entire way...

We found the rooms to be a nice size and clean. The staff was very courteous. When we reported that the foot on the washing machine was broke, they had someone there to fix it within 10 minutes. I was very impressed.

Hotel itself was very nice. Room very clean and roomy. Quiet except for the yelling at nite in the atrium from a woman with the football camp group. Wish the hotel would have taken care of that. The front desk gal was very nice but not real knowledgeable of a few attractions we asked about. The dining room definitely was not a good experience. Bartender […] waited on patrons at bar and dining room. Service was so slow we got our own coffee and I picked up our salads from the chef as they sat there for 10 min. Meal was just OK. For breakfast, my husband came down late and the "server" charged us for his meal but he didnt eat. We got our own coffee and served ourselves(buffet) and were charged $10.00 gratuity for a bill that was $45.00. The servers were not friendly at all. Wore a scowl on their faces the whole time. I was traveling with my dog. The staff at the hotel was very welcoming and seemed genuinely pleased to have both me and my dog staying there.

The best part of stay was the reception at the front desk. The rest of the staff seemed indifferent and distant. The one breakfast we ate there was cold and expensive. Pool area and stairwells dirty. Rooms also had some unclean areas. Bathroom was tiny and not in a convenient location. Found the the whole layout very odd, waiting on an elevator was […] a constant delay; could cause potential evacuation problems . The size of the room was adequate. The air conditioner leaked making a large wet area on the floor, the room smelled very musty, and moldy. Now everyone in my family has a cold. The pool was dirty. The sofa bed had a tear in it. They minimally cleaned the room between the two days we were there. They didn't leave clean towels between the days and we constantly had to call for towels. […] Whenever we called they were prompt at delivering our request, but we shouldn't have had to call in the first place. The floors in the room and pool area were pretty gross, nothing that couldn't be taken care off with vacuum or mop. Things I feel should be done regularly. Other then that, the staff was great and it was not too far from the interstate that went straight to everything we needed to get to.

Common area of hotel was very nice. Our room had a funny smell and we found candy on the floor. The rooms were a little small - 2 double suite and the beds were tiny. The breakfast was not included and was $10.95 per person. Way too expensive for our family of 5. 2 TV's, but 1 remote. Phone didn't work. Bathroom was a closet. 2 day stay and did not change sheets or give fresh linens for the second day. Hotel in general outside the rooms was not the cleanest--needed to clean the hallway carpets-dust a little getting rid of the cobwebs

The rooms were spacious and clean. There is definitely some remodeling going on, but it didn't detract from the comfort of the room. The bathroom was on the small side, but not too bad. Overall, it was a great experience and I would stay here again.

Stayed for business very good location close to everything. the staff was as good as any I have every stayed at. Always happy to help and got things done fast and well. I'm in Omaha a coupble of times a year and going foreward I will only use this hotel.

We had a non smoking room but it smelled of smoke. We called and they offered to switch room, but we were on a time crunch with a wedding to get to. The remote for the front TV didn't work and the one from the bed room worked occasionally. The shower also would loose water pressure and the iron that was in the room didn't work and leak water on what […] you were ironing. The staff were nice and the place is nice. Lisez la suite

This hotel was diffificult to find and the interior could use some upgrades. The pool deck is made of a material that is way to sliippery and the pool water smells overly smelly. Our room was missing a bath tub plug and we had to call for one. The room seemed overly humid as well, making us think there was too much air getting in from outside. The balconies […] are shared with the room next store which seems like a huge safety issue and made us uncomfortable to leave the curtains open. This hotel was amazing. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was located only a few miles away from the zoo and the old market district.

We stayed 2 nights for a wedding with my family, the block of rooms were reserved. On the first day, the pool was nice and open during the day. We had free range. By that night, the pool was wall to wall people. It seemed as though some of the people swimming weren't even guests. They came in through alternate doors after banging on them and other people […] let them in. I saw one person swim to the side and hock up spit and literally spit it on to the side of the ground next to the pool. They had a sign up indicating that the hot tub was below temperature, but that didn't stop over 20 people from being in there. The area around the pool was in disrepair. The door to the patio outside the pool locked shut with no key card entry. You had to hold it open with a rock. It was July 4th weekend, there were people setting off fireworks in the parking lot. The workout facility had 2 sets of everything, but only 1 of each set worked properly. It was nice A/C'd area, though. At night, there were swarms of people in the shared space. The hotel staff had a security guard at the front, but he had to help with customer complaints. Same noisy kids and adults partying it up. One lady let her 2 toddlers run up and down a ramp screaming the whole time. We were on the 4th floor tucked away and it was still loud. Many baseball team kids running free without parental supervision playing in the elevators. Breakfast buffet was nice. Made to order waffles, pancakes, omelets. However, the 2 girls that staffed the area were running ragged. We didn't eat there on Sunday, because there was no way they would be able to accommodate the 20 people in our family. The room itself was nice if not outdated. There was a full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, hairdryer. The toilet kept phantom flushing and running, so my husband turned the water off at night. We didn't bother asking them to fix, b/c the poor front staff was taxed. We had a very nice suite with both a large bedroom and family room, both of which were nicely appointed. The staff were friendly, if a little sparse.

Hotel was spacious, clean, and quiet. The decor was stuck in the 70's a bit, but updated enough. I'd recommend staying here if you need more room than a regular hotel room provides. Approx. 15 minutes from College World Series Park. Easy drive, never any traffic.
