"Hotel Days Inn Shoreline"

"Close to Seattle and CHEAPER!"
This hotel is in Shoreline. Fairly close to the 5 Freeway. I wanted to stay as close to Seattle as possible without paying out the wazoo for a place to sleep. This place was perfect. A 15 minute drive from downtown Seattle and they had free breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!
"Days Inn - Shoreline, WA - very basic, but good!"
We stayed two nights at the Days Inn in Shoreline, WA and although it was a very basic hotel, not too many extras or anything, it was clean, decent complimentary breakfast and a super cheap rate! So for the money we paid, definitly worth it. I would stay in this hotel again for sure. I was a little bit worried about the area it was in though. I would […] not feel comfortable walking around at night by myself. The front desk staff were nice, again very basic, but for the money paid, it is a good option and it's nice to be out of downtown seattle. It was about 25 minutes from downtown. Overall, I would say if you're not spending a ton of time there, it's great. If we were spending more time at a hotel though, I would have spent a little more for a fancier place. I don't think you'd be dissapointed though. Lisez la suite
"Don't let the bed bugs bite!"
When we first got to the hotel, we stood at the desk for about 20 mins waiting for someone to show up and check us in. We got to the room and everything seemed ok at this Days Inn. But once we got into bed, the mattress was super uncomfortable, you could feel the metal springs jabbing into you. The sheets on the bed were very hard and not warming. After […] the first night, my husband woke up with a big red spot near his elbow. Kinda just brushed it off, until the next morning, another red mark. Third morning, 3 more red spots. To me it looked like a spider bite, after we left the hotel, the spots stopped showing up, so it had to have been something in the sheets or headboard. I'd be very wary of staying here again, because when we told the front desk clerk, he didn't seem to care at all. No stars. Lisez la suite

"Great hotel that doesn't break the bank"
I had hesitations about staying in a hotel on Aurora in Seattle, but this hotel is definitely a bright spot. The rooms are an incredible value, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is located on Aurora, so anything in Seattle and the surrounding areas are easy to get to by car, or if you want an adventure, the nice, clean transit. Breakfast was included, […] waffle, coffee, fruit etc. A quiet, peaceful stay. The last Days Inn (Lynnwood) that I stayed in, a crazy man set his room on fire. Lisez la suite
"THE HOTEL WAS GREAT !"
I used to stay days inn about 8 days, it was comfortable and nice. everything was good.
"In A pinch"
The parking was ample, room was clean, and overall not a bad room or experience. Typical room one would see at a fairly low rate.
"Place to rest"
I chose the Days Inn because of its location near my family during my visit. The first room we got smelled like feet and lemons, it was disgusting. The bathroom fan also made a horrible noise when it was on. We asked to switch rooms and the obliged. The second room smelled much nicer and the fan worked properly.
"Days Inn Seattle North"
I asked for a non smoking room, that's what I got but the hallways and elevator had strong smoke odors. The shower curtain rod was hanging by a thread let water all over the bathroom. The wall paint was coming down. The clerk, Diane, was helpful and very polite. The breakfast was okay and handy.

"Nice to be close to our daughter"
But not in her face. She's on 15th Avenue NW. This was a very reasonably priced stay but as is often true for us: the mattress was too soft. Breakfast was fine.
"Days inn Lakeshore"
we had a very pleasant 2 day stay at the Days Inn- Lakeshore, It's not fancy but it's very clean and the staff very pleasant. We would definately stay there again. The breakfast was a nice extra and so is the computer in the lobby. the wi fi didn't work for us there but we were offered tech help which was very nice.
"BEDBUGS IN ROOM 209"
If you stay at this hotel take all bedbug precautions...don't leave your clothes/duffel bag on the bed, keep it on the suitcase rack. Put all your stuff on the high shelf or on the dresser. I woke up the first night to find a strange insect on my foot...upon researching it on the crappy hotel wi-fi it looked suspiciously like a bedbug, but really tiny. […] I checked the room but found no signs of bedbugs anywhere. After waking the next morning I found one crawling on the bed, and it was definitely a bedbug. The hotel is ok, low budget and all which is fine but bedbugs are not something you want to take home with you. Lisez la suite
"Days Inn Shoreline"
I expected that this Days Inn would be similar to the one closer to Seattle (still on Hwy 99) - but this one's room lacked a refrigerator and microwave. On the upside, less noisy than the other one. Both adequate to the task (a place to sleep), but no pretensions to luxury at all.

"Days Inn - Seattle North 19527 Aurora Avenue N"
This hotel was excellent value for money. Clean and fairly close to the downtown area. Every year we return to watch the NY Yankees play ball... and will use this hotel every year we come to Seattle would certainly recommend this to anyone. Very friendly welcoming staff. Also includes breakfast daily.
"Days Inn - Shoreline"
This hotel is great if you are not going back and forth from Downtown Seattle. It is a 20-30 minute drive depending on the traffic. There is currently a decent amount of construction that may hinder driving.
"Days Inn - Shoreline"
The room was fine. I felt safe in the parking lot and in the hotel room. Across the street was a porn store, a bar, and a tattoo shop. At no time did I see or hear any problems with people in the area. The man that runs the hotel was less than friendly - especially to my female travel companion.

Neighbor a bit low. Room very clean and maintained Staff friendly and supportive Good for low budget traveling
"Days inn north shoreline"
The rooms were clean but very small not alot of space the hotel was very far from Seattle. The staff were not very helpful, but for the price overall it was not bad next time I would pay for a little more comfort.

Nice hotel, very close to a bus stop. The only negative was the length of time to get downtown by bus - it would have been nice to be closer to Seattle.
"Filthy"
The amenities were as described; two beds, kitchenette, continental breakfast. However, the nonsmoking room reeked of stale smoke, I'm not sure if it was close to a smoking section or if it had been converted from a smoking room but my throat was raw the entire stay as a result. The carpet was really, really dirty. We let the baby crawl across the floor […] (once) and his hands and knees were instantly black. If you stepped onto the carpet after a shower and then back into the moisture on the bathroom floor it left black footprints. We had to use our towels to cover the chairs because there were what appeared to be body fluid stains on both of them. The mattresses were old quite lumpy. The continental breakfast was average, mostly carbs. They were slow to refill, so juice and apples/oranges were frequently not available. The location would have been convenient to downtown Seattle (10 miles by freeway) but there was construction so a minor inconvenience. If this room had been clean and fresh I would have given it 5 stars as the potential is there but the overall uncleanliness of the place made me want to retch. This will likely be my last Days Inn stay ever. Lisez la suite
"Beddings have to be upgraded, smoky lobby"
Lobby is smoky in smell... Beddings should be upgraded. Pillows are horrible. Bed covers are dirty and appear to be never washed.. Breakfast is horrible. Please provide fresh bakery rather than frozen ones. Coffee is the worst, watery...One can see brown coffee and water stream coming out from the thermal when pouring the coffee...
For the price of this place i thought it was too expensive for what we were offered, granted free breakfast ,ok,i guess. Location for going to the zoo was not bad.The beds were clean, rest of the room was pretty tired. Damp and musty smell,Bathroom clean but old.needs an all over facelift.
"Just North of Seattle"
We choose the hotel for a visit to the UW. It is about a 15-20 minutes easy drive to UW. The hotel is a bit tired, not much maintainence done. But it was clean and conveniently located. There are several restaurants close by, but also some "Adult" type venues in the neighborhood. Thought our end room overlooking the busy street would be bad, but with […] the room fan on I slept well. Lisez la suite
"Take Bus to Seattle"
For the price - good breakfast, clean hotel, close to bus stop (ask attendant for location). Bus #358 takes you within a few blocks of most of Seattle's attractions.
"Days Inn Seattle North"
Nice and clean. Good breakfast with hot waffle maker.
"Days Inn- Seattle North - great value for money"
Excellent value for money. This hotel provides simple amenities including breakfast. However it is clean and comfortable. Located in north Seattle it's a long drive from the city center especially when traffic on the I-5 is backed up which is often. For us the low price mor then compensated for the distance.

"Days Inn, Everett, WA"
This hotel was impressive. I was greeted immediately by the Desk Clerk and the hotel was very clean. Hotels.com however have left me speechless! Not only did they book me at the wrong hotel... but each time I tried to call to complain... Someone would answer the phone and then hang up on me!!! (after being on hold for 25+ mins) This happened 3 days […] in a row!!! Lisez la suite

"Great hotel if you have a car"
Not really "in the city", but not too inconvenient if you have a car. I couldn't find any convenient public transport options. Hotel itself was as I would have hoped!

"fine!"
iT WAS A GOOD STAY BUT THEY UPPED THE PRICE ON FRIDAY FROM THE THURSDAY PRICE. OVER-ALL THOUGH,GOOD. THE FREEBIE BREAKFAST IS IN THE LOBBY AND TAKE TO ROOM IS NOT ALLOWED.NOT A GREAT BREAKFAST BUT...THAT IS THE WAY IT IS. kEN
"Okay stay, but too far from downtown Seattle"
This hotel is actually located in a town called Shoreline which is north of Seattle and although google maps will say that downtown is only 14 minutes away, with traffic and construction it took over an hour to get to Pike Place Market. The bed had no support. Water pressure and heat in shower was great. There was a constant humming sound over the entire […] four nights stay which was annoying since I am a light sleeper. Waffles offered in the complimentary breakfast a plus...lacking on seats and not allowed to take breakfast back to room a minus. Lisez la suite

"Not Pleased"
Service terrible. Continental breakfast was horrible. Always out of food had to ask front desk (owner?) for more food to put out. No friendly greetings at all not even by the cleaning staff. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone.

"Found used condom under bed"
Our second night staying here after dropping a personal item under the bed, I lifted the bed curtain to find a used condom plus wrapper under the bed. After telling the concierge about the condom, it was not taken care of. After talking to the hotel maids, it was not taken care of. After talking to ANOTHER hotel concierge, it was NOT TAKEN CARE OF.
